I could have love this show more if they adress it. But Niran and Cheewa are very sweet together. I love them but didn't like the show and didn't care about what happen most of the time..

Don't bother watching
I had high hopes for this production as I always love a nerdy love story, but it was just disappointing all around. It feels unfinished. We only had one couple and ironically it still doesn't feel like enough. I don’t think this could be fixed by making a season two either. There was so much content but not enough chemistry scenes. They only got a kiss the last few seconds of the show and it didn’t have any build up. I am fine with it being the last episode but make it have some meaning. I mean they kissed like it was there first after it said they had been dating for years. Why was it in slow motion? I would have rather it be a typical high school show and had no kiss at all. Niran was having a whole arc with judo and it felt like it had been smashed to pieces by the last episode. He just ended up where he began. Yes, he did get an emotional restart with his mom, but was it really even needed? Multiple times he said “my mom left me” while she was right there the whole time! They should have hardened that and made it become a conflict of why Niran wouldn’t date Cheewa right after begging to like him. The ending was abrupt as well, it just told me where everyone ended up. I liked it in Legally Blonde, not here. I wish there had been someone in the writing room that knew what they were doing with this material to make it better. They could have had such well rounded ideas. Arcs would have succeeded and endings would have been satisfying. Honestly, I thought having no second couple would be fine because the main couple was doing good but I think the show would have been better with two couples. It would have added dimension. Anyway, the only redeeming qualities was Sea’s character, Cheewa. He played it perfectly. No shade to Keen because he did well too but his character was so badly written nobody could have fixed him.Was this review helpful to you?
This show was out of this world adorable!!
I absolutely adored this show! This was so cute and I loved all the characters. I can't lie, I only started this because I saw Aston was in it, but I am so glad I watched this. I did love seeing Aston whenever he showed up of course, but I really looked forward to the new episodes every week!I loved Niran and Cheewa as well as all of their friends. I loved seeing Niran's growth throughout the show of figuring out more of who he is as well as dealing with his family issues. Cheewa was my favorite character in the show! He was so smart, funny, and so forward and I loved that so much. Seeing these two grow closer over the show was so sweet. I believe this is my first time watching SeaKeen in something and I really adored them. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for what they do in the future!
This is one of those real feel-good shows that are just so nice to watch. The story was entertaining, the characters were great, and you could tell all the actors really enjoyed doing this show together. My only complaint about the show is the finale felt a little rushed to me, but other than that, I loved it.

Not your typical school BL
I almost skip this seeing it's another school BL, but watch it when I see it's SeaKeen!I was laughing so much throughout the show ! It's so funny, loving and so pure. The joke is so wicked, I didn't know a nerd joke can be so funny. Of course it helps that he's so cute!
That said, it's not just fluff. This show has portrayed deep emotions, providing space for healing. What Niran goes through is so relatable to many of us, regardless of our age. We face crossroads in our life and we might feel lost, and that's okay. Eventually, he fell in love with Judo again, knowing he had never left it, except that he has now left behind the burden he carried with it. The part on his inner child healing is especially deep and beautiful.
As for Cheewa, he showed so much passion in astronomy. Just like Niran says, his eyes sparkles whenever he talks about it. He is like a true north inviting us to follow our passion and our light within.
That's my personal interpretation of the show. It might land differently for you as I believe each character would meet each viewer differently. Overall, this show carries deep meaning on life while providing a kick-ass comedy. That's rare and much appreciated!
I had my good share of much needed cries and laugh, leaving me completely recharged.
Thank you to all the casts and GMMTV!

Did you know? This is s comfort show, indeed.
Weirdo 101 is indeed another GMMTV comfort show. It follows the footsteps of their typical high school drama, but this time round, a nerd that loves the space and a judo master. Personally this show gives a comfort feeling, in which it doesn’t go wrong with its storyline. It does have ups, and it does have its down, but they are all within the safe zone.I think for me, its also SeaKeen’s acting, where i would love to give kudos to them, seeing them from Only Boo to Head 2 Head and now this, they did improve tremendously. My only issue with the acting/casting is Aungbao, which have the most area to improve in. Probably is the character that he holds, just doesn’t seem natural. As for the rest, i think they all did a really good job.
Will definately watch this again if i need a comfort show.

the subtitles are funnier than the series
I wanna give review to the bl series weirdo 101 2026Here are my points
The series is really good and family friendly
It's slowburn highschool romance
Green flag top
Ratable story as me because I also didn't know what I liked and what I wanted to do when I grow up and like niran my parents also fight all the time so it's really relatable for me and I cried so hard while watching this series because it's something that happens to me all the time because I have parents with unhealthy relationships
It has a really soft romance and a kissing scene in the end which is a really good thing because they didn't show us 2 high school boys kissing and it ended really really well and everyone was happy, that's what we call a happy ending.
People who are saying this series is not good and boring they probably watch bl series for nc scenes
I'll give this series a 10/10
Because it is a slowburn highschool romance they are probably not gonna show us gangsters mafia or zombies, if you like High school romance then watch it and you won't feel bored but if you want some action this series is probably not for you
So pick wisely and don't blame the series

Give this some time, it'll grow on you...and yes, Keen-Sea are really magical when together
This show is indeed like gravity, you are not particularly impressed or thrilled with it at first, but it keeps pulling you nevertheless...I was so happy to see my pookies Keen-Sea back with a show, but was borderline disappointed with the first two episodes where the script seems rather bland......but episode 3 was a game changer....I upped my score and will keep watching...this drama is a grower, give it some time...🥰BL-Needle Score: 8.5 High BL-ness
Keen-Sea really are magical when together, and I just changed my review after episode 3....I am particularly impressed by Sea....he's really acing the nerd-neurodivergent-kind younger guy in love - act....and the ways that we see Niran very slowly melt away to Cheewa's transparent attempts at hitting on him, is plain adorable.....
Verdict: Yes, watch!

Life Finds Eternity Among the Stars
WEIRDO-101 is a first-love story, but what stayed with me most was Niran learning how to live with the hurt left by his parents’ divorce. He wanted his mother, his father, and himself to remain a family. His mother’s happiness cannot simply erase that wish. I struggled with her telling him that he always comes first, especially after brushing aside his news that he has a boyfriend with “I’ll hear about that later.” To me, her words and actions did not quite match.
Niran’s ability to stand beside her at her wedding belongs to him. He has worked through his pain; that does not mean everything that hurt him has been resolved. Cheewa’s presence gives him the reassurance of being deeply important to someone, and I found that quietly moving.
I also appreciated Niran taking a year to reconsider his future. Rediscovering his love of judo makes his next step feel like his own choice. He and Cheewa can move forward together while pursuing their individual interests.
Their romance is sweet, but it is the place they gradually make for each other in their lives that makes it meaningful.
Cheewa speaks of gravity drawing them together. I like to think of it as fate: among countless stars, they found each other.
Cheewa means “life,” and Niran means “eternity.” Life looked up at the universe and found eternity. That is the feeling this lovely series left with me.

A cute series on its own, but...
Ever since the pilot trailer came out, I've been really excited for this one. And I really got hooked on it even after just watching the first episode, so much that I searched up the novel and started reading it right away. I got completely in love with the storyThat's why it was a bit dissapointing comparing it to the series, especially after watching not just the first but also the second episode of the series. I think the casting is perfect for this one I wouldn't complain about that one, but it feels like they water the story down a bit.
I'm a bit sad about the scene where Thara, Cheeta and Niran are in the astronomy club sitting on the ground. In the series only Thara rest his head on Niran's shoulders, but in the novel Niran also fall asleep and rest his head on Cheeta's shoulders. It would've been such a cute scene if they follow the novel. I really don't get it why would they change this?? I get it they can't completely follow the novel they must change some things, and I really don't mind when they change or skip something "unimportant" but when they change scenes like these it really gets me thinking what's on the screenplay writers' mind.
And the cafeteria scene in ep2?? It was cute but why is Cheeta going for the hug and not Niran pulling him into the hug. This is what I'm really missing in the series that they try to portray it as if only Cheeta was going for Niran. But in the novel you can tell that Niran is also whipped since day one and he's much bolder. His character still has so much depth in the series so I'm not complaining the script writers still did a good job. It's just that it could be still a bit better
Okay so my final conclusion is if you're thinking about reading the novel right now, DON'T. Don't do it while watching the series. The novel is literally a masterpiece, and the series is also really good on its own but my tip is that you should read the novel after finishing the series. Also please note this is my opinion only after seeing the first 2 episodes. This series definitely has a lot of potential, can't wait to see what the full picture end up being

Comfort series alert!!!
Weirdo-101 is honestly one of those series that pulls you in so effortlessly. The story, the characters, the emotions everything has me so invested. 🥹It's funny and emotional...The way I relate with niran i can't explain and ohh to have someone like cheewa rooting for you and being proud of you. Seakeen always delivers whether it's acting or singing. After Only Boo, Hi by my luck and Head to Head this is another masterpiece by seakeen!!. For anyone who thinks that this types of series are soo common and boring, there's no plot🗣️I can only say one thing "You saw common tropes, I saw peak emotion and chemistry. We are not the same"!!!Btw I love seakeen My gravity babies 🥹🩷Was this review helpful to you?

The main highlight of this series: Keen's acting
As someone who read the novel first, this series is pretty much the adaptation I’ve been hoping for!! Keen’s performance as Niran really changed everything.... I absolutely love his style—acting all cool on the outside but actually being fragile on the inside. His acting during the crying scenes was amazing t__t. Sea’s performance as a nerd who gets straight to the point was also sooo goodIn terms of the plot, I think it could use a little more polish, but it’s actually already good. Maybe there are a few scenes where the editing is a bit rough, and the music/sound design doesn’t quite fit at the beginning of the episodes. But please stick with it—the series just gets better and better as it goes on t__t. I hope it has a great ending and follows them all the way through college!!
