Celebrity This kdrama is so silly and cute honestly ?
everyone saying its giving 2016 kdramas is so real because i genuinely miss that era sm 😭but honestly i wish it was longer because everything feels so fast paced and i feel like we barely got enough of the story. the concept is actually so good and i need more context and more moments with the characters. like theres still so much they couldve done with this drama im ngl i might actually need a season 2 lol

A COMFORT SILLY OVER THE TOP ROMCOM FOR WINTERS
A near PERFECT ROMCOM ... ep 1-6 silly goofy funny and over the top unrealistic but yet self aware fun ... followed by some dramatic moments with still some funny mix i really like that ep 7 was mehh and it started to drag ( if you are binge watching ) but ep 8-10 gave this drama some grounding with comedic moemts spears in there... one of my fav comfort drama of 2026 for sure .... as writers were creative with tropes and they did go all in with the sillyness .... you have to commit to it and they did i like it ... overall perfect for early winter vibes. the FL looks like girl from BRAVE animated movie with her hair ... and i really like their full teeth smile and how FL ML are not perfect looking ( according to my beauty standard ) STILL i like that they casted according to the role and acting ability ( a compliment don't take in a negative way ) and a solid supporting cast but i think so they deserve more screentime but its just nitpicking... will watch reels of this drama in coming days for sure ... okay now will watch doctor x and 100 days of deception on NETFLIX ... October is packed. Was this review helpful to you?
refreshing and fun!
Awww this was just like watching old dramas with cliche plots and I loved it. It was refreshing and fun!Baek Ho Rang and Na Bo Bae were cute on screen and loved their dynamic. I also loved their chemistry.
Choi Do Yun is evil!!!! Wants a position he cant even manage and that mother of his...
Overall, I liked it and I am glad it wasn't drawn out and if you have read my reviews before, you know that I am a sucker for wanting to see getting proposed to, wedding and perhaps a family but come on, we could have gotten a wedding???? 😅

cute like 2016
The story is good, the actors do a great job, and honestly, the length of the drama is just perfect. It’s a really cute little show to keep you entertained over the weekend. It gives you that nostalgic 2016 K-drama vibe, with all the classic elements like a second male lead, a chaebol male lead, and a bit of fantasy. It feels familiar in the best way possible.
I’d say this is a really good drama to watch when you just want to relax and kill some time. Nothing is particularly bad, and everything works well enough, but there’s also nothing especially unique that will make you remember it for a long time. Some things are silly and don’t make much sense, but honestly, isn’t that part of the fun of watching K-dramas? 😂
I really enjoyed watching a short drama like this because it manages to cover all the essentials of entertainment without dragging the story out unnecessarily. It has romance, fantasy, familiar tropes, and enough cuteness to keep you entertained.
So, if you’re looking for something light, fun, and easy to finish over a weekend, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try. Just don’t go in expecting something extraordinary—watch it for the entertainment, and you’ll have a good time!

this Charged my heart
I loved this one. For this genre of drama is super cute, flirty, fresh , funny, entertaining with a good chemistry. Absurd but still enjoyable. This came at the perfect time because I just wanted something fun to watch, and this delivered! Is not a masterpiece, a cinematographic drama , but a simple story that charges your heart. I really recommend.

A romcom that reminded me why I love romcoms
This drama took me straight back to the classic 2016 romcom era. Soo-bin and Young-kwang really did their thing with this one, because this is exactly what a romcom should feel like. The story kept me engaged from beginning to end and never once felt flat to me. Their dynamic is a huge part of what makes this drama work, and the chemistry between them felt so natural.Take Charge of My Heart reminded me why I fell in love with romcoms in the first place. Like Bo-bae said: “It doesn’t matter if it’s cliché and childish. When you’re watching something fun, you forget everything else.” And honestly, that perfectly sums up why silly romcom clichés work so well. Sometimes, all you need is a fun, cheesy love story that makes you forget about everything else for a while.

Light and fun
This show isn't a masterpiece, but my rating is based on the way it made me feel. It's been a minute since I have enjoyed anything so much. Binged in one day (thank you, Netflix, for dropping all episodes at once).Kim Young Kwang as Ho Rang and Chae Soo Bin as Bo Bae were perfectly cast. Actually, I've seen them in similar roles, but I'm not complaining. They are both so charming. Their feelings for one another seemed to develop organically and they were just so cute together. Bonus for the height difference. They made me smile. A lot.
Bo Bae's family and best friend were a treat as well. They loved her unconditionally and it was sweet to see how they adapted to her special "ability".
Cha Woo Min as Eun Ho. He's played a part like this before, as well. But he is a terrific 2ML. He brought so much heart to his character. I love the way he was written.
10 episodes was perfect, EXCEPT their time actually together at the end felt rushed. And come on, guys, a wedding as part of her script isn't good enough. Why couldn't we see a wedding for the main characters?!?
I love Kim Mi Kyung in everything. I have to say, here, as Ho Rang's grandmother, was the first time I haven't liked her (but that's the point!). She did a great job, and I was fascinated by her hair.
Me, nit-picking:
-I would have liked to have seen more consequences for all the evil characters.
-The use of profanity. Absolutely not necessary here, but it IS Netflix.
I'm so glad I had a free day to binge this. Now I'll watch it again to savor my favorite parts.

Peak Kim Young Kwang. Silly but fun.
Shamelessly, I am rating this as 10. Sometimes all you need is a kdrama that is illogical, cliche but fun that would make you grin from ear to ear and scream due to oozing chemistry while watching, and somehow it just makes sense. I know that KYK is a great actor. I’m a fan because he acted so well in his previous dramas. . I’m a fan too of CSB as she delivers. I can’t with their chemistry. My heart swoons. Their acting is so great. Whoever styled KYK in this drama, I hope you have a good sleep at night. I love the secondary characters. I didn’t mind the love triangle and didn’t find it stressful at all. It was actually a funny banter plot between the ML and SML. I think this is the peak drama of KYK commercially and I wish him success and lots of endorsements. Was this review helpful to you?
No expectations
I saw the premise for this and thought it sounded really ridiculous, however kept seeing everybody raving about it on media. So decided to give it a try and laughed my socks off, cried a little bit, brilliant, absolutely light fluffy and very binge worthy.I do love an unserious show and the chemistry between the leads was fantastic.

Series Barely Works, Despite a Complete Lack of Creativity!
Somehow this predictable series seems to work, for the most part, despite a complete lack of creativity from the writer. There isn't anything we haven't seen before. In fact, within the first ten minutes of the very first episode, I already knew several things were going to happen.Baek Ho Rang's life would be at risk when he would nearly die from not being recharged by Na Bo Bae. That was a given.
Something, likely a feeling of being a danger to Baek Ho Rang, would drive Na Bo Bae away from him. These happen all of the time in K-dramas where someone runs away.
You would have the stuffy rich family member (in this case, the grandmother) who sits back and watches everything play out, pitting family member against family member. This also happens all of the time in K-dramas. Here, you have an old woman who is as much of a failure as a Chairwoman as she is as a grandmother.
At some point, Baek Ho Rang will lose his position, likely due to his condition, that will make the inept, thug family member take over the company. The thug, of course, is a spoiled brat who believes he's entitled to everything. Very typical and boring.
The jealous girl, who is in love with Baek Ho Rang, will do underhanded things to try and force things to work out between them. Another typical K-drama plot point.
And, of course, you have the initially disapproving family members and friends, because even being a 30-year-old woman, Na Bo Bae is incapable of making her own decisions. She's more like a 16-year-old girl.
The writer must have taken the template from so many other dramas and decided to simply add some rough changes here and there, rather than use any shred of creativity to try and make the story unique and interesting. Predictability isn't always a bad thing when it works. And it's largely the performances of Kim Young Kwang (Ho Rang) and Chae Soo Bin (Na Bo Bae) that keeps things barely afloat.
I liked that fact that Baek Ho Rang doesn't just change who he is overnight. He pretty much stays the same throughout. He's driven, bossy, and controlling, despite having an artificial heart with a battery that needs to be recharged.
Na Bo Bae is your typical K-drama girl. She's an outcast, a loner, and agrees to a contract with Baek Ho Rang when her electrical powers are pretty much the only thing that keeps him alive.
Of course, we have the typical friction between the two, and the contrivances that force Na Bo Bae to move with Baek Ho Rang so that she can always be there when he needs her. Heaven forbid if two unmarried people move into a mansion together, even if they're adults.
Once again, we get the rich man swooping in to save the poor girl. I did like the fact that there were a few times where the characters poke fun at this. Baek Ho Rang points out that there aren't nearly as many rich Korean men as dramas would like you to think.
Still, we get the typical bought out amusement parks, restaurants, and so forth. Things that nobody could possibly be able to do in the real world. It's all fantasy that we've seen countless times in romantic comedies and dramas. They're so overused that they've become tiresome and there's no surprises left.
If not for the chemistry between the two leads, this series would have been another failure due to a lack of any creativity by the writer who largely failed the story.

Cliche done right!
This drama is the epitome of cliche. The classic rom-com. We have the Orphan CEO ML with a trauma, poor FML struggling in her career, a very sweet, completely unnecessary SML and very annoying and irritating antagonists who are stupid. Family drama, inheritance and incompetent cousin fighting for the business.Kim Young Kwang was phenomenal as Baek Horang. He was so dramatic and silly. I loved him so much. He does roles like these so well. He has the aura of the CEO, but he can also be a loser in love. And he also delivers emotional scenes like no other.
Chae Soobin was so freaking adorable. She played the bubbly character so well. Na bobae was such a sweetheart, I loved her.
The chemistry between KYK and CSB was so cute. They were so natural together and looked so good.
Haven’t enjoyed a rom-com from start to end in a while.
The premise is pretty generic, but it was done so well that it had me laughing and swooning the entire time. There were a lot of obvious plot holes, but I didn’t really care because they delivered in the rom-com aspects. I do feel like the love triangle was the most unnecessary thing. Usually love triangles serve the purpose of bringing the leads together, but here they didn’t really need it as they were living together and she could only touch him so they were bound to fall for each other. Instead of making Eunho fall for her, he could’ve been like a supportive brother/friend. It would’ve been a lot more fun.
The villians were underwhelming and they didn’t get their karma, however I suppose they didn’t focus much on them as it would be a waste of screen time because they had only 10 episodes, though I would’ve loved 2 more episodes. They could’ve shown a bit more of them and shown her drama’s shooting.
Overall, I had so much fun watching it and it’s definitely going to my rewatch list.
