Choi Won Young confirmed to star alongside Nam Ji Hyun and Moon Sang Min in 'Dear Bandit'
Renowned actor Jo Woo Jin will appear in the new Signal season.
On February 25, media outlets reported that Jo Woo Jin will make a special cameo appearance in the upcoming tvN K-drama The Second Signal. According to reports, the actor is already preparing to film for his cameo. The possible character that he will portray was also not revealed.
The production company Ubon Company responded to the circulating reports. According to them, "Joo Woo Jin will appear in The Second Signal. Please check the details of his role through the broadcast."
The Second Signal will be the third upcoming K-drama of Jo Woo Jin. He will also star in the upcoming JTBC thriller comedy K-drama The Good Man with Lee Dong Wook, Lee Sung Kyung, Ryu Hye Young, Oh Na Ra, Park Hoon, and Yoo Jae Myung.
He will also work with Kim Soo Hyun, Jo Bo Ah, Yoo Jae Myung, Choi Gyu Ri, Bang Hyo Rin, and Kim Hye Eun in the upcoming Disney+ original series Knock Off.
Jo Woo Jin is also set to lead the upcoming films Mantis and Boss.
The Second Signal will follow the events of the first season. The story revolves around detectives from the past and present who communicate through a walkie-talkie and solve long-term unsolved cases.
The upcoming K-drama will be led by Lee Je Hoon, Kim Hye Soo, Jo Jin Woong, and the newly added cast, actor
Ahn Jae Hong.
Writer Kim Eun Hee (Revenant, Jirisan, and Kingdom), who created the first season will be returning to the new season. She will be working with director Ahn Tae Jin (The Night Owl).
The Second Signal will reportedly premiere in 2026. It will have a total of 8 episodes and will exclusively premiere on tvN.
