Ahn Bo Hyun and Cha Seo Won go from friends to rivals in 'Spring Fever'

Ahn Bo Hyun and Cha Seo Won showcase sharply contrasting charms in Spring Fever.

Spring Fever follows Yun Bom (Lee Joo Bin), a teacher who moves from Seoul to the rural area of Sinsu, carrying scars that run deep, and Seon Jae Gyu (Ahn Bo Hyun), a popular guy in the village with a quirky charm and big heart.

Ahn Bo Hyun takes on the role of Seon Jae Gyu, an interesting man who stirs up the village with his outrageous behavior. Cha Seo Won plays Choi Yi Jun, an elite lawyer boasting an impeccable career, who radiates an aura opposite to Jae Gyu's free-spirited and tough energy.

The stills give a glimpse of their vibes. Jae Gyu reveals his rough charm with a tight short-sleeved T-shirt and a tattoo on one arm, while Yi Jun emphasizes his cool, calculated persona with his sleek hair and a perfectly fitted suit. The stark contrast between the two characters conveys their polar-opposite charms.

Jae Gyu and Yi Jun were friends in the past, but their friendship suffered a rift. Curiosity grows over what caused them to turn in different ways.

Spring Fever premieres on January 5. The K-drama will be streaming on Prime Video.
