Very cliché but enjoyable
Nice to watch, funny, fluffy romcom cliché to perfection which gives old dramas vibes. But despite the fact that I like the actors, it still lacks a certain pep to get you fully into it. I'll say maybe because the show was too predictable, still enjoyable nonetheless. I enjoyed the characters dynamics and how each remained true to their personality till the end. Also loved the friendships between the leads and the supporting characters. Was this review helpful to you?

Hui Won's mother can catch these hands
I really enjoyed this. I was looking for fun romcom and really liked this one! The characters were mostly enjoyable, and it has some genuine funny moments as well.I really liked Du Jun and was happy he wasn't your typical cold tsundere style CEO. I liked that we got to see his goofy and caring side right away. I loved seeing him with Se Hyeon as well, it was so cute! I really like Hui Won too! I love that we got see different sides of her including her internal struggles about whether to keep the baby or not, and even when she decided to keep the baby, her questioning if she would be a good mom or not. A lot of her struggles were really nice to see because I feel like they aren't topics brought to light very often in media. I love the two of them together as well!
Se Hyeon was my favorite character! I just loved her! I loved that she wasn't afraid to go against her mother for what is right. I loved Mi Ran, Min Uk, and the coworkers as well!
For characters I didn't like, obviously I didn't like Jeong Eum. She was awful. Even though I didn't like her, I will say she made a great villain. I liked that she turned herself in at the end too. Moving onto Hui Won's mother...literally fuck her. She was an awful and abusive mother, and I absolutely hate how she was just forgiven in the end. This was the biggest thing I didn't like about this show. She never admitted to being abusive, never realized she was awful to her daughter, never apologized...NOTHING!! AND YET SHE WAS FORGIVEN?! WHY?! The reason her being forgiven being because Hui Won is becoming a mother is the dumbest thing ever. She shouldn't be in Hui Won's life at all. She has no self-reflecting or character growth at all. I hated that she was forgiven so much.
I do wish they gave Hui Won a baby bump, but that's not super important. I loved the time jump so we could see how they were doing as parents as well as what everyone else is doing. Love that she was pregnant in the end again too!

FROM CLASSROOM TO BOARDROOM
DISCLAIMER: I'VE ALREADY READ THE MANHWA, AND EVERYTHING HERE IS MY HONEST THOUGHTS OF THE ADAPTATION DRAMA.While the original webtoon featured a school teacher, the drama shifts the setting to a high-stakes corporate environment. Jang Hui-won is a high-achieving career woman who has sworn off marriage due to her parents' bitter divorce. After a drunken one-night stand with Kang Doo-jun, a perfectionist chaebol heir, she discovers she is pregnant. Doo-jun, driven by a sense of responsibility and his own family trauma, proposes a 'shotgun marriage', leading to a reverse-romance where the commitment precedes the feelings.
Furthermore, Choi Jin-hyuk and Oh Yeon-seo bring a seasoned, 'grown-up' energy to the roles. Their chemistry is strongest in the quiet, domestic moments as they navigate the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy. The production value is bright and bubbly, often using creative visual flourishes (like 360- degree time freezes) that pay homage to its webton roots. Unlike many rom-coms that drag out the 'will-they-won't-they', the final episodes deliver a heartwarming payoff, including a romantic proposal and a glimpse into their life as a family.
However, this adaptation deviates from the original manhwa. The lighthearted 'fluff' of the manhwa is often replaced with heavier subplots, including a tragic backstory for the male lead and corporate scheming involving an 'evil' sister-in-law. The drama occasionally struggles to balance its breezy rom-com roots with 'makjang' elements. The second male lead and certain family rivals receive significant screen time, which felt distracted from the main couple.
In conclusion, Positively Yours, in terms of the adaptation, is actually not bad, even though it's a little bit different from the manhwa. In my opinion, watch the drama first instead of the manhwa, so you don't get disappointed, but if you want the original creation, then read the manhwa cuz it's really good. So I'll recommend bothof them.

JUST THINK OF THIS AS AN ALTERNATE UNIVERSE
I read the manhwa first before watching this adaptation. And yes, just like many other people have mentioned, the two versions are different—there are actually quite a lot of changes, and some of them are very noticeable. Certain scenes feel altered, some character portrayals give off a slightly different impression, and a few details don’t match what I originally experienced in the manhwa.Because of that, instead of constantly comparing every difference, I’ve decided it’s better to simply treat this adaptation as if it takes place in an alternate universe. That way, I can enjoy it for what it is, without letting the changes distract me too much from the overall experience.

A predictable but enjoyable romcom
I had mixed feelings going into this one as the reviews were very mixed. I went in expecting not very much and was pleasantly surprised. The FL and ML had good chemistry. The love triangle was short which was great as some of them drag on to the point of being uncomfortable and/or boring. The sister-in-law was brilliantly acted. I also really enjoyed the ML's mother's acting - so funny.
Overall it was a good light watch, reminding me of the other recent show, Dynamite Kiss.

Disappointed
Disclaimer: I’ve read the ManhwaI was really excited for this drama because Positively Yours is one of my favorite manhwas. When I heard it was getting a drama adaptation, I had been waiting for it for so long. But after watching the first episode, I was honestly disappointed. They completely changed the female lead’s career because she was supposed to be a teacher. They also made the CEO completely different from the manhwa. In Positively Yours he was confident and straightforward, but in the drama he has low confidence and feels like a totally different character. They also added a second male lead that wasn’t necessary and even added an evil sister in law, when in the manhwa he didn’t have one at all. In the original story he didn’t even have guilt over a brother dying or some reason he didn’t want to marry. They just added so much unnecessary drama when this could have been a cute, fluffy series, but instead they tried to dramatize everything. I just had really high expectations for this drama, and I feel like if they had stuck closer to the original storyline it could’ve been so much better.

A great light watch!
I’m honestly surprised by the low rating of this one - my ratings usually are pretty close to the general ratings in MDL.The story is developed around a few key messages - relationship can start at any point, sometimes life can throw you a ball, which makes you question all your believes, and sometimes doing the right thing is worth it.
After Dynamite Kiss I see a move towards more carrying, more approachable and less shouty protagonists. I totally enjoy the turned down testosterone and macho bossy males characters. I loved the journey of those two. I loved the strong sister in law - she did a fabulous job!! They could have over cooked the mother story, develop more the friends relationship, the accident - but they didn’t and it made the drama more balanced for me.
Kudos to the writers that they kept it as it is and to the director that drove the story line like this. What I’m most grateful for is that this one has quite high rewatch value for me, it’s one of those feel good stories that can make you smile.

Feminist Wish-Fulfillment Fantasy
Positively Yours sells a feminist wish-fulfillment fantasy: pregnancy changes nothing, the rich CEO becomes endlessly patient, and a second man keeps waiting despite knowing the child isn’t his. Two single men competing for a pregnant woman — not as conflict, but as convenience.By episode 5, the story refuses to acknowledge real consequences. Rejections repeat without evolution, the love triangle feels artificial, and characters stop behaving like adults. This isn’t heightened melodrama — it’s reality bent out of shape so the romance can keep going.

The Magic of a Fantastic Support Cast
This is a classic style feel good rom-com, that is entertaining to watch. The lead actors did really well playing their parts, but what pushed this drama into a solid 9 to me was the support actors and the editing. The support actors were so funny and made what could have been a standard rom-com into so much more! The editor did a great job at split screening facial expressions to capture every quirky moment. Even the mentally deranged antagonist (the actress was very convincing) you just feel pity for, because she is missing out on all the love/support from friends, family and coworkers. The spice level was decently average for a rom-com, but the drama itself is a solid recommendation from this drama watcher for comedy, romance and a just enough angst to wonder how it will be resolved. Was this review helpful to you?

Interesting
After a long break I see a typical korean drama with good act, screen play and casting. Please watch this drama and it definitely won't disappoint you. It's a one line story but they made it with interesting way. Both the artists are playing very good and expressive. Making me eager to watch the next episode. Was this review helpful to you?
ABSOLUTELY F NO
Contemplated watching this show till the end just because, but i just reliased no one is forcing me to continue this. As someone who didn't read the webtoon and just watched this drama cause i am a fan of the FL everything in this show after episode 2 is just not worth it. To be frank i know it's only February but we may just have our top contender for worst korean drama of the year. Because how do u mess up such an interesting direct storyline like Unexpected pregnancy and One night stand. This is literally one of the easiest tropes to make because u don't even gotta do much just literally show us how it happened and how they decide to handle the situation. The thing that baffles me even more is u literally had a direct Webtoon to follow that people loved so it's not like u had to use ur head to come up with new details u literally quite simply had to follow the book. And why is our female lead dressed like a Grandmother? Do the writers think women in their 30s and 40s give up on style once they reach that age because why even the Female leads best friend and the Male leads niece are outdressing her i would even go as far as to say the Sister in Law was outmogging her in style each episode. How do u turn one of the most beautiful actress in Korea into a frumpy Ungodly sight? Poor girl was using her face card and had nothing else to offer. And as for the ml i don't even have an actual opinion on him that's how boring he was for me absolutely bland stereotypical annoying mess in fact everyone in this show was just annoying especially the sister in law i mean if u want to create a villian create one with an actual reasonably reason to hate u would have been better if it was the ML mother or Father or someone else rather than her. Also why are Korean dramas obsessed with the idea any man around u especially ones who have been with u seen u were little are automatically in love with you? Same as dynamite kiss. Why are Platonic male and female friendships some sort of rare commodity tbh i would be pissed if my friend whose had years of time and didn't confess says something when i finally get a man in my life because tf no should have done that longgg timee ago I'm already taken. I don't even know what to say from the terrible domestic ratings, incompetent writing and very conservative fan base this show is just an absolute complete mess.I am of the opinion u could gather 5 random users on this platform and they would create a better storyline than this but well whats done is done.
Also shout out to the sexiest messiest loudest most dramatic conservative comment section i have ever witnessed on this platform. I thought i had witnessed it all but well this comment section proved me wrong some of yall are really stupid.
A woman can and should always have the right to choose what to do with her body argue with the walll.

This Drama Should Be Called "Inspired by" NOT Adapted!
I gave this drama a chance even after they changed Jang Hee Won's job, because I love the original webtoon. The critical issue highlighted in the webtoon is about a teacher who ends up in a shotgun wedding, however they changed into another classic office romance.
They also change Kang Do Joon's life by adding some traumatic past, and the moment I saw Kang Do Joon's throws fit, I'm not longer acknowledged that this drama is an adaption from webtoon.
Too bad they changed the story and the character too much til there is not a single main point from the webtoon included in it.
I don't know if none webtoon readers will enjoy the drama, but if you are liking the drama, i'm not advice you to read the webtoon before the drama ended to spoil the fun ^_^
