it's a cute & lighthearted story where not everything has to make sense. fun to watch during my past time. wang yuwen was amazing in this too!! she truly embodied lin huaner & i believe she made the story more bearable and entertaining to watch. honestly theres too many loopholes and felt like the writers were lazy to write the script past the first few eps & the ending was a big question mark too but its okay since i had my fair share of entertainment

similar to Bon Appétit, Your Majesty

Why did they have to use a similar ending like Bon Appétit, Your Majesty???
I admit, it was cute, mature and no silly acting. I always like these "time travel" fantasy dramas.
Lin Huan Er and Hai Ming had great chemistry.
Before she passed out, she met and saw the guy (potential buyer of their company).
After she woke up in the novel, she said "It's you" meaning she remembered his face before she went live....and obviously he would not recognize her.
Okay now enjoying their encounters and how their connection was developing fast forward to the end, when she disappeared from his eyes, he was still able to see her through the pager??? Doesn't make sense to me.
And when she woke up in her current world (2025), she didnt remember to ask about the potential buyer that came in the company???
She was there "searching" for someone who didnt exist...like she forgot this was all in a novel.
I feel like the spent too much time in the novel, the last episode should have been waking up and he was still in the company and maybe exchange a few words...something
OR have a better ending than this....this was so Bon Appétit, Your Majesty coded at the end....

Overall, it was still a good drama and those points are the only things why it is not a solid 9 pr 10 for me.

Same old same old

It's a comfort binge watch, nothing extra ordinary, nothing too exciting.
Can we please stop making a ML act unreasonable whenever he gets jealous.
Like this is getting so repetitive and boring in this day and age that the minute I see a scene like that I get turned off by the drama.
Please grow up, tormenting a girl because you like her, jealous or confused about your feelings is soooo not 2026 !!
It's a decent binge watch with some very boring and cliche scenes. At some point in the plot they complete forget about the main issues, purpose or even the antagonist....why...because ML is playing love sick jealous puppy!! :b

Strong Performances, But Lacking Spark

This drama was just about average overall. At times, the plot suddenly became engaging and pulled me in, but at other moments it felt extremely dull and dragged on. The cast delivered solid performances, everyone is clearly talented and I believe the show earned its 7.9 rating largely because of them (though that still feels a bit generous to me).

Personally, I would rate it a 7, mainly for the actors’ efforts. However, I didn’t feel any real chemistry between the leads. The romantic scenes lacked that “butterfly” factor.

As a one-time watch, it’s fine. But as for a rewatch? Definitely not.

Loved the actors, did not love the story and directing.

I jumped into this right after Love Between Lines for CXX. While I loved the actors and the acting, the directing, editing and overall plot was just subpar. I think the actors did their best but I skipped through a lot of cringey scenes. The plot was also very thin. I just couldn't understand some story points because of the transitions between scenes.

I rate this drama a 2 out of 10. I was really disappointed because the characters didn’t match their personalities, and it made the story feel unrealistic. I also felt like the acting and character development were weak. I watched the first 10 episodes, but it was really boring and hard to stay interested. The story lacked excitement and emotional depth, and it just didn’t pull me in.
In my opinion, Love Between Lines was much better. It had a mysterious but cute and balanced plot that kept me interested. The storyline was engaging, and the characters felt more believable and well-developed. Overall, this drama just didn’t meet my expectations, especially when I’ve seen better like Love Between Lines.

A fun and charming story

My Page in the 90’s is a drama that beautifully blends nostalgia, romance, and personal growth into a story that is both moving and entertaining. Set in the 1990s, it sensitively portrays the dreams, struggles, and transformations of a generation shaping its identity amid social change. The narrative not only touches the heart but also keeps viewers engaged through the various situations where the protagonists interact—many of them filled with humor, warmth, and charming moments that perfectly balance the emotional depth of the story.

Chen Xingxu’s performance is one of the drama’s strongest pillars. His portrayal is layered, natural, and emotionally sincere, allowing him to convey every nuance of his character with authenticity. Moreover, the chemistry between the leads is truly incredible; their on-screen connection feels genuine and magnetic, making every shared scene compelling and memorable. Overall, the drama stands out for its warmth, thoughtful setting, and a story that lingers long after it ends.

One of the best series I have watched!

This is by far one of the best series I have watched. It has great actors - both ML & FL have amazing chemistry - the whole cast is really good. The plot is interesting, different to what I have watched, it has a little bit of everything, it has a lot of romance, it has comedy, both FL & ML are funny, more the FL she is crazy, everything she does to conquer the CEO is simply insanely crazy but funny. As always the assistant was so funny. The plot keeps you in suspense, but at the same time, it makes you anxious without knowing what is next. The "System" is heartless - - The soundtrack is great, I love one of the songs the most, but all the music is great.... This is a classy series, it was very well written, produced and directed... it's one of those that you can't stop watching, until you get to the end, and then it keeps you wanting to watch more - - - 2 Season will be great!!!
I wish the ending would have been different, at least a little different.... I wanted to see them married and with kids, or at least pregnant... even when they did enjoy their relationship, it's still lacking the wedding and marriage time - - I SIMPLY LOVED IT! the last two episodes made me cry like crazy, both actors, ML & FL acting is wow great, amazing, they made me feel their pain, mostly the ML while pretending everything was ok and not made her feel sad, he kept the pain to himself - that made me so sad, they really act superb....

the power of love

i love the story, tho lots of questions needs an answer of how it happens, yet it could be covered by "because of love'.
because of love - everything became possible, craziness became amusing - that's how i find their story.

though the 2nd couple gives me off, but thru them in the later episodes, Haiming & Huan'ers love for each other became stronger, that whatever will happen to them - the warmth of their affection for each other will always be within.

i like the loyalty of Gao Haiming 's assistant, a typical one and portrayed well.

All in all - the story is fun to watch... plus the couples played it well...

A Seemingly Light Story That Earns Its Ending

My Page in the 90s is one of those rare dramas that doesn’t aim for depth—and yet still manages to land emotional impact where it counts.

At its core, this is a light, high-concept story: a modern influencer is pulled into a novel and must complete a “system” mission—win the male lead’s love and secure a proposal—to return to her own world. It sounds gimmicky on paper, but what makes it work is the execution. The female lead doesn’t “perform” the role; she inhabits it. Her reactions feel grounded, her choices feel real, and over time it becomes easy to forget how absurd the premise actually is.

The male lead complements this perfectly. He brings a natural, lived-in quality to the relationship—small gestures, subtle emotional shifts, and a steady presence that makes the romance believable even within a constructed world. Together, they build something that feels authentic rather than manufactured.

The drama also maintains strong pacing for most of its run. Each episode moves forward with new situations, challenges, or character moments. It never feels like nothing is happening—until it briefly does.

Around the late middle (roughly Episodes 14–17), the story falls into a familiar trap. The main couple becomes stuck in a cycle of avoidance and misunderstanding, repeating the same emotional beat multiple times. At the same time, the second couple—who are otherwise charming—are also caught in their own loop of hesitation and self-doubt. With both storylines stalling at once, the momentum noticeably dips. It feels less like intentional tension and more like the narrative marking time.

Fortunately, the drama recovers.

From Episode 18 onward, the story pivots in a meaningful way. Instead of continuing the same conflict, it raises the stakes and reframes the central question. The emotional weight deepens, the pacing tightens, and the characters are forced into choices that carry real consequence. What follows is a final stretch that is both moving and satisfying, culminating in an ending that feels earned rather than rushed.

The second couple also finds resolution here, and their storyline adds an important thematic layer about fate—what can be changed, and what cannot.

The finale, in particular, is handled well. Rather than relying on a last-minute coincidence, it allows time for separation, longing, and active searching before reunion. It doesn’t over-explain its mechanics, but it understands that emotional closure matters more than technical detail.

This isn’t a drama that belongs among the most intense or tightly constructed stories. The mid-section drag is real, and it does rely on familiar tropes at times. But it also knows how to deliver where it counts. The ending recontextualizes the journey and gives the story a sense of completion that many similar dramas fail to achieve.

In the end, My Page in the 90s succeeds not because it’s deep, but because it’s sincere. It’s a light story that understands its limits—and still manages to make you feel something real.
