Also, since I've currently watching "DMD Friendship: The Third Chapter", I have a particular interest in seeing North and Wave, two of the contestants, in supporting roles.
That's my motto too, but just this once I'm going to finish even if it kills me. 💀
I think it gets better in the second half in regards to romance that's why I was saying maybe try to stick with it , I agree with everyone else though you don't have to force yourself. the reason we watch in the first place is for enjoyment & entertainment so if you feel bored or like it's dragging then it's totally okay to move on to something else that's more likely to grab your attention & that you feel is more worthwhile. you don't have to go through the pain on finishing it if you would rather not , do what makes you happy lovely ! 🩷

Hiya, and for sure I usually move on. I'm really good at doing that, but for some reason I'm on a mission to finish a drama for the first time that I would normally drop without a second thought. I'll compromise and skip over some of the boring parts, lol.
It's a snow day here, yay! My region hasn't had enough snowfall for the season which affects water supply and fire danger, so it's good news. The last few weeks have been sandal and no jacket temps.
Off to get my daily dose of Khemjira in before nightfall. 😆😂🤣
As I wrote in my previous post, be sure you know what you're in for (flashing red trigger warnings: bondage/captivity, rape, torture, suicidal thoughts), but the second half develops with surprising depth. Not for the faint-hearted, but quite interesting and well done. (I'm guessing that it got a lot of bad ratings from young viewers lured by "sex" and "drugs" in the title, which isn't at all what it's about.)
oh yeah i am avid fan of those trigger warning websites, dw i've done my research 🙂↕️ and that's mainly why i've been putting it off so far. i think it's a movie i'll likely enjoy, but i'll definitely have to be in the right headspace for it

I am so excited for this! Me and Mr. P need to form a Domundi-lovers club! I have yet to encounter a couple I don’t like, but I’m especially invested in the couples from Your Sky and Khemjira. Is that gen 3? (I haven’t watched the Domundi friendship shows or whatever they’re called. I just don’t really like reality tv, even when it’s scripted. I’d rather just wait and watch cute clips on IG. lol.) but I think this show is going to be so cute. Plus, I don’t really care as long as Por and Teetee are cute. 🥰

First I thought I haven't watched many bl movies, but then I realized I've watched a bunch of bl short films for my 365 challenge (it's a fun challenge btw! might be scary looking at first). I rated some of these pretty low, but I will still recommend them if you or anyone else is interested to watch them
Okay so here's 2 full-length movies:
Lan Yu - I watched it multiple years ago so I can't remember much of it. I can say for sure that it's a sad melodramatic film. Bilibili
Junjou - Very Japanese style movie. One of the leads is a big red flag. Youtube

Spaceless - Not exactly a bl film bc it's unrequited love, but definitely a worth to watch. Sad film. Youtube (official)

A Little Romance - It's a bromance cuz it's Chinese. It was beautiful Youtube

Uninvited - It was okay, nothing extraordinary. Bilibili and Gaga
Love Ever After - Chinese short film made in USA. Very well made for a student film. Great cinematography. Youtube (official) and Gaga
Queer Movie Butterfly: The Adult World - NC scenes were watchable but pretty much everything else was boring. Very hard to find from anywhere. I watched it in m.ok.ru
Triage - I was confused. It was too short. I believe the drama adaptation is way better than this... I haven't watched it yet Youtube (official)
The Couple - I was bored. Includes infidelity Youtube (official)
Sometimes short film can be very good and well made even if they're not as memorable. I always tell to myself to keep low expectations and an open mind 😂
It was first announced in late 2024 as part of the "2025 line-up", but there are a number of other titles from this group which are likewise still pending ("Only Friends: Dream On", "My Romance Scammer", "Love You Teacher", "Cat for Cash", "Dog and a Plane" and "Wu"), so I think this is still a pretty normal gestation period.
Thanks from clarifying this. I guess it just feels like I've waited forever 😆 There's quite a lot of pending dramas from 2025 line-up 🤔 I hope they release them all soon!
others will only consider it a bl if they're heavy making out or sex scenes I have noticed.
This is so funny because when I started watching bls many of them had only an implied sex scene and few kisses. Luckily bl genre has made major progress even if A Tale of Thousand Stars is one of the good examples that drama doesn't need kiss or sex scenes to be good.
I consider bl to be a title with two men having romantic feelings for each other. Intimate scenes are not necessary but good chemistry is 😌
