and probably my last. I loved this series so much. It has been a long time that I have been obsessed with a BL series this much. The plot was sometimes questionable but the chemistry and the writing of the characters made me loved it so much. WSW is a kind but stingy character that sacrifices everything for the one he once despised and CC who is a cold blooded lone wolf becomes a lovable character that only wants to love the one he cherishes with all his heart. The character development is just *chef kiss*. BUTTTT the one thing I didn't liked is the censorship. I hate that this series became popular. The removal of the scenes was so obvious when the episodes were getting shorter and shorter with every episode and the worst part is the finally episode being the shortest. We didn't even get a final kiss goodbye and that will forever taunt me. So unless this homophobic country becomes less homophobic, I would never watch another CBL every again. It is for my own mentality. I do hope that the actors career thrive as they were the real reason this series became a HIT.

An All Rounder Story

Seriously, I tried my best to slow down watching this series because I didn’t want it to end too quickly, but eventually the day still came no matter how much I didn’t want it. And just like that, in these 3 years of watching BLs, this is the most all-rounder story I’ve ever seen. The emotions were literally a roller coaster — there were sweet scenes, heartbreaking ones, sad moments, secondhand embarrassment, and funny parts, all in one. It was so good that I might feel empty again, just like when I finished The Untamed back then.

I am *definitely* not okay, y'all. I miss them. I ache thinking about how far they’ve come, how much they’ve changed, and the journey they’ve been through.

Chi Cheng, in the beginning, is this towering presence, confident, composed, always a step ahead. He could crush Wu Suo Wei effortlessly if he wanted to, and at first, I thought he might. Wu Suo Wei, clever and sly, treats it all like a game. A little cat-and-mouse, a little mischief—but he has no idea how utterly he’s unraveling Chi Cheng with every cheeky smile and defiant comeback.

Watching Chi Cheng transform is devastating and beautiful all at once. He goes from a man who could easily control Wu Suo Wei through fear… to someone who would drop everything just to protect him. From “you’re mine to toy with” to “you’re my everything.” The hands that once threatened now tremble when Wu Suo Wei is hurt. And yes, sometimes there’s still that gripping intensity—but it’s different. Full of passion, care, and a reverent kind of worship that makes your heart pound.

And then there’s the way he looks at Wu Suo Wei later on… It’s almost holy. His dominance didn’t disappear; it evolved into this fierce, protective devotion. He has the power to break, but he chooses to shield. To hold. To adore.

Wu Suo Wei… I have never been so enraptured by a character’s growth. Chi Cheng’s arc hit me like a truck, but Wu Suo wei rewired my brain chemistry. No exaggeration.

We start with him as the ultimate “straight man panic.” Dodging touches, rolling his eyes, acting disgusted—utterly convinced he’s untouchable. He treats Chi Cheng like another entitled, rich guy, certain he can’t be swayed. I believed him. I thought, okay, this will be one of those slow-burn, reluctant love stories.

But no. Slowly, subtly, he begins to crave what he pretends to hate. Touches stop feeling threatening and start feeling like home. The hands he used to push away, he leans into. And before you know it, he’s reaching for them himself.

Watching him go from “stay away” to climbing onto Chi Cheng’s back, cheek-to-cheek, grinning like a fool, is pure magic. The way he embraces his feelings, his desires, his identity—it’s so unapologetic, so full of pride and warmth. He stops hiding. He stops apologizing. He stops pretending.

He evolves from annoyance to reverent adoration. You see it in his softened gaze, the instinctive reaching, the gentle touches that speak volumes. And the way he loves Chi Cheng back is stunningly, wonderfully loud. He isn’t passive or shy; he’s active, radiant, shameless in his affection.

I could watch their journey a hundred times and still notice new micro-moments—the way his eyes change, the way he surrenders fully, joyfully, hopelessly.

The actors - oh my god. Ziyu and Tian Xuning didn’t just perform; they *inhabited* these roles. Ziyu’s vulnerability in Suowei, the insecurity, the subtle shifts of emotion—it’s flawless. Episode 19 alone proves his brilliance. And Tian Xuning… Tian embodies every nuance of Chi Cheng’s dominance and control. His precision, his heat, his emotional depth—it’s magnetic, authentic, and dangerously compelling. Episode 18 is his masterpiece.

Their synergy is what makes this unforgettable. Ziyu’s vulnerability amplifies Tian’s protectiveness. Tian’s intensity heightens Ziyu’s surrender. Every interaction hits harder, every moment lingers longer. They made this story feel real, tangible, impossible to forget.

I give this a 10. Not because it’s flawless, but because it *felt* perfect for me. I will always adore them. I will always miss them. I want to rewatch every scene just to feel that rush again.

love Wei wei and Chi Chwng relationship...but producing could have been better.

When I watched the first episode, I wasn't sold. The dabbing is terrible, but after a while, you will get used to it. Also, the production and editing are not great. The way they change scenes... sometimes I was lost, like, "What just happened?" But despite that, I was totally in love with them. I was so excited for the new episode.

I love how Wei Wei is slowly falling in love with Chi Cheng and their bridging. The storyline is great. And I am not surprised, as it's based on the novel of the autor Chai Ji Dan as the drama, Stay with Me, which is absolutely 100/10. To be honest, the Revenged love cannot compare to it in every aspect, maybe because they were on a tight budget and I think if the drama was produced in China, it would be much better quality, but I get that it could not have been because of the censorship.

The last episode felt very rushed, although I loved their moments together.

My comfort series.... I miss them

I personally love bl c-drama's, but sadly, most of the Bl once are heavily censored, idols can't meet each other, have to be discontinued or in the worst cases, the idols can't act anymore. For me Chinese is really comforting to hear and it makes me feel safe. When I started watching this series, I was honestly afraid that it was gonna be discontinued or censored. But luckily, only the ending did, as I heard... I'm not sure.

Anyways I love the whole story, the music and especially Zi yu's acting. My favourite animals are snakes, through watching the series I loved seeing the snakes all the time. I don't know why, but this has really become my comfort series. In real life, I see references everywhere, It's like I think about it 24/7.

Aside from that, I'm a huge fan of Zi yu, I just love him. I loved his acting.. but his music... AMAZING. I'm happy this series made him more popular, and the thing is, not only his most popular songs are good, he has a huge amount of good underrated songs, deffo check that out!

WATCH THIS MASTERPIECE!!!

I started watching revenged love as soon as it got aired because i got intrigued when i heard that china had made a bl and not a bromance after all these years... At first i didnt know i would end up liking the show so much but i did the acting and chemistry is honestly on top I've watched many many bl's from different companies and country and honesty i wasn't deceived by revenged love's chemistry and acting. They we're no boring episodes always new drama, new characters, new things to make us stress about but thats what i liked about the show its not like those shows who gets boring once the 2 ml starts dating plus the second couple Xiao Shuai and Cheng Yu we're sooo freacking adorable loved their story as well.. THE SONGS omg i freacking LOVEE the music of revenged love the intro song made by Ziyu is so good and the outro song made by Zhang Xuan as well they're both in my playlist since day 1 but all the others song had me sobbing especially ''somewhere in your eyes'' the song is soo good too had to add it on spotify as well but everytime i listen to it i can only think of Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei T-T. PLZ WATCH THIS MASTERPIECE wish i could erase my mind and watch it for the first time again will continue support the actors in they're future project i love them so much now T-T

oh my god.

I am at a loss for discrimination words for how I feel after finishing this series.

the actors. incredible.
the story. un predictable.
the chemistry between each couple. next level!
the amount of times I nearly did an eyerole at the what predictably would have been miscommunication. never happened. wei could have misunderstood chi so many times and vice versa. the mentality and self assurance of the Characters was such a breath of fresh air! there was alot of lack of communication but it worked in favor of the characters and their personalities.

things went so effortlessly yet I felt on edge and never knew what was coming next.

one question. little jelous one was left in the office. we never saw the snake again after wei recovered him from the trash. where did he go?

I want to see these 4 in another drama together. all of them acted beautifully together.

I waited until the end to watch this. it was not easy let me tell you. but I am glad I didn't watch while the show was active. this series was so very well executed. the details episode to episode where just next level.

where do I even go after this show. some times they are just so so good that what ever comes next will never compare!

I can’t believe 24 episodes of Revenge Love are over 😭😭 From the very first episode till the end, everyone loved it so much. We didn’t expect the last episode to come so fast 😭😭 Every Monday and Tuesday we were eagerly waiting for Revenge Love, and now… what do we do? 💔 We have other series, but this one is truly different — the storyline, the actors, the emotions, everything!

I deeply appreciate the main leads, supporting actors, crew members, editing team, acting, and script — all so perfect! The bromance between Dr. and Dabao also stole our hearts 🫂🫂 Everyone deserves endless love from us for giving such a masterpiece.

After Stay With Me, I watched Revenge Love, and it became my first Chinese BL drama — now it has a special place in my heart ❤️ I was planning to start Desire Love, but I just couldn’t because Revenge Love kept me hooked till the very end 😭 Lots of love to the whole team ❤️✨ Thank you for giving us a drama we will never forget.

REVENGE For This Couple

So there's so much that has happened surrounding this show, which is absolutely unacceptable. Unless some type of newer knowledge comes to the light, the treatment of these main actors has been insane. I'm glad they mostly seem okay now and seem to have maintained communication, but they still can't be seen together in public supposedly. It's just so sad to see and the amount of censorship surrounding this show too, ridiculous. It only lessened how great this show was, especially the final episode. They cut out so much and hearing what they cut just made me so angry! Art and filmmaking it expression, so this being censored just hits me personally as well being a filmmaker. Overall, the show was pretty good but it could've been so much more with scenes added back in, lack of censorship and bullying of the actors and potentially a special episode. Justice for Zi Yu and Tian Xu Ning! Who seem so sweet behind the scenes.
