Hmm disagree. BL can be really soft too. I don't think the testosterone is at fault. It's not a biological difference.

Okay, My bad - I had a thought and used wrong words to express it. I can't really express it in a few words. So I will just confirm that testosterone idea doesn't express it well as you wrote.

Yea... BL actually gets called out by some groups for being too soft.
And, separate but tangentially-related, for "feminizing" the guys in order to "make up" for the lack of girls in the romance.

Thai GL News of November (1st-10th)!

Channel 3's next GL drama "Like A Palette" - a school romance in which Dai (played by Prigkhing of The Secret of Us and The Secret of Work) confuses Jane (played by Reverse 4 You and the cancelled Love in the Rain) with her affection - released its trailer and will be airing on Nov. 29th.

Channel 3's newly announced drama Fulfill released a 12-minute pilot. (Remember/FYI: this is the material that thai productions release to build up hype and draw in sponsors. Nothing is necessarily finalized nor completed. The finished product may look very similar or quite different - but should keep the spirit and big picture shown in the pilot).

Company BDLMD released teaser images and a pilot for upcoming projects that seemed to be of either the previously announced adaptation of Leh Lom Huan (เล่ห์ลมหวน) or something tied to the same universe. The ages of the actresses however caused concern among several people in the GL fanbase, with there being about a 10 year gap between the actresses of each pair shown in the teaser images, with one actress even still being a minor. However, due to the lack of image context and plot details, a lot is left up in the air about what was truly the intent of the company. Now, the company has removed these posts and left a public statement with the assertion that fan fears were run off of incomplete information and their own poor thought process on how to start the conversation. What will we see changed in either BDLMD's approach to promoting these series or in the actual series themselves? Time will tell.

Monomax's upcoming GL "Heart Code" released a new poster. It's getting real heard to choose a favorite now y'all.

MFlow Entertainment has acquired the rights to adapt My Sassy Bodyguard into a drama.
WeTV has announced that they will produce no fewer than 8 WeTV originals in the GL genre per year, with the aim of being the "Biggest Hub of GL Content" in Asia. Will GMMTV and GagaOOlala pick up that large gauntlet that was just thrown? [Source].

Among WeTV's newly announced GL productions, in collaboration with Copy A Bangkok (of Denied Love): Love On Hire starring Enjoy and June and Frozen Valentine (the posts announcing this one have been deleted for some reason...) starring Natty and Yeepun.

WeTV and Copy A Bangkok have also announced the Denied Love Special Episode with a planned release seeming to be in January.

K11D's actress BMine (of Lucky My Love; Unlock Your Love; and Music Story) is reportedly teaming up with actress Sana Luknok (of Lucky My Love and City of Stars) on a yet to be disclosed project. Nothing else has been shared, so it is unknown in what capacity these two actresses will be interacting on screen (though recent pictures do show the two in poses that would suggest a drama ship). Mashii, BMine's most recent pairing, did end her contract with K11D back in September - leaving us all guessing what's to become of their project Memory.

Nine Star Studios (of Blank) has announced 3 new GL series, seemingly even to the surprise of Yoko: Dangerous Love, Trial Love, and Risking Love. Trailers to come out this month. [Source]

Speaking of Nine Star Studio, Faye, formerly with the company and one half of the beloved FayeYoko ship, recently broke her silence on her take of events that led to her departure.

I'm familiar with MFlow as a BL fan. I'm not holding out hopes for this one. :/

I do like me a cute and fluffy height difference romance. I loved the trailer.

I'm not sure how many of them Yoko will be in, but I've been waiting to hear what her next drama will be. "Blank" remains my personal favourite Thai GL to date, so I'll be closely following both Faye's and Yoko's careers into the future.

Based on the titles and the fact they were announced together, i'm wondering if we're getting a shared universe setting. In which case, she'll probably be a main in one, and support/guest in the others. But we shall see when those trailers drop ^-^

Japanese GL News of October and November (Oct. 5th-Nov. 11th)

Feature-length version of "Her Kiss: Infectious Libido" started its 1 week run on November 7th in a select Japanese theater and on Kickstarter.

Japanese slice-of-life GL drama "Futari Escape" started airing on October 5th, with domestic streaming on TVer. As of yet, there is no news of intent to officially bring this drama to international streaming, but there are 2 fansubbers (that I know of) who are working on still bringing the story to interfans.

"When I Was a Child Everything Was Fine" started airing on October 9th. This is relevant because the drama centers around a building which houses 3 families - including a casual and already established lesbian couple!

An anime adaptation of the dark fantasy yuri "Roll Over and Die" was announced and premiered a trailer. Planned release is January 2026.

Recently completed anime "There's No Freaking Way I'll Be Your Lover! Unless…" will be receiving a sequel miniseries of 5 episodes (total runtime of 1h 52m), adapting the events of Volume 4 of the Light Novel. It will premier first in Japanese theaters on November 21st.
