Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young is making her debut in Hollywood!
Shin Seung Ho's comeback K-drama project will reportedly be with renowned actor Song Kang Ho.
According to the media outlet iMBC Entertainment, Shin Seung Ho will be added to the cast of the upcoming K-drama Insiders.
Shin Seung Ho's side hasn't responded to the casting reports.
Set in the 1980s and 1990s, Insiders offers a broader perspective on the world introduced in the 2015 film Inside Men, which was led by Lee Byung Hun, Cho Seung Woo, and Baek Yoon Shik. The series will tell the stories of insiders. Main lead Lee Gang Hui becomes a key player who directs and commands the forces that rule South Korea.
The upcoming K-drama will be led by Song Kang Ho, Koo Kyo Hwan, and Park Soo Ae.
It will be the collaboration work of director Mo Wan Il (The Frog and The World of the Married) and writer Lee Ki Chul (Alienoid, Escape from Mogadishu, and The Thieves). Hive Media Corp and Plus M will produce it.
According to reports, Insiders will premiere within the year.
If Shin Seung Ho confirms his casting, this will be his grand comeback to the small screen after three years.
The actor last starred in the series Alchemy of Souls Season 2: Light and Shadow with Lee Jae Wook, Go Youn Jung, Hwang Min Hyun, Yoo Joon Sang, and Oh Na Ra.
In 2023, he made a cameo appearance in the K-dramas The Good Bad Mother and D.P. Season 2.
This year, Shin Seung Ho will also star in several films. He will join New Generation War: Reawakened Man and work with Koo Kyo Hwan, Kang Ki Young, Kim Shi Ah, and Kim Sung Ryung.
He is also set to appear in the star-studded movie Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy. The film will be led by Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Min Ho, Chae Soo Bin, After School's Nana, and BLACKPINK's Ji Soo.
Shin Seung Ho will also lead the upcoming thriller mystery film Only God Knows Everything.
