We Are All Trying Here has unveiled stills featuring Go Youn Jung and Choi Won Young.
We Are All Trying Here follows the journey of Hwang Dong Man (Koo Kyo Hwan), who, being the only one whose life is not going well among a group of accomplished friends, is driven to anguish and madness by envy and jealousy.
The K-drama stars Koo Kyo Hwan, Go Youn Jung, Oh Jung Se, Kang Mal Geum, and Park Hae Joon, among others.
One of the key points to watch is the synergy between Hwang Dong Man, who has spent 20 years chasing his dream of debuting as a film director while battling feelings of worthlessness, and film producer Byun Eun Ah, who recognizes his sincerity and value with her sharp eye for scripts. However, there is a character who keeps a wary eye on Byun Eun Ah: Choi Dong Hyun, the CEO of Choi Film, where she is employed.
Byun Eun Ah is an inspiring woman who, after graduating from high school, joined the company as a contract office assistant and worked her way up to become a full-time producer. Her fresh perspective, untainted by the industry's conventional norms, earned her the nickname of "The Axe" who tears apart scripts, and at one point, she was so powerful at Choi Film that directors would line up to present their scripts, bypassing CEO Choi Dong Hyun.
However, this exceptional talent ultimately becomes a double-edged sword. Feeling inferior in the face of Byun Eun Ah's influence that surpasses his own, Choi Dong Hyun begins to subtly criticize and keep her in check. The stills capture Choi Dong Hyun's cold aura as he summons Byun Eun Ah to his office and delivers blunt, cutting remarks.

The production team stated, "Choi Dong Hyun is a unique character who provides a peculiar sense of pleasure by revealing his desires and values without any restraint," adding, "The tension of the series will be driven by the dynamics between Choi Won Young's seasoned performance as the 'ruthless CEO' and Go Youn Jung's deep, layered acting as she struggles to preserve her own worth under his pressure."
We Are All Trying Here is set to premiere on April 18. The K-drama is reported to stream on Netflix.
