Woahhhh I'm literally so attached , they just broke the cute-o-meter ( a cheek pinch or ...) .....
I'm literally so done with this level of sweetness , Opps ! there's a lot of ants around me .Let's start with the very first episode :
Honestly, it was very boring ( just talking about the first episode ) , Well somehow I
lost my interest in it after I watched it cause dao was so damn rude and the ghosts were so annoying , literally how can you let your future husband sleep in a bathtub ?????
I just felt like I'm so done with itt (no hopes) and almost missed all the episodes till ep 5 . I saw a reel about Arthit in love and danggggg I was suddenly so excited and decided to watch it even if I was bored .
Well I kinda liked the 2nd ep cause things were so much better between my sweethearts , not just that gotta learn about dao's powerss that's unique uk ...
After they solved that murder case I was so glad when dao finally agreed to help Arthit , I found it quite interesting cuzzz that little guy was opening up ..
Some parts were funny , I just had to control my laughter with people around .
~ The best thing was the relationship between Direk and Arthit so chaotic and narakkk
•I've to give them the best paaa son duoo awardd fr 🤟🏻
•North's my boyyy I like his reactions mann , funniest guyy ever and waitt don't forget about his overprotective lover .
Wait a minute :::: Where are you going it's just the trailer.
So noww whattt from where should I start !?
Okkkayyy , it was so adorable when dao cried for thit , listen to his voice awwww .
Arthit look at this guy he fell for dao just like that , suddenly caring bout him thinking about him , most funniest decision getting over himmm loll . Can you see how mad he is bout his first love . I literally love to see thit in love the most .
So concerned , so obsessed with dao I can't believe that thit used to hate him naaahhh ...
He turned into a lover boyy isn't it ?
The journey FROM Dao's guard dog TO Dao's puppy .
Those scenes were so sweet : Dao patting thit's head , pinching his cheeks , I wanted to scream out louddd
I was so hot during after the car kiss part I can't stop blushing even when I'm just thinking .
I remember : Don't you think Arthit is so aggressively impressive , he was so stunned by just looking at dao wearing shorts , I don't actually like that part cuz I wanted him to respect dao as he looked so uncomfortable
but thit's face was to weirdly funny too .
I honestly like the calm ( outside ) , flirty and gentle Arthit more than the agressive one .
The fight part ep 7 after car race made me even more and more curious about the last episode , I was waiting for the whole time.
Honestly , I changed my mind it's not boring but unpredictably accurate . Believe me just go through the first ep and you're going to love the next episodes for sure remember don't bail after the first one like me , I'm regretting. .
*** Overly recommended by me it's even more beautiful than whatever I just wrote about...
I'm not so good at expressing , but from my opinion I quite like the way I express myself by writing , please don't mind me ...

So much better than Season 1...
Sometimes MDL drives me crazy. When you have a 24 episode Season 2 it would have been nicer to decide first if you want to split the three arcs in three seperate pages or not. If I had not seen this page by chance I would never ever had an idea I should do a review here too. When "New Sijaw" is not directing the childification of any series disappears (even when he showed he can do differently too) which elevates this series in a huge way. But of course they could not pass on stupid soundeffects to make it a drama only, they always need some comedic relief.
This story arc does not begin nice or cute, it starts with ghosts haunting Arthit and Dao. But both are not faced by it, because Arthit gives a rats ass about anything and Dao is "a medium" by birth and can handled it since childhood. The negative aspect of this story part is that all the ghosts fade into nothingness and not all ghosts get a satisfying solution to be reincarnated as I would have expected.
A central point of the whole story is the friendship of the two groups and especially the support for each other is prevelant in the younger boys group. The only downside is the 5th couple does not exist in arcs three and four, they were only present in arcs one and two. Of course each arc is its own story, but I would have wished we would have seen all of them even in the background (the 5th couple are the friends of Johan and North respectively).
While this story starts strong, it falls a bit flat in the end. There is the "forced drama" in episode 7 but of course we don't get a background why it happend and who the players were. So this feels a bit unsatisfying for me.
On the production side this is a top notch production. I only wish they would also go 21:9 like Domundi does, but besides that, there is really nothing to complain about.
Overall their chemistry works, their acting works and of course Oat with blue hairs is the cutest. My rating is 7.75 so I had a choice to round down or round up (which is mathematical correct). After watching so many crap thai shows I went with an 8, because compared to them this is so much better!

ThitDao Made Magic
Of all the stories this one surpassed the others with interest in the supernatural, emotional moments, bonding and resolution.Ngern proved his worth as an actor by embodying the character and effortlessly portraying Arthit. His emotional breakdown with the acceptance of never being able to connect with his mother again, will live in memory. There is a fluidity in his body movements and speech that doesn't appear to be over rehearsed.
Oat filled Dao admirably. His stoic and dead pan delivery created many humorous moments and welcomed after the overly sweet moments of previous couples. Though I will confess, the bedside conversation at the hospital was rewarding.
Together they blended beautifully to create the most natural pairing of all. This is the jewel. I cried, laughed and loved along with them. Direk included. A pleasure to see their bond. I truly appreciated the complete honesty the three shared.
As with most Thai productions, they tend to over state the obvious. The translation a little not stable coming to the end but understood.
I will miss them.

4th story
Finally another drama of Fourever You on our screen. Let’s discuss drama…The Sun from Another Star follows Daotok, an introverted art student who carries both the blessing and curse of a lifelong ability: he can see and communicate with ghosts.
The story begins when Daotok moves into a new condo after securing an unbelievable 70% discount on the rent. The catch? The building is heavily haunted, filled with noisy spirits constantly throwing tantrums. Since Daotok isn’t afraid of ghosts—and desperately needs a place where he can keep his cat—he accepts the deal without hesitation.
Living next door is Arthit, a medical student who is Daotok’s complete opposite. Arthit is arrogant, hot-tempered, impulsive, and very much an extroverted “bad boy.”
Initially irritated by each other, their paths constantly cross, especially since they are the only two living residents on the entire floor. They begin interacting more because of a ghost named Donut. Once Arthit’s friend, Donut asks him to uncover the truth behind his death, leading Arthit to turn to Daotok for help.
Behind Arthit’s tough and reckless exterior lies a deep, suffocating grief over the loss of his mother. Donut’s unresolved spirit makes Arthit wonder if his mother’s soul is also trapped somewhere, unable to move on. After discovering Daotok’s ability to communicate with ghosts, Arthit desperately asks for his help in finding her.
Reluctantly—and after much persuasion from Arthit and his friend North—Daotok agrees. Together, they begin searching for Arthit’s mother’s missing soul.
As they spend more time together, the two gradually grow closer emotionally. Arthit slowly realizes just how drawn he is to Daotok, though he remains afraid to admit his feelings or let himself fall in love. Daotok, meanwhile, has built thick emotional walls around himself after being deeply betrayed by his first love.
So in the end, how will these two boys find the courage to take a step toward love?
That's pretty much the story without giving the spoiler. Now what I like and don't (especially the difference from the book).
What I like:
+ Ngern & Oat played Arthit & Daotok beautifully. So fit for their role…
+ Happy to see the gank again…
+ They change how obsessed Arthit with Daotok... Like for example: the moment Daotok live in Arthit's room, instead because Arthit kidnap Daotok, they made it because Daotok have no other choice due to electricity in his room
+ Seeing how protective Jo is toward North—he won’t let anyone even raise their voice at him.
What I don’t too like:
- The chemistry between Ngern & Oat not so much… I don’t know how to put this into words…
- They erase and change several important scenes from the book that in my opinion make the story better…
- They changed the music—specifically the song Arthit was supposed to create. Haha. And honestly, the drama didn’t really capture how huge the song was supposed to be or how it suddenly made Arthit famous overnight.
Overall I am really happy this was on the screen… Below I’ll write about important scenes from the book they change / erase. So if you don’t wanna know just stop reading here…
==================================================
SPOILER ALERT!!!
==================================================
The changes:
* The most disappointing change is the scene where Arthit is supposed to be abducted after the race. Instead of an actual kidnapping, the drama turns it into a weak “accident” that leaves Arthit heavily injured. Honestly, I don’t even think the incident shown would realistically cause injuries as severe as the drama suggests. The original scene was meant to feel far more intense and nerve-wracking, allowing us to truly see Daotok’s panic and realize just how important Arthit has become to him. For me, Studio Wabi Sabi chose the safer route by heavily toning down the violence from the series.
* They also removed Daotok’s background story. Of course, I’m talking about Daotok’s high school days—when he was bullied and how he dealt with it. I understand why the drama chose to leave it out, but I still think showing a little of that part of his past would’ve added more depth to his character.
* Arthit’s inner struggle as he tries to deny that he has fallen for Daotok. In the book, we can truly see how deeply Arthit struggles with his feelings.
* The room is too big. Haha... When I read the book I imagine is like studio apartments. Not 1 bedroom...
* Direk reaction not so fun. In the book more extravagant, like he literally shock Arthit can love someone... Honestly kinda wait for his reaction, instead I just get usual expression...
* The moment Arthit talk to Daotok's dad on the phone, said he want Daotok be his 'wife'

The Sun and the Star
The most unrealistic part about the eight episodes was not the ghosts - it was Arthit's dad being extremely cool with him just quitting med school. Yeah, that's not how it works! But factual accuracy aside, this was a genuinely sweet and innovative addition to the Four Directions universe, certainly my favourite of the parts until now. Who knew that actual plot could help build a good series? (I'm not saying anything, but we know plot is always good)
Dao and Thit are one of my favourite couples - there's no faking of anything in their relationship, what you see is literal what you get and I'm glad we got to see exactly how they figured each other out. During that time, we got an actual story with Dao and his spirit - seeing abilities helping not only Arthit with his mom, but also several ghosts he lives with (this is also a neighbour/proximity love story, which YES)
In that period of five or so episodes, we see a lot of both the leads and their respective personalities. And for once, there was no terrible parent or insane trauma on our screens. Thit and Dao are both flawed individuals but their struggles don't feel ramped up for drama. I liked how they each had things to deal with, but none of it had to with physical, mental or emotional torture or manipulation.
And then, once we and they get to know each other well, that's when we get the romance. I will admit, once it switched to just romance, the pacing became dismal (as with the rest of the other parts) but I was just so charmed by Arthit and Dao that I didn't really mind.
I suppose this is not much of an informative review as I'd like it to be, but honestly, I have no real complaints except for the pace and some questionable behaviour by Arthit at times. Ngern and Oat did a wonderful job, they had so much chemistry and I really enjoyed their dynamics.
Honestly, if anyone very badly wants to watch any of the Fourever You stories, this is the one I'd recommend. Every character feels more fleshed out, familiar and new alike, the main couple is amazing and the story is really good.

A mix of good and bad
Okay, so I have thoughts. This series definitely have a mix of good and bad things.I'm gonna admit and say that I wasn't the biggest fan of it in the beginning. The pacing was pretty slow and the ghost story felt a bit random, but it was actual a great set up for the romance.
In the middle (EP 4-7), it was the sweetest, cutest thing I've ever seen, and I rarely see two character's feelings in that good of a way.
Now, in the very end there's an event that is so random with no follow up that I'm questioning why it's there. It genuinly just feels like something for drama and for the characters to be able to say "I love you".
I also want to mention the emotional scenes that was definitely this series lowest point. I felt absolutely nothing, and I think the reason is because there was no real build up and I which we could've seen even more of the juicy character conflict that they had such a good base for.
Also, justice for Dao's power, cause we had it in the 4 first episodes, and then we just never saw it again? It could have been used to show character development in such a great way, but they just didn't.
I do wanna praise the charactarization for Dao and especially Arthit. Even though we didn't get to see that much of their conflict, I still really liked them and they felt complex and layered.
In the end I gave it a pretty high rating just BECAUSE the middle is just *chief's kiss
It's up to you to decide whether it's worth a watch, but unless you're not too hang up on the emotional scenes, it's a pretty good series.

It’s 2026 yet we’re having non consensual scenes
First of all: North is the absolutely cutie pie of this universe. We love him. His friendship with Arthit is so funny and cute.Getting back: them and JohanNorth are by far (we have TigerNao to happen yet) the most insane chemistries in this whole series. Not that the other couples are bad (that's not the question really)! But they're other flavors.
But I have some specific things that made me a little uncomfortable: there are multiple scenes where Arthit was crossing Daotok's boundaries, and even if Daotok forgave him. Well, I don't. It made me uncomfortable. It's 2026 so it feels so ridiculous and makes me so angry… consent IS NOT optional, WTF.
Along with this, they had the most interesting and fun plot of the whole Fourever You universe, still, they made it… boring. It feels empty too. I have a lot of problems with the decisions that the screenwriters made here. It's just upsetting. I had high expectations but now I honestly can't believe that this show has such a high score here on MDL My problem here is that the process of them falling in love is too rushed, I understand that we had a short time, it's an 8 episode arc/series. But still…
They're amazing actors! I hope they work together soon bcs as I said, good chemistry and they're both very good actors!
It has interesting directing too! But nothing could fix this script. Honestly… it's such a shame! I was so excited.

*taps chin contemplatively* Hmmmm...
This is yet another show that took over my Twitter feed for weeks and has (as of now) very high ratings, but I just seem to be on the other side of the majority.👻Let's start with the good👻
1. Arthit's r/ship with Direk - If there's one thing that Thai BLs will give you, it's a shitty dad. They are a dime a dozen. Out here, like they are trying to win 'worst BL dad of the genre' or something. That's why it was so refreshing to see how healthy and utterly unserious the relationship between this father and son was. Please, can we get more of this? I'm tired of all the a-holes.
2. This gave me 'Semantic Error' vibes in a couple of ways
a. Daotok reminds me of Chu Sang U. He is very robotic, especially in those beginning episodes. He seems to have a bit of a hard time peopling and a harder one understanding Arthit
b. How Arthit pursues Daotok. He lowkey basically annoys him into liking him. Which is what Jae Yeong did to bag Sang U. It wasn't on the same level, of course, but Arthit took a page from Jae Yeong's book. I like this version of pursuing what is basically a spicy street cat in human form. You have to be willing to annoy them and push boundaries (knowing that it will earn you some scratches) if you want them to notice and keep noticing you.
3. The relationship development in episodes 4-6 - This is where their relationship, the slowburn as it is, shines the best.
4. That NC scene - Who directed that shit? And can we have them coordinate more scenes in the future? Coz Holy Shit... Lemme not say more on this very public platform.
5. Solid friend groups for both characters
👻What Could've Been Done Better👻
1. The 1st 3 episodes - The pacing is off, and overall, doesn't add much to the plot or the overall plot. Perhaps, you could argue that it helps introduce us to Daotok's powers and helps with forced proximity between the characters. I'll agree with you that it's true.
But the fact that each episode is about an hour long, and we don't really get to see much of Daotok's power after ep 3 (I think), and the girl from jail ups and disappears until she's needed for some sleuthing later, it overall feels like a waste of time.
Maybe they didn't have enough material to fill 8 episodes and chose to drag this out. Or maybe they did, but chose the wrong thing. IDK, I haven't read the novel.
2. Arthit's behaviour in that living room scene in Ep 6 - I have no idea where that behaviour change came from. He'd been such a respectful green flag in the r/ship, then all over sudden.... TF? That kiss and the reasoning behind it weren't it. It reminded me of those Korean manhwas that start so healthy, genuine, and respectful, then, for some unknown hellish reason, the author decides that s*xual assault is what the story needs. Their makeup after that was really cute, but I'm sure they could have done quite literally anything else to bring them closer. Not this predatory act
3. Ep 7 & 8 - More pacing issues. And the absurdity of the choice to include a random shooting? It reminded me of those useless 3rd act break-up scenes. Where the author or screenwriter is like, 'Ah, they are doing too good and too happy right now. Let's include some drama.' And now, as the reader/viewer, I'm stuck wondering where all the unnecessary drama came from.
The shooting incident didn't even add anything to any relationship. Daotok had already accepted being with Arthit. He didn't need this random occurrence to make him 'realize' his feelings for the man, or whatever point they were trying to make
Overall, I'd say that this is fine. While the pair is cute together (I really enjoyed how cute n needy Arthit became once he started pursuing Dao), the overarching story itself leaves much to be desired. What had the potential to be good is ruined by pacing issues and side quests that could have been done and over within 2 episodes, tops.
Random (unrelated) thoughts
i. I could not help but wow at how beautifully their skintones contrasted. Generally, BLs love that (slightly) tan topXpale bottom thing. I usually notice it as like a footnote in my head, but it doesn't stand out to me. Maybe this time it stood out coz of how deeply(?) tan Ngern is. I pray that that man never touches skin-lightening products
ii. If Ngern and Joss Way-ar ever took a gym pic together while flexing those biceps, shoulders, and thighs, I would potentially, spontaneously combust. May the gyms in Thailand remain open, and may these two never stop going

Solido
Carino, solido. Mi sono piaciuti e li ho trovati molto validi come coppia, quindi kudos for that. Was this review helpful to you?
Honest opinion
First things first, this is going to be a hard review for me. I will be honest that I have a hard time separating my opinion as someone who read the novel, especially that TSFAS is my favorite BL novel.Watching it was very special to me. To see Arthit and Daotok not just in my imagination but literally as real people. Them choosing Ngern and Oat to do this is the best part. They were able to portray ThitDao well. And of course, we also got the best person for Direk — Jab. Other cast also did a good job, especially our Mae Min. I think my only negative take with the casting was Dao’s two fathers. I can’t see the chemistry and the actors’ connection with the characters.
As I said, it’s hard for me not to compare it to the novel, but I still believe that they were able to make it a good series. The story is still there. They were still able to make me cry with DoMin and the hidden sadness of Arthit.
But one thing I really noticed were those small things that were not included in the series. For others, it might be small, but those were what ThitDao was made of. Those small details that show Arthit’s gentleness and vulnerability. That show why Dao is Dao. The little moments that show how genuine and magical their love is. I love the Arthit that I saw in the series, but he was not the Arthit I fell in love with while reading the book. It’s missing some small elements, but then again, those small things are the reason why I love Arthit and Daotok so much.
Overall, I still appreciate the series for what it gave and how it brought the story to life. It may not be exactly how I imagined it, but it still holds a special place in my heart. And maybe that’s okay, because some stories are just meant to feel different when they leave the pages and become real.

NgernOat is Gonna be an Official Pair Right? RIGHT!!
Omg where to begin I LOVED this storyline!! I was skeptical at first with the ghosts and that whole storyline lol but it was fine. I am big on chemistry and boy did Arthit an Dao deliver SOULMATES!!This couple is coming real close to my love of Jo and North in this universe. I wish we had more timeeee, give me a full at least 12 ep season with them please!!! 8 ep was not enough, all I can hope is we get more of them in the next part of this season.
I absolute loved Arthit and Ngern freaking crushed this role!! The slowly falling in love to being absolutely obsessed with Dao, ugh I ate that upppp. Black cat/ golden retriever is my absolute favourite and that is Arthit and Dao. I want to rewatch this over and over again, I need a special episode, I just need MORE. I wanted to give this a 9 so bad cause I truly truly loved it so much but my only qualms were I wasn't super into the solving the ghost murder lol and I love you Oat but the English with his dad was just too cringe...
Still highly recommend and I will be rewatching, this was so good I’m so sad it's over!!
