These ultra-long Chinese series always frighten me off, even though everyone says how superb they are. Even though the 78 episodes are only about 20 minutes, that's still 26 hours of runtime. Holy moly!
The Spirealm was actually re-released on Viki as 36 45-min episodes. But I‘ve also realized these shows know what they’re doing and are really divided into sub-stories to make it more manageable.
i was scared by the length of a lot of Chinese series but so far it hasn’t been hard to keep watching The Untamed or The Spirealm. But the two straight Chinese romances I watched (Hidden Love and When I Fly Towards You), while lovely, were so slow it took me ages to get through them.

Yeah, not rushing means maybe enjoying the drama more and picking up on more details. Figure 50 eps at one a day or so with some skips, it's about 2 months of watching if I did the math right? Much shorter of course if you watch 2 eps a day.
There are times when I find it hard to wait to see what happens next for some dramas. Especially really good ones with a fast pace, clever script and story. Add in a hot ML and amazing couple chemistry and I'm on the edge of my seat. If there's comedy sprinkled in too then I'm in drama heaven. Romance is a given.

I want to discover movies that I wouldn't normally see so this is perfect if not everything is mainstream thank you. I have watched The blue hour and Your name engraved herein. The second one was really good and I might watch it again soon since I don't remember all the details. It's been a while that I want to see The paradise of thorns. Thank you for your recommendations.

despite being a huge BL watcher, I almost never watch movies. 10Dance was the only one I watched last year that wasn’t for a challenge. actually, I also watched Double Exposure, which is basically porn. It’s probably on par with Sexual Lessons, just longer.
I'm not into porn so I think I will pass this one but thank you.
