Kim Sae Ron's posthumous film 'Everyday, We' confirmed to premiere in 2026
UKISS member Lee Jun Young's next K-drama will possibly be a novel-based series.
On August 26, media outlet Sports World reported that Lee Jun Young has been picked to lead the upcoming K-drama New Employee Chairman Kang.
New Employee Chairman Kang will tell the story of a Chairman of the company who swaps souls with an intern because of an accident. The story will be depicted from the web novel of the same name, written by Sang Yeong (the same writer of Reborn Rich).
The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of director Go Hye Jin (The Light in Your Eyes) and writers Kim Soon Ok (The Penthouse: War in Life) and Hyun Ji Min (Pandora: Beneath the Paradise).
Lee Jun Young will portray CEO Kang Yong Ho, a highly successful businessman ranked 10th in his field. In the story, he swaps lives with professional soccer player Hwang Jun Hyun, whose world is centered entirely on the sport.
New Employee Chairman Kang will reportedly air on JTBC in 2026.

2025 is a busy year for Lee Jun Young. The actor starred in five K-dramas.
He was one of the main leads of the K-drama Melo Movie. He worked alongside Choi Woo Shik, Park Bo Young, Jeon So Nee, Kim Jae Wook, and Cha Woo Min.
He also appeared in the hit Netflix original K-dramas When Life Gives You Tangerines and Weak Hero Class 2. He also made a special appearance in The Queen Who Crowns.
If Lee Jun Young confirms his casting, this will be his follow-up work after the series Pump Up the Healthy Love, which concluded in June. In the K-drama, Lee Jun Young worked alongside APINK's Jung Eun Ji, Lee Mi Do, Lee Seung Woo, Park Sung Yun, and Lee Ji Hye.
