Shin Min Ah on the challenges of portraying a character gradually losing sight in 'The Eyes'
Shin Ha Kyun will be making a special appearance in the upcoming comedy film Wild Sing.
Wild Sing tells the story of TRIANGLE, the trio who once swept the music industry but disbanded due to an unexpected incident, and now attempt a comeback after more than 20 years.
The K-movie stars Kang Dong Won, Park Ji Hyun, Um Tae Goo, and Oh Jung Se, among others.
In the K-movie, Shin Ha Kyun plays CEO Park, who discovers TRIANGLE and makes them stars.
Park is a sly, smooth-talking con artist-type figure who scouts B-boy Hyun Woo (Kang Dong Won) through a playground audition and approaches rapper Sang Goo (Uhm Tae Goo) by promising to create a hip-hop team for him.
With his sharp instincts, he quickly propels TRIANGLE to the top of the music industry but disappears without a trace after a scandal breaks out. Twenty years later, he suddenly reappears before the members, adding unpredictable tension and humor to the story.
Speaking about reuniting with Shin Ha Kyun on set, Oh Jung Se expressed special trust in him, saying, "He's always flexible and a dependable actor one can rely on."
Director Son Jae Gon also shared, "When [we] tried to exchange contact information at our first meeting, [we] realized we had already saved each other's numbers 15 years ago," adding, "I wondered why we were only working together now because it was such an enjoyable experience. He's an actor I'd love to continue working with in the future."
Wild Sing is coming to theaters on June 3.
