I haven’t seen anyone mention this short vertical drama and  I’m not sure if anyone here watched it yet but it’s surprisingly a really good RR. It did starts with the typical Rich CEO and cute Naive girl trope, but she quite literally trained him to be her dog. And basically gift him a collar that he actively end up wearing. since, it’s a short, it’s kind of stupid but I would recommend if you want something fun with an overpowered Fl and a simp Ml. I know I’m not active here but trust I'm always lurking 😌. 

Feeding a stray dog gives her a system, rival CEO turns into her dog; she tames him, enjoys his love.

Exploration Method of Love (2023)

A hidden gem for me; I'm not particularly fond of the second couple, but the main couple is perfection!

The Su family is blessed with twin daughters, each possessing strikingly different personalities. One pursued a career as a geology doctor, while the other rose to fame in the entertainment world—until the day she vanished, leaving behind a resignation letter and chaos in her path. In a twist of fate, her twin sister is abducted and compelled to step into her shoes on a popular variety show. As she navigates the cutthroat entertainment industry, she must also impersonate her sister, all while dealing with her sister's wealthy and charming VP boyfriend.

Angel's Last Mission: Love (2019)

I realize I've suggested this previously, but I will continue to share it until you all adore it as much as I do. Our male lead is a puppy; he's simply too perfect. He makes me smile all the time, but he also makes me cry.

Lee Yeon Seo is a proud and cynical ballerina. As the prima ballerina, she faces a setback after an accident that forces her to abandon her dreams. Following the unexpected death of her parents, she becomes wary of others, as many seem to be after her inherited wealth. Her arrogance and lack of trust prevent her from opening her heart to love.  On the other hand, Kim Dan is a cheerful and carefree angel who often finds himself in trouble. To earn his way back to heaven, he must complete a mission: to help the talented yet emotionally guarded ballerina discover true love.

At the moment, I can only come up with two suggestions off the top of my head. I'll need to follow up with you regarding the third one, but I strongly recommend these two as they are my all-time favorites.

This looks like a lot of fun! How does it work?  I'm a little unclear on how it works. Do we randomly place titles on the card, or will there be a prompt that appears on January 1? I would love to participate; I didn't watch many RR titles this year, so I think this could motivate me, and it seems enjoyable. Do you have any suggestions? 

 I enjoy assertive female characters with househusbands, or charming male characters with a puppy-like energy. I like females who protect their male partners. My preferences lean towards fantasy, action, and office romance. I dislike dramas where couples have a lot of miscommunication; it drives me crazy. I value relationships that are balanced and showcase strong communication and collaborative problem -solving skills. 

Oh, and I love dramas where the male character breaks down the female's walls and helps her to love. I can't get enough of that dynamic—cold woman, warm male, Yes, please!

The idea is a friends bingo where your friends recommend you 3-5 titles that you'll try and watch in the coming year in the hopes of getting a bingo. You don't actually have to watch all titles from what I've gathered, it's about getting the 5 in a row ^^ I asked on my friends feed and also here for recommendations so I'd get some RR titles too, hehe

I had also been working on an RR bingo a little while ago, but I've yet to post it here. It could be a fun club idea to have an annual RR bingo where we can vote on titles to watch throughout the year, but not sure how much interest there is in such an idea xD Alternatively, I could just keep working on some regular bingo cards for say popular RR dramas, RR minidramas, etc.. and anyone who wants to take it on as a challenge can do so whenever they want

Okaaayyyy, yes of course!!! So you gave me an idea of the tropes you like... 

• Secrets of the Shadow Sect - Wuxia so quite some action. Quite similar to Bound by Sin, but imo more RR. FL is ML's master, and he's the adorably shy guard type. She's a strong martial artist and more powerful than him. It's such good RR.
• Secret of Three Kingdoms - My first thought when you mentioned cold FL x warm ML and MLs breaking down FL's walls and helping her to heal and love... This man was adorable!! He saw a trainwrecked empress and said, "I can fix her" and DID!!! The drama is a bit draggy in the middle, but if you enjoy political dramas, you'll like this. Unfortunately, it's very long... Thick on the RR (for a mostly accurate historical drama) in the beginning, then leans more into egalitarian later on.
• Love and Leashes - I feel like I can't NOT recommend this movie. Office romance. BDSM themed, the movie that was discussed a few days ago. Adorable puppy ML and colder but still sweet FL. The role reversal is thorough and delightful. She's so heroic and cool, and he's such a babygirl
• A Talented Girl Grows Up - Heavy on the comedy, but it didn't really mock RR. One of my absolute favorites this year. Mommy boyfriend ML, that's so gentle and sweet with a fiercely protective gentlewoman FL. She does all the wooing, and they're for the most part healthy af. They do have a slight misunderstanding arc, tho- let me know if that's a deal breaker.
• The Other Half of Me and You - Matriarchy CEO FL x Secretary ML. As RR as it gets imo. Very well executed, but I've heard from people I recommended it to that it's heavy and a lot for first-time matriarchy watcher. FL is the typical CEO, but as a woman, she's so so cool. Office romance too.

Let me know if you want different titles/from different countries. Totally no hard feelings. I know SoTK is quite long, so I understand if you'd rather I recc something shorter. It was hard to only pick 5!! haha
