I dropped it hehe. I feel bad because I really like Yang Yang. But it really is, for me, boring, flat. I don't feel anything watching it.
I think I'll keep watching Likit Haeng Jan (just got distracted by latest release, I set my priority on latest concluded dramas) and will watch The East Palace (that looks superb) on 17 July. No Chinese historical drama catch my eyes right now. But if Unsettled Case (that looks really good) that set on 1997 starts airing today (3 July) is considered history maybe, but I don't think it's old enough.

The East palace is on my list too. Thriller historical me likey!!! ZZA dropped. Couldn't get into it. Somehow, with all the fantastic fight scenes, the other stuff felt too bland, as if it failed to keep up with all the martial arts. Kudos to the whole team and the fight director though, even a couple of episodes were enough to tell me, they were a cut above all the usual fight scenes.
Re-subscribing to Youku to watch Zhan Zhao Adventures that started airing earlier today.
Just for 3 months, since there's a rumor that Spying will air on 18 June. Awesome!

To me ZZA was a fun action drama with the golden trio concept so I enjoyed it but I also wasn't expecting to like it in the first place so my low expectations really help. I'd say averag, glad I watched, will never rewatch.

While waiting for ATC episodes, I started The First Jasmine. I find the initial episodes interesting, but I got busy and stopped after episode 12. Now I've lost the momentum and interest. Maybe I will resume later on.
I've been enjoying it and just finished ep. 37. It's a 9.5/10 for me so far.
Agree its a very solid 8 for me and I am VERY stingy with the points :P
I'm not stingy but I also have it at an 8. When I finish it I will either keep it the same or move it up to a 8.5/9.

Glad at least its giving you some fun time yelling at your TV! I decided to skip it entirely and looks like that might have been a good decision. I liked Song Wei Long in a couple of dramas but I struggle with his selection of scripts. I haven't been able to complete a single drama yet.

Speaking of Zhang Jing Yi, I still have yet to watch Lighter and Princess. I heard great things about it when it was airing.

I like Yang Yang as well, but I think I'll drop ZZA too, since I don't see myself picking it up again in the next few months. I'm looking forward to Key to the Phoenix Heart, starring Neo Hou and Ai Mi. I'm glad that Ai Mi has gotten a lead role 👍.
