From the U.S. to Taiwan, 'Weak Hero' takes over Netflix worldwide upon Season 2's release
Veteran actor Huh Joon Ho shares his thoughts following the conclusion of Treasure Island.
On April 14th, Huh Joon Ho's agency, Story J Company, revealed his concluding remarks for his role as the influential figure Yeom Jang Seon in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama Treasure Island, along with his handwritten message.
Huh Joon Ho expressed his gratitude, saying, "First, I sincerely thank the viewers who watched Treasure Island until the end and showed great interest." He continued, "Yeom Jang Seon was a character I personally wanted to move away from quickly, but thanks to all the love from viewers, I believe I was able to run through it well."
He expressed his gratitude, saying, "I want to thank the director, writer, fellow actors, and all the staff members of Treasure Island for their hard work." Concluding his remarks, he said, "I will soon return with another project."
Huh Joon Ho will next be seen in the upcoming Netflix series Mercy for None, scheduled for release in the second quarter.
Treasure Island tells the story of a man who hacks into an account holding 2 trillion won of political slush funds to survive. In a turn of events, he is killed by an elite figure. However, the hacker comes back alive, with all his memories lost.
Treasure Island is available to stream on Disney+.
