Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
Lee Jun Hyuk and Kang Han Na are officially reuniting after seven years.
On November 12, media outlets reported that Lee Jun Hyuk and Kang Han Na will make a special cameo appearance in the upcoming K-drama The Remarried Empress.
Both the agencies of Lee Jun Hyuk and Kang Han Na responded to the reports. According to Lee Jun Hyuk's agency ACE Factory, "Lee Jun Hyuk will take part in the upcoming K-drama The Remarried Empress. He will portray the role of Wharton III."
Kang Han Na's agency Beyond J also shared, "It is confirmed that Kang Han Na will make a cameo in the new Disney+ K-drama The Remarried Empress."
This will be the reunion of Lee Jun Hyuk and Kang Han Na. In 2019, the two starred together in the tvN series Designated Survivor: 60 Days alongside Ji Jin Hee, Son Suk Ku, Huh Joon Ho, and Choi Yoon Young.
This will be the fourth upcoming K-drama of Lee Jun Hyuk. He will also join the new series Awakening, The Art of Sarah, and The Winner of the Lottery Will Go to Work.
Meanwhile, Kang Han Na will first greet viewers before the year ends through the K-drama Cashero. She will work alongside Lee Jun Ho, Kim Hye Joon, Kim Byung Chul, Kim Hyang Gi, and Lee Chae Min.
The Remarried Empress will tell the story of Navier, the perfect empress of the Eastern Empire. After discovering that her husband, Sovieshu, the emperor of the Eastern Empire, was cheating, she divorced him. She then sought an opportunity to become an empress elsewhere and married Heinrey, the emperor of the Western Empire. The K-drama will base its story on the web novel by the same name, Alpha Tart.
Shin Min Ah, Ju Ji Hoon, Lee Jong Suk, and Lee Se Young are confirmed to lead the upcoming K-drama.
The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of director Jo Soo Won (My Happy Ending, Today's Webtoon, Pinocchio) and writer Yeo Ji Na (The Uncanny Counter and The Man Who Can't Get Married).
Lee Jun Hyuk will portray the role of Wharton III, the older brother of Lee Jong Suk's character Heinrey. On the other hand, Kang Han Na will portray the role of Krista, the wife of Wharton III. She is also the childhood friend and first love of Lee Jong Suk's character.
The Remarried Empress will reportedly premiere in 2026, and it will exclusively air on Disney+. The series will have a total of 10 episodes.
