The Divorce Insurance unveils Lee Joo Bin's first stills from the upcoming tvN weekday drama.

The Divorce Insurance follows an insurance company's product development team as they introduce a divorce insurance product designed to address one of the biggest modern-day crises — divorce. The K-drama offers a relatable and heartfelt story of adults striving to live 'their own way' while navigating life's challenges.

Lee Joo Bin takes on the role of Kang Han Deul, an insurance underwriter who undergoes a complete transformation after her divorce. Determined to become a different person, Kang Han Deul joins No Gi Jun (Lee Dong Wook) in his Divorce Insurance task force team and gains the courage to take a step forward.

Having endured her marriage by believing that simply enduring was the answer, she ends it and steps into life as a divorce rookie. With advice from her close friend Jo Ah Young (EXY), Kang Han Deul transforms herself into a bold and outspoken woman. She joins Plus Insurance as an underwriter and takes on a new challenge by applying for the Divorce Insurance task force team.

Lee Joo Bin shared her thoughts on choosing the project, saying, "The fresh concept and unique [story] development were interesting. It's a work that blends humor and seriousness in just the right balance." She added, "Hearing that the director and senior actors were involved made me want to be part of it even more."

She continued, "The unpredictable storyline and character descriptions were fresh. I also liked how the various characters in each episode felt realistic while still maintaining a comedic touch."

Lee Joo Bin compared Kang Han Deul to a reed that does not break even in the strongest storms. She explained, "Han Deul is someone who has a habit of putting others first and being considerate." She added, "Her charm lies in her effort to see situations from a positive perspective and never losing her warmth and kindness toward others."

She also described Kang Han Deul as "a character whose quirkiness emerges when she's serious, which makes her adorable."

She further shared, "Among all the characters, I think Han Deul is the most realistic. I wanted to portray her serious side through comedy."

The Divorce Insurance is coming on March 31. News about the K-drama's global OTT service is yet to come.
