Go watch Sweetheart Service instead
It started ok. I get the premise. And I'm the weirdo who likes dom/sub relationships in a series. (My Personal Weatherman, LITA, Thundercloud Rainstorm) But after the first episode, it just got more and more incomprehensible. The writers clearly don't understand BDSM at all. I can tell and I'm not that well versed myself. It a hot mess, y'all!Production was bad. Script was bad. Directing was bad. Just bad bad bad.
And yet, somehow I liked the lead actors enough to want to see more of them! There's something sweet and adorable about those two! The fact that they survived this madness for me is a testament to their chemistry and charm. But this is otherwise comically bad.

A beautiful train wreck
Ok maybe beautiful is over selling it. If they would of taken another couple of months on the story and either training on editing and audio or just found someone who knew what they were doing this show would have been amazing. I loved the actors in sweat heart service so I know the actor are good but that can only carry a show so far. It was a big old dumpster fire of a mess but I enjoyed watching it burn even though it did get almost unbearable at times. Once in awhile you just need a really badly executed show to remind you how amazing the other ones are. I give them all props for trying but the people who approved this for release should not be given that job ever again.Was this review helpful to you?
It's a bit of a disaster
It could of been good but the production team failed. There's no other way to describe how this show then that.The only redeeming thing about it is the actors Kim Hyeon Seo and Jung Myeong Cheol. It's clear they tried their best but equally clear that there was no direction for what their characters are suppose to be. Kim Hae Jun and Han Jae Hun where given no room to develop and the plot was pushed forward with voiceovers. There where a few scenes where Kim and Jung had actual dialogue to act out which were good but it only magnified the fact that everything else sucked. I honestly think if someone who knows how to actually edit videos where to cut it down, fix all the mistakes and reshuffle the scenes to make sense it could work.
However I did find it captivating in a "can't look away from a sinking ship" sort of way. I read comments that it was bad and had to know myself and while it was as bad as everyone said couldn't stop myself from finishing it. So give it a try and maybe B-BL's will be a thing like B-movies.

I made myself finish it. I got to episode seven and I'm like, I have to finish this. I just can't not finish it now. Am I proud that I did it no... At first I was like, okay there's some kind of storyline.Maybe, but then it just kind of went out the window, like I genuinely don't know what happened lol. We went from a contract relationship to I'm obsessed with him, at least thats what I'm guessing that's where we went. Lord, can we talk about the kissing!! I don't think I've ever seen such an uncomfortable and painful looking kissing in my life. I mean, I get that we were going for like I assume a dom submissive relationship, but I didn't like the way they did this. I don't like the way he treated him like a dog, it felt like at times, or a child by making him write his name over and over. it wasn't romantic or sexy by any means. It just was not good, I'm sorry. Then I found out there's a season 2, and I'm like, why?! Will I watch It? I may watch episode one just to see if it's any better but I swear to god. What type of BS is this
This is type of bs that i don't understand why it got a greenlight to be produced, if they wanted it to be sexy they failed, if they wanted it to be as parody, they succeeded bcz it was pmo so bad and u rage watched this just to include it on my sh*t list show of 2025 lol anyway dont waste your time on this oneWas this review helpful to you?
Great actibg shame on editing
The boys did great on this series but ut was totally let down by who ever did editing and sound....the sound was so off kissing sound not synced, and in other areas too so ut was distracting i was thinking had they cut something out was there an uncut version but no just terrible editing, also on editing the shirt was unbuttoned then it was buttoned then unbuttoned again , some of the kissing scenes were repeated from other angles , this was just all over , but it was nothing to with the acting that was spot on , and believable, so if you can get passed this it was actually okWas this review helpful to you?
Its so bad its funny
We laughed so hard we almost cried. We probably should have cried. Why did we watch it? You know the expression watching a car crash in slow motion and not being able to look away... that's what just happened. I deeply concerned that someone who has never watched BL will see this and think this is normal. Its something else. But credit where credit is due it was a memorable experience and gave us something to talk about. Now if only I could forget.Was this review helpful to you?

So bad it’s actually almost good ?
This must have been the lowest of low budget lol. The sounds work is horrendous, there’s some plot holes and the story is presented in a convoluted manner that is unintentionally not in chronological order at times.But I couldn’t stop watching, like we sometimes can’t stop ourselves from watching a car crash or bar brawl. The drama is short enough that it was fun to just hate watch it til the end.
Like, WTF are they doing in the classroom in broad daylight?
What’s with some of the chopped cuts and slow movements? And the the mediocre acting from the whole cast? 💀
Is the sub even enjoying himself? He’s always grunting in pain instead of moaning (or is that what the noises he makes supposed to be ?). And why does the Dom smiles like he’s stopping himself from bursting into laughter during the smut scenes ? And why do they kiss as if they’re trying to fight? 😂
Also don’t get me started on the non-accurate & non-consensual portrayal of a BDSM dynamic. No safe words, no soft and hard limits, no explicit consent, no aftercare… That’s an abusive relationship, not a BDSM one.
The leads have cute moments together tho, and the base concept of the plot is interesting and had potential. I also liked all the plants in the house this was filmed at. That’s about it.
I mainly watched this season 1 because I want to watch season 2 for the 3rd male lead, as I just watched another drama with that actor and found his acting pretty good. Plus S2 has a better rating than S1, which intrigued me, as it doesn’t happen often with sequels.
If you just let go of expectations and watch this drama as if it’s a spoof comedy of the “50 shades of gray” bdsm genre, then it’s actually a fun watch. I laughed the whole way trough at how bad and ridiculous it all was lol.

Smut for Smuts sake
Smut (obnoxious sexual) scenes for the sake of cheap thrills is not what a true movie watcher is after. Sex with no substance or in this case plot is not erotic or entertaining It's cheap!!!! I feel sorry for these actors cause they are beautiful to look at but this series is doing them no favors. Absolutely NO STORY
I would have given up on this, already, if the brevity of each episode wasn’t a PLUS!The lack of storyline, the overabundance of kissing scenes, which lack any, and all, eroticism, or give any feelz; all add up to a huge “nothing burger” of a “series,” if you want to call it that. I doubt the last 5 episodes will help redeem itself, but I’ll stay, anyway.
I’m sad that a Korean BL production decided to give us, the fans, nothing of value, here. Highly disappointing.

Makes no sense
Episodes are way too short, 3 are out by this point and nothing happenes.Its starts with 2 random guys who are somehow forming, i guess, a s*x contract. 3 episodes in and nothing else happened, theres literally no dialogue in this show.

What a mess
I don't know who was the genius editing this series, it's just a mess. Haphazardly put together story line. Makes no sense at all. I don't get the point of these 10 min episodes in Korean BL world lately. They are just mishmashes of little glimpses into the BL world. Ep 1 starts off with a little back story of the characters, but then just slams into the sloppiest forced kiss where only one party is enjoying themselves. ep 2 is even more chopped up than last episode.Was this review helpful to you?
