tvN drops new teaser for Undercover Miss Hong.

Undercover Miss Hong follows Hong Geum Bo (Park Shin Hye), an elite supervisor for the Financial Supervisory Service, who goes undercover as a 20-year-old entry-level employee at a securities firm after detecting suspicious fund flows.

The teaser captures the image of Hong Geum Bo, a woman who will stir up undercurrents in the Yeouido financial district in 1997. A fresh-faced rookie employee with a lovely bob haircut, lively styling, and a soft blush on her cheeks introduces herself, saying, " Hello. I'm Hong Jang Mi, twenty years old." As she sits alongside her roommates Ko Bok Hui (Ha Yoon Kyung), Kang No Ra (Choi Ji Su), and Kim Mi Suk (Kang Chae Young), flickers of doubt cross their faces. This is followed by scenes of her boldly charging forward with uncontrollable energy — typical of the Gen Z of those times.

Deceiving everyone and going undercover for an operation, the rookie employee Hong Jang Mi is actually Hong Geum Bo, a thirty-five-year-old securities supervisor in Yeouido. Back in her real self, Hong Geum Bo is such an elite that she can boldly claim, "Me? I'm a woman who's learnt all there is to learn," and she is an ace among aces, notorious as the "Witch of Yeouido". To get her hands on Hanmin Securities' slush-fund ledger, she goes undercover as a twenty-year-old rookie employee.

Meanwhile, Geum Bo faces no easy challenges, finding herself in repeated crises where her true self slips out without her realizing it, nearly exposing her undercover identity. As she struggles to keep her cover intact, her former acquaintance — and the newly appointed president of Hanmin Securities, Shin Jung Woo (Go Kyung Pyo) — appears before her.

The K-drama is directed by Park Seon Ho, known for Suspicious Partner and Business Proposal.

Undercover Miss Hong premieres on January 17. The K-drama will be available to stream on Netflix.
