    101. Feud

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 32 episodes

    6.5

I found most of it entertaining. There were a few things I did that probably helped this drama's case. 1. I went in with low expectations. 2. I binged the whole thing so I didn't have to suffer. 3. I watched a bunch of trash verticals beforehand so anything I watch immediately afterward seems great. 4. I watched this close to it's air date so some of that hype is still there.

It had a solid story overall. I found it very refreshing. There were a few unexpected twists. I loved that I couldn't easily predict what was going to happen. The villain was lowkey hot. I didn't like the last few episodes. As much as I loved the hot villain, I didn't get the reason for his extreme actions. Also, there were way too many things going on in those last few episodes. I can't say I'm satisfied with the ending, but I didn't HATE it. These types of endings annoy me though.

Oh, and I liked the costume of that thunder guy. It seemed Thai inspired, which I also found refreshing. I hated the character though.

  • Beauty and Mr. Romantic

    102. Beauty and Mr. Romantic

    Korean Drama - 2024, 50 episodes

    5.0

This one was boring, but it had a major turn of events around 15 that I liked. It was super cliche, but I didn't see it coming. I enjoyed the middle, but the end became draggy and boring again. The last few episodes were annoying. The writers went a little extreme with the scenarios. I was annoyed at what happened with one of the antagonists. That particular person got off easy and needed more punishment. While it had its enjoyable moments, the ending made it not worth the watch for me. There are way better family dramas out there.

cliches: multiple accidents and injuries, amnesia, plastic surgery, dementia, birth secrets

  • Since I Took You Away

    103. Since I Took You Away

    Japanese Drama - 2025, 11 episodes

    7.5

FL loses her daughter and then kidnaps the daughter of the guy responsible for her daughter's death. It was a very interesting plot. The suspense pulled me in. It wasn't as dark as I was expecting it to be. It's got warm family vibes to it due to the mother-daughter dynamic. The ending was [see spoiler]. I liked it.

spoiler: The ending was surprisingly wholesome (though unrealistic). I was pleasantly surprised.

  • Ikinari Kon

    104. Ikinari Kon

    Japanese Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

    7.5

It's cliche as hell, but executed well. Maybe I'm deprived of Japanese romances. I quite liked this one. In a way, the beginning of the plot reminded me of Drunken to Love You, except it's Japanese with a "weak" FL who can be convinced to go along with ML's marriage shenanigans. If it was another country, FL would've demanded divorce right away. I liked FL's growth in this drama. She learns to speak up and stand up for herself. Because this is going to be one of those cheesy romances, expect ML to be cheesy as hell...That being said, he is not as bad as the ML's in the cringey jromances if that makes sense. Anyways, I enjoyed this classic old school plot. The height difference was amusing.

  • Kimi ga Shinu Made Ato 100 Nichi

    105. Kimi ga Shinu Made Ato 100 Nichi

    Japanese Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

    6.5

This was a light watch. It is a cute story with a unique plot. I liked the cat cameos in this drama. There was an odd turn of events toward the end, but I was okay with it. I guess what hurt this drama for me was FL's acting...it's not the best. I guess it's hard to depict this character too cuz she tends to keep her real feelings hidden.

  • Our Unwritten Seoul

    106. Our Unwritten Seoul

    Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

    8.0

Twin swap drama that is surprisingly not a romcom or angsty revenge makjang. It is simply drama and romance, making it refreshing. It is well written and wholesome. I don't really have any complaints. PBY is the lead actress, which is a plus in my books. ♥

  • Pocket ni Boken wo Tsumekonde

    107. Pocket ni Boken wo Tsumekonde

    Japanese Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

    7.5

Light workplace drama. It's a must watch for Pokemon fans. I loved the Pokemon theme, especially the music. I liked how FL would compare people with certain types of Pokemon and deal with them accordingly. She would use battle strategies to tackle workplace challenges. Her company's name is ADventure. It was very creative when it came to the naming of things and people. Overall, it was a fun and nostalgic watch. I would give it an 8, but I'm afraid I'm being biased. The plot was a 7, but this was creative and fun.

  • After School Doctor

    108. After School Doctor

    Japanese Drama - 2024, 10 episodes

    6.0

There was nothing wrong with this drama. It was cute, light, and wholesome...although seeing some sick kids might make you teary eyed. There were some interesting medical cases. It is slightly slow paced and episodic, which is something I struggle with so this drama isn't for me. I'd say the plot is 7/10.

  • Squid Game Season 3

    109. Squid Game Season 3

    Korean Drama - 2025, 6 episodes

    5.0

A few surprising turn of events made this season interesting, but things got really dumb towards the end. Hwang Jun Ho was the most useless character in the show. He was just there to serve face. Anyways, I think the writer/producers/Netflix have milked as much as they can get out of this series. Let it die now. Too bad there are going to be world spinoffs. I'm so done with this franchise. Ugh.

  • All of Her

    110. All of Her

    Chinese Drama - 2024, 26 episodes

    6.5

Minidrama. Very bland story. What kind of "twin" drama doesn't even show the other twin? :P The villain wasn't even in guessing range because they hardly showed them either. Honestly, I would've rated it lower, but the ending thrilled me. It's controversial for fans and totally caught me off guard. I agree with the writer. FL needed that.

  • Lover's Revenge

    111. Lover's Revenge

    Japanese Drama - 2025, 8 episodes

    6.5

A contract relationship plot that is sort of cringe (not because ML had cringey lines). How to put this...it felt like the plot from one of those contract relationship romance mangas that were my guilty pleasure in my teens and 20s. I'm glad to see it is actually an adaptation cuz the plot checks out. There were some "twists" that caught me off guard cuz I wasn't expecting it in a jdrama, but if you think about it it's quite cliche for manga plots. Anyways, both their moms were annoying, especially ML's mom.

  • Tastefully Yours

    112. Tastefully Yours

    Korean Drama - 2025, 10 episodes

    6.5

Ugh, I feel so conflicted. I was in the mood for a korean romcom and this one hit the spot for me. It even gave me old school kdrama vibes and I actually liked most of the story. You can't go wrong with good food, right? However, the chemistry is a bit lacking between this pairing. I can look over it tbh. The main thing that pissed me off was the ending. It was frustrating. I needed that villain exposed for their dirty deeds. I think my love for revenge and justice is preventing me from liking the ending. I had to drop my rating to 6.5 because of it, but it's a solid 7 overall (if you ignore a few dumb things that happen). Oh, and yes it did remind a bit of japanese food dramas lol

  • Resident Playbook

    113. Resident Playbook

    Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

    7.0

The first few episodes were a struggle to get through. It's slow paced, so it takes a while to get used the environment. There's character introductions and a few various cases. Seeing the residents constantly make mistakes in the beginning was painful to watch. It reminds me how I keep telling myself not to land myself in the hospital in June/July cuz that's when all the new residents start. Anyways, this series felt like a cross between Hospital Playlist and Daily Dose of Sunshine. It was relaxing to watch for a Medical drama. It wasn't as fun as Hospital Playlist, but I appreciate all of the cameos.

What's nice about this series is that it's mainly centered around the OB/GYN department. Even though you see some cases of people being sick and dying, you end up seeing some happy births too. I initially didn't like the FL and I still don't see what her deal is. The girl always wanted to quit. By the end, I grew attached to these characters and was proud of their growth. This R1 group had a nice dynamic. The writers left room open for multiple seasons (for each year of their residency). There were unanswered questions regarding some subplots. They will probably answer them in future seasons. Overall not bad, but not as good as Hospital Playlist. There were a few medical inaccuracies when it came to editing and some subplots, but I'll let them pass.

  • Bright Moon of Spring Night

    114. Bright Moon of Spring Night

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 48 episodes

    8.0

Vertical microdrama. I quite liked this one. It's pretty cliche and nothing new plotwise, but it's well made. They must be doing something right because I watched at 1x speed and barely fast-forwarded . Even most of the episodes have proper episode endings instead of random ones.

  • Swing Me to Your Heart

    115. Swing Me to Your Heart

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 66 episodes

    5.0

Vertical microdrama. This was a real strange one and grossed me out. ML raised FL and then you try to convince me there's romance between them? *vomit* The direction isn't all that great either.

  • Dark Light

    116. Dark Light

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 65 episodes

    4.5

Vertical microdrama. I liked the idea of ML getting revenge, but wasn't a fan of the cheating. The plot seemed like it was straight out of a lakorn. I also didn't like what they did to FL's best friend. Every FL needs a true bestie! >:(

  • Yue Ran Ai Ren

    117. Yue Ran Ai Ren

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 84 episodes

    6.5

Vertical microdrama. Actually FL was a badass after rebirth and I love that for her. There was decent chemistry. I loved ML. I hated the cliche villain things.

  • Reborn in Your Embrace

    118. Reborn in Your Embrace

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 81 episodes

    6.0

Vertical microdrama. People kept raving about it because of the steamy kisses. It had french kisses which I guess was unique, but not that much raving about. Didn't reallly like the villains. It was very cliche in that aspect.

  • Jiao Yi You Xi Li Ta Xian Chen Lun

    119. Jiao Yi You Xi Li Ta Xian Chen Lun

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 91 episodes

    6.0

Vertical microdrama. I love the lead actor, but I fell asleep a couple of times watching this.  I had to force myself to finish. I think this plot is a variation of another plot I've seen. That being said, ML plays bad boys/underground bosses well. :P

  • When Life Gives You Tangerines

    120. When Life Gives You Tangerines

    Korean Drama - 2025, 16 episodes

    8.5

Beautiful multigenerational story. It originally wasn't my cup of tea, but it got better as I watched. In a way, it reminded me of the Reply series, but without the trolling writers and excessive cameos. Every single episode made me tear up. Very touching and heartfelt. I loved seeing the parallels in the mother and daughter's lives as well as the differences. I love how the mother's fought to break the cycle for their daughters.

  • Dear Hongrang

    121. Dear Hongrang

    Korean Drama - 2025, 11 episodes

    7.0

Many people kept saying this was dark, but it wasn't as dark as I was expecting it to be. Maybe I've becoming desensitized. The last two episodes are bloody, but that was about it. One particular bloody scene in the last episode made me lol. What I found refreshing about this drama is that it stays away from palace politics, which always seems to rear its head in sageuks. The plot was interesting enough to hold my attention, although it had a cliche love triangle plot. I also wish they gave us more backstory about the Snow Man and the villain about how they came to be the way they were. The soundtrack was awesome. There were also some really aesthetic shots. Overall, it's a solid drama with decent production.

  • Ye Ye Qi Meng Rao Jun Xin

    122. Ye Ye Qi Meng Rao Jun Xin

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 50 episodes

    7.0

Vertical microdrama. This had one of the most terrifying MLs I've seen in a while. I was literally rooting for FL to escape. ML is technically a rapist. Basically ML constantly r*pes FL in her dreams every night and then he meets her IRL. Girl is terrified for her life. I was terrified on her behalf.  Although he doesn't do it irl, he chases after her and ruins FL's engagement (which happens to be with his nephew).  This was a wild ride. My heart was literally beating in terror on her behalf.

  • Luo Ru Da Wu Jiang Ni Yi Wang

    123. Luo Ru Da Wu Jiang Ni Yi Wang

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 96 episodes

    6.0

Vertical microdrama. This was just pure suffering on FLs part. I was rooting for all the 2nd leads. It was also weird cuz ML raised FL and then knocks her up while drunk one night. Just one of those weird plots. I was happy when she flew off and did her own thing in the end. :P Too bad there's a time jump.

  • Fated to Love You

    124. Fated to Love You

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 100 episodes

    4.5

Vertical microdrama. Just following @Crafty's lead in collecting all the Fated to Love You titles. This plot completely unrelated to the FTLY series. I've actually seen this story before. It's not the best version out there, but it's alright.

  • Game of True Love

    125. Game of True Love

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 56 episodes

    7.0

Minidrama. Starting from the first episode, I could tell this was a remake of a revenge lakorn...a slap/kiss lakorn too at that! I was intrigued. They surprisingly kept the angst and the slap/kiss scenes. I was worried they were going to whitewash things as Chinese dramas tend to do. I actually liked the remake, maybe even better than the original. It was entertaining, angsty, full of twists (some you might see coming, some you might not). This couple had great chemistry. I forget a lot from the original, but I remember I was hooked. I gave it an 8/10 (for lakorn standards). I'm glad they didn't bore us with lame action scenes like in the OG. They also gave some of the characters more depth. I would recommend this to lakorn fans. Solid remake.

  • Reborn

    126. Reborn

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 23 episodes

    7.5

The poster made it seem like it would be a lot more cuter. Don't be deceived. It's actually a dark and depressing story. This poor FL lives under her sister's shadow and suffocates under her mom's watch. This whole drama was suffocating to watch. However, the mystery about what happened to FL's sister was really interesting and pulled me in. FL gets revenge and it was thoroughly satisfying for me. I felt like could breathe a little that. There was the aftermath of the revenge to deal with and more about what happened to the sister. As depressing as it is, the story is well written. Anyways, I really liked ML in this one. He grew on me. He was nothing special, but he was ready to drop everything to be by her side.

  • Her Trajecting

    127. Her Trajecting

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 31 episodes

    4.5

Minidrama. Literally no one asked for this remake of Marry My Husband. I'm not sure if it's an official remake or unofficial remake, but they copied things down to ML having a cat (though the subplot barely had as much substance). As a minidrama, it felt more like an unofficial remake. There was bad editing, especially in the beginning which made the storytelling a bit confusing. The acting/dubbing wasn't the best either. Also, they randomly made ML and SML celebrities/singers. There was no need for that. The business plot was more boring than the original. There were a few things I appreciated such as a few steamy kisses and the instrumental background music. That's about it.

  • Face Me

    128. Face Me

    Korean Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

    6.0

The concept of plastic surgery + crime drama was very unique, but I found the drama to be very mid overall and forgettable. It's basically sponsored to promote Korea's plastic surgery industry. I mainly checked this out for the cast, but it really wasn't worth watching. I liked that FL is a badass, but hated that she was so biased against her brother.

  • Tuning Hearts

    129. Tuning Hearts

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 63 episodes

    6.0

Vertical microdrama. Very boring plot, but it was nice to see the two leads back together. Was there any plot to begin with? It was basically ML trying to win FL back after 4 years, claiming she was his, and having the audacity to be possessive. Some of the tactics he used to win her over weren't really cute.  ML was a loser in my books (although a good looking one. :P)

  • Darling, I'm Getting Married

    130. Darling, I'm Getting Married

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 50 episodes

    7.0

Vertical microdrama. I quite liked this one and I think it's because of its semi-revenge plot.  FL is secretly a badass racer. Her bf cheats on her. She marries ML instead, who is the greenest flag.  I shipped them hard even though FL only initially agreed cuz it was an arranged marriage. It was nice to see FL's ex and his white moonlight go down. FL's ex isn't that bad actually. You can see he loved FL.  Anyways, it was nice to see his white moonlight go down.

  • Ta Pian Yao

    131. Ta Pian Yao

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 90 episodes

    6.0

Vertical drama. Mid drama. ML was hot at least. I've seen variations of this plot. FL is supposed to marry her cheating fiance, but head of family doesn't approve of their marriage because he wants FL for himself.

  • Wo Jia Ji Zhang Mei You Sa

    132. Wo Jia Ji Zhang Mei You Sa

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 60 episodes

    6.5

Vertical microdrama. FL is a pilot which is cool, though she gets cheated on and reborn. Mid drama, but it was worth watching just for that ending. The mistress falling in love with FL and wanting to have her baby totally threw me off.

  • Ai Yi Nan Tao

    133. Ai Yi Nan Tao

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 44 episodes

    6.5

Vertical microdrama. FL with terminal illness kidnaps ML and traps him lol. Then she disappears expecting to die. Then there's a huge plot twist I didn't see coming. The revenge was decent. I loved ML's mom. ML's reaction at the very end was hilarious.

  • Post-Marriage Temptation

    134. Post-Marriage Temptation

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 82 episodes

    6.0

Vertical microdrama. This was pretty average. Actually first half was kind of interesting, but it's pretty copy paste standard story of one night stand and secret marriage. I hate how everyone bullied FL and then sucked up to her when they realized she's ML's wife.

  • Desire's Dance, Fate's Chance

    135. Desire's Dance, Fate's Chance

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 60 episodes

    7.5

Vertical microdrama. Damn, micros are getting more and more bold these days. This has S&M, but idk if the writer truly understands the concept lol.  But it was interesting none the less. The plot was actually refreshing and of course steamy af. :P

  • Obsession after Separation

    136. Obsession after Separation

    Chinese Drama - 2024, 63 episodes

    3.0

Average plot. ML has a female allergy. Poor FL just wants to be with him. He keeps denying her WITHOUT explaining anything. THEY'VE BEEN MARRIED THREE YEARS which is ridiculous. This could've easily been explained and cleared up the misunderstanding.  Then somehow ML is cured of his illness as he starts getting jealous cuz FL is about to leave him. He becomes annoying and possessive.  This whole thing could've been cleared if ML just communicated with her.  FL was even to go through IVF ffs and ML was against it. The only good thing about this is ML's body lol. Acting and editing were bad.

  • Bullet Train Explosion

    137. Bullet Train Explosion

    Japanese Movie - 2025

    7.5

Think the movie Speed, but with shinkansen. In fact, the movie Speed was inspired by the original 1975 jmovie The Bullet Train.  I did not give this movie the justice it deserved. I started it in the middle, ruined the twist for myself, fell asleep, then watched it from the beginning with half Japanese audio and half English dub...20-30 minute intervals at a time during dinner. ^^;; Despite all that, I still enjoyed the movie. It was thrilling, it was fun, albeit maybe a bit cheesy/corny at times (or maybe that was the dub >_<). It intrigued the nerdy side of my brain. Idk how accurate it was when it came to the engineering stuff, but I had fun watching it.

  • A Dream within a Dream

    138. A Dream within a Dream

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 40 episodes

    6.5

Finally finished! Not sure what to rate this one. The first half was chaotic good with a crazy fast pace and witty writing. It made me laugh a couple of times. Some things will be memorable, like ML's iconic tassel hat. FL is a bit delulu, which is a bit of a double edged sword. Sometimes it was amusing, while other times it was annoying how stubborn she was. SL is also annoying. I think clown prince was my favorite. Kudos for not making him evil. Anyways, the second half gets really draggy and repetitive. It was a bit painful to finish. I think the writer abandoned some subplots such as the blade forging technique arc. Then there was that ending, which I found to be disappointing, but it could've been worse so I can't complain. This drama was really promising but it fell flat and crashed toward the end.

  • City Hall

    139. City Hall

    Korean Drama - 2009, 20 episodes

    6.5

This drama is over 15 years old, and I'm not sure it stood the test of time. Maybe if I had watched it in 2009, I would've given it a 7. There were moments I genuinely loved. I found the concept of FL (a random ahjumma) running for mayor refreshing. I felt a lot of nostalgia for older kdramas. I saw classic things like removing phone batteries and heard some 2nd gen kpop songs (SNSD, Super Junior) that I haven’t heard in dramas forever.

But it also had the usual cons of older dramas, like secondhand embarrassment from the FL’s super cringe situations. I also had trouble shipping the main couple. The ML technically had a fiancé, yet still pursued the FL. Their ambiguous relationship frustrated me to no end. The SFL was annoying af, but cheating is still cheating. On top of that, the ridiculous amount of corruption in this small city made me so angry. Some of these characters were just over-the-top ridiculous. Anyway, this drama probably wouldn’t be for me now, but it did make me laugh and smile.

  • My Splendid Life

    140. My Splendid Life

    Chinese Drama - 2011, 38 episodes

    5.0

Older drama. Clearing this from my PTW. It's been a while since I've seen a nepo baby ML, and this one was truly spoiled and horrible. ML is the worst of assholes. He thinks money can solve everything. These types of characters are usually portrayed as the villain. His family is ridiculously spoiled as well. Of course, this character has growth, but I still don't think I could like him in the end.

My Splendid Life is a remake of the kdrama Shining Inheritance (which I rated 6). There are some things that this drama did well. Jerry Yan's interpretation of his character was much more intimidating compared to Lee Seung Gi's. However, his acting was still not the best in this drama...or at least the acting style could be very slapsticky cuz it's supposed to be a romcom. So many messed up things happened in this plot (which is true to the original story). My major gripe was the length. The beginning was bingeable and fun, but it really started to drag. I hated that they saved all the major revelations for the end. The drama was almost 40 episodes so it was a long, frustrating wait. Not sure why this was on my PTW...maybe cuz it was a remake? Anyways, skip this one.

  • Heart Surgeons

    141. Heart Surgeons

    Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes

    6.5

This was my bed time watch. It was interesting enough to hold my attention, and required low brain energy, which helped me fall asleep. It was just a low stakes drama to keep my brain occupied. It brought up some interesting problems that do happen at hospitals (but was probably over-exaggerated). I enjoyed it, even if it had a cartoony villain. There are two main reasons I'm not giving it a higher rating. At the end of the day, it is a forgettable medical drama that I will not remember in a few months. Also, the timeline was all over the place. It has a nonlinear plot. I thought it was me because I was half asleep watching this, but no. I went back to rewatch. They really do jump all over the place with the plot. It was chaotic.

  • The World between Us Season 2

    142. The World between Us Season 2

    Taiwanese Drama - 2025, 10 episodes

    8.0

It's a completely different story than season 1, but has same theme of covering social issues. This time it's mental health. Honestly, this drama hit close to home. I love how they covered the story from multiple angles such as what it's like to be the child, parent, or relative of someone who is sick. Also, the debate on whether meds are good or bad. It also covered the stigma around people who are struggling with mental health issues. Like season 1, there is layers to the writing and foreshadowing. The drama also did a good job of capturing emotion. I was super stressed and upset at times.

Anyway, while this season is great, it is nowhere near as good as season 1. I felt like this season was more slow paced. There was this huge politics element that I didn't care much about. I also felt like they might've tried cover too many social issues instead of covering one or two. For example, there was one thing that happened in the plot that I wish they could've gone back to address instead of sloppily addressing at the end with a lame apology. Such is life, I know, but that's what made that apology so strange. I also disliked that they didn't switch to younger actors for scenes that happened 20 years in the past. I threw me off. Plot Enjoyment: 7.5 (though it's a serious and realistically sad story). I'm boosting to 8 for some of the writing.

  • Reunited Worlds

    143. Reunited Worlds

    Korean Drama - 2017, 40 episodes

    7.0

2017 was a peak year for kdramas. This drama must've seemed so average compared to the dramas that came out that year. Watching this years later, it is still average, but in a good way. It's light and hit the spot for me. I breezed through it easily. I think I initially avoided this cuz I thought it would be sadder. Don't get me wrong, it is still a bit sad, but still manages to be light and healing. Some parts I felt were a teeny bit draggy, but there were enough twists in the story to keep me entertained. Overall, I enjoyed it. Maybe a 6.5 for today's standards.

  • I Belonged to Your World

    144. I Belonged to Your World

    Chinese Drama - 2023, 20 episodes

    7.0

This drama had no business being so good toward the end. It had a promising start which involved a man going back into the past to change his mother's fate in high school. It gets kind of mid once our FL starts pursuing ML. I was honestly considering dropping it. However, it randomly gets so good and funny toward the last 5 episodes. I was like "is this the same drama??" There were still some cute moments throughout though. I really loved the mother/son duo. They had such a tight bond. It was also interesting seeing our FL becoming more mother-like as opposed to the unambitious teen she was in the beginning. It weirded me out when FL's bestie fell in love with the son. Other than that, consider me pleasantly surprised. I changed my rating last minute.

  • Miss Gold Digger

    145. Miss Gold Digger

    Korean Movie - 2007

    7.0

2000s movie with 2000s humor. There were some 2nd hand embarrassing scenes involving FL. She is pretty unlikable (for obvious reasons), but I liked ML so they sort of cancelled each other out. FL gets what she deserved. The ending was crap, but also the most reasonable choice.

  • Dr. Gang

    146. Dr. Gang

    Korean Drama - 2006, 16 episodes

    5.5

The concept is similar to Suits. Instead of a man pretending to be a lawyer, you have a former gangster pretending to be a doctor (and a bad one too at that). There's this whole murder mystery going on. Our leads are somewhat star crossed lovers (AND fated lovers) as ML might've killed FL's brother. Then there's the former gang members trying to pull ML back into a life of crime for their selfish purposes. This drama had potential, but there were some absurd moments...
    1. The gangsters were annoying.
    2. I saw doctors and nurses drinking on the job IN the hospital on multiple occasions.
    3. A bunch of high schoolers went to police to report a kidnapping they saw right before their eyes and the police ignored them.
    4. It took too long for people to discover things (hard to explain this one).
    5. MBC uploaded this to their youtube channel but the episodes are broken out into 5 minute clips.

  • Wonderful Nightmare

    149. Wonderful Nightmare

    Korean Movie - 2015

    7.5

Supernatural found family plot (sort of). FL prematurely dies in an accident. In order for her to go back, she has to live as another woman for a month, but it turns out that woman is a housewife with two kids. It's a cute and heartwarming story with some serious elements. The plot would be like a 7/10, but I'm a sucker for found family.

  • Fate

    150. Fate

Very mid and predictable gangster movie. I think this was on my PTW for Ji Sung, who was more like a support character.

  • Swallow the Sun

    151. Swallow the Sun

    Korean Drama - 2009, 25 episodes

    7.0

I actually really liked this. I've been trying to clear 2000s titles from my PTW. Many have been mediocre or a disappointment, but this one managed to keep my interest. It's a classic melo. I felt deja vu watching it. A lot of people say it's similar to All In. It has a lot of similarities. Interestingly, Ji Sung is in both dramas. I think for me the soundtrack is what really made this drama better. Also, who doesn't love a good revenge story? ML is playing a game of chess in this one. Also FL works for Cirque du Soleil so they show plenty of gorgeous performance shots. As for cons, it get slightly draggy toward the end, but it wasn't too bad. There's annoying gangster stuff, but it wasn't enough to deter me. What really annoyed me was that no one could keep a secret toward the end. :P Oh, and I'm surprised this drama got away with all of the stripper pole dancing scenes and close up shots of people's butts while they're dancing. It aired on a non cable channel back in the 2000s.

#Filmed in the Same Continent as You (North America, Las Vegas), also filmed in Asia and Africa.

    5.0

Well...that was a movie. Not sure what was going on with the plot for most of the movie. Then there is a turn of events followed by a chaotic ending. Is it messed up to say I laughed when she went flying through the air? ^^;; I guess you can say it's mid/bad, but I enjoyed the twist.

    154. The Third Way of Love

    Chinese Movie - 2015

  • Kururi 〜Who’s in Love with me〜

    Japanese Drama - 2024, 11 episodes

    7.0

AAAHHH! MY SHIP MADE IT!! I'M SO HAPPPYYY! ♥ This was just the light watch I needed. FL wakes up with amnesia and no memories about herself or family. She's trying to trace clues to find out more about herself. In her possession is a ring. She tries to find out who she meant to give it to, but it turns out she was involved with multiple men. Other than the crazy amnesia romance part, this is also a story about a girl just trying to figure out herself and discovering new interests.

  • 71: Into the Fire

    156. 71: Into the Fire

    Korean Movie - 2010

    7.0

I put this off for like 14 years because I was afraid it was going to make me ugly cry (like everyone warned me it would). At this stage in my life, I think I've become a monster because it didn't. ^^;; I don't think this aged well. I wasn't a fan of the cinematography. It was too dark in the beginning (quite literally, I had to turn up the brightness). I also wasn't a fan of the shaky camera affect they were going for in the first half. However, the last half hour of this movie was pretty amazing. It was an epic battle scene. And I did end up getting a little teary eyed in the last 5 minutes so maybe I'm not a monster after all. I can see why it's a highly revered movie. T.O.P.'s performance is pretty good as well.

  • Falling before Fireworks

    157. Falling before Fireworks

    Chinese Drama - 2023, 23 episodes

    7.0

I might be a little biased because of all the adorable kittens and puppies. This was a light and nice watch. It was also a bit healing too. ML is just living his best life surrounded by puppies and kittens, away from the distracting and noisy city life. Better yet, he meets FL who randomly proposes to him, saying that he wont need to make money. She will take care of him. I'm a sucker for marriage of convenience. So yeah, ML gets the princess treatment. He even sometimes compares himself to Cinderella. He has some issues from his past that he is dealing with, but it's all good now that he has wifey. As for FL, she's a bit annoying in the beginning, but she grew on me. Girl just wanted a family and she got one. Love that for her. This is cute if you want something light. There are plenty of puppy shots to keep you occupied. I loved that one of the puppies is named Sleepy.

  • S Line

    158. S Line

    Korean Drama - 2025, 6 episodes

    7.0

I thought it was a really creative story. Some stuff I saw coming, but others I did not. The twist totally threw me off. I'm not gonna say which one. There were some plotholes. We never found out what happened to some characters. They just disappeared. Anyways, it was a cool concept of a show. The ending may not be for everyone. It got really weird toward the end. Overall, it's a dark show with a cool concept, but has some flaws.

  • Head over Heels

    159. Head over Heels

    Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

    7.0

Perfect for Halloween month. The ghosts actually look scary (not all though). The first half was pretty fun. It's somewhat episodic. There's a ghost in each episode that FL needs to protect ML from. The second half got draggy cuz they do away with this episodic format. There's an "evil" ghost that stuck around for too long. They practically forgot about ML's problem. I'm annoyed they kept giving delulu shaman lady a bajillion chances. On another note, you gotta love SL in this one. I teared up toward the end when he made japchae for FL. It was just a simple and sweet act of kindness.

  • Pearl Hotel

    160. Pearl Hotel

    Chinese Drama - 2024, 21 episodes

    6.0

A very unserious Horror "Comedy" and I use comedy lightly cuz the humor wasn't all that funny. However, it's a minidrama that knows it's bad and therefore is amusing for the campiness factor. It took a while for the plot to pick up cuz it felt like it was going nowhere in the beginning. It eventually started to move along. I liked how it turned out. Watch this one if you're bored and lower your expectations. It's just a silly watch if you're looking for something spooky themed.

  • Hook

    161. Hook

    Thai Drama - 2020, 13 episodes

    5.0

I think the framework of the story had potential, but it was ruined by the editing, especially the corny sound mixing. Filming boxing content is an art in and of itself. This director unfortunately didn't hit the mark. Also, it seemed like the actors had one day of boxing training before they started filming. The punches seemed like light taps. Anyways, around episode 10, this drama turns into a melodrama all of a sudden with a random twist (for a sports drama). The last three episodes things started to wind down. I don't think 3 extra episodes were needed for it tbh. It could've been done in 1 or 2.

  • Wen Ruan Mei Gui Lun Wei Ta Xin Jian Pian Chong

    162. Wen Ruan Mei Gui Lun Wei Ta Xin Jian Pian Chong

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 87 episodes

    7.0

This was a zombie vertical minidrama, which made it extremely refreshing for a vertical. I loved the whole zombie concept and then you have the rival factions that are war with each other. ML and FL are star-crossed lovers (but also more like enemies to lovers). ML saves FL after she gets betrayed by her clan and left for dead. Anyways, after about an hour into the series, the zombies go away. Then they start focusing on the faction rivalry and unlocking superpowers instead. This part was pretty boring. There's a delulu SFL that keeps trying to get FL killed and ML keeps giving her chances for the sake of her father. This is where things start getting repetitive. Then finally the zombies come back. The rival faction characters had a lame random ending. ML *almost* has a lame ending too. In short, I liked the zombie stuff, but could've cared less for all the other stuff. It was a nice break from the regular vertical plots.

  • Heavenly Ever After

    165. Heavenly Ever After

    Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

    7.0

Every single episode made me cry. I'd say plot is 6.5 cuz this world does not make any sense. It's heaven, but it's not what imagined it to be. People still work and do chores. Some people are still unhappy. You can still go to hell if you do something bad. Also, reincarnation exists??? You have to think of this place more like "The Good Place" for it to make sense. What won me over were the lead actors, especially Son Suk Ku. Also, the animals were my favorite. The drama sort of tanks toward the end, but there are also a few good ending moments.

  • Newtopia

Not sure what the heck I just watched. This was so weird. It's a zombie horror comedy. I just couldn't get into it. I didn't find the humor that funny either. Maybe it's just me. Other people in the comments genuinely liked it. I guess it depends on your taste. This one is a miss for me.

  • The Haunted Palace

    167. The Haunted Palace

    Korean Drama - 2025, 16 episodes

    6.0

It had potential. It wasn't bad either. I enjoyed the actors and thought they did a decent job. The ghosts were creepy looking. I think they just spent way too much time on one particular evil ghost and an annoying shaman. Somewhere along the way I lost my interest because of it. I had to force myself to finish the drama. I think it would've benefited from a semi episodic plot. Anyways, I loved the bromance between ML and the king.

    169. Genie, Make a Wish

    Korean Drama - 2025, 13 episodes

I finished this a couple of days ago. It was surprisingly fun, especially the first half. I found it amusing. Yes, I'm well aware of the controversy regarding this drama.  As a Muslim, I am well aware of the story of Satan according the Islamic scripture. Was I offended that they used it for inspiration? No.  Also Korean writers always screw up everything regarding religion (specifically Abrahamic faiths) by adding stuff like reincarnation. They did the same with Heavenly Ever After. Anyways, this is an antihero story with a redemption arc. It's not my favorite role of Suzy's, but I thought her character was refreshing. KWB did a decent job. Loved that he rocked the long hair lol.  Also, loved the side plot with Daniel Henney. XD How did they get him to take on that role along with Kim Ji Hoon?

  • The Resurrected

    172. The Resurrected

    Taiwanese Drama - 2025, 9 episodes

    8.0

Really great drama that managed to pull it out of my drama slump. It's a bit dark, as expected. Who doesn't love a good revenge story? I thought it was really unique and refreshing. The production was great. It's a collaboration drama between Taiwan and Thailand (I think). I could even give it an 8.5. Ultimately, I wasn't a fan of the Netflix ending so I'm not going with a higher rating.

  • Oh My Ghost Clients

    173. Oh My Ghost Clients

    Korean Drama - 2025, 10 episodes

    7.0

I thought it was a decent watch. It managed to hold my attention during a slump. It's more of an episodic workplace/lawyer drama than it is a supernatural one. It follows a familiar format of ML & Team investigating places to get revenge...umm, I mean fight for justice. Not that he wants to do it, he's kind of forced into it. Anyways, the last 2 episodes got a little too silly for me, but overall it's still a good watch. Rating fluctuated between 6.5-7.

    174. Tei Taion Danshi ni Natsukaremashita.

    Japanese Drama - 2025, 8 episodes

This is one of those awkward dating Japanese romance stories. It wasn't terrible, but it lacked feeling for me and I wasn't emotionally invested. ML can be cringe at times. Anyways, I felt like I was watching this drama on my last two brain cells. It's a good drama to have on in the background I guess. ML is called Mr. Frost cuz he's cold and has cold hand. FL has warm hands. Do you see where this is going?

  • My Troublesome Star

    176. Twelve Letters

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

Interesting concept. Solid story. A bit too depressing for my liking, and perhaps a bit slow paced. At points it got a bit confusing with the time jumps, but I guess that was a good thing cuz I was trying to figure out the connection between people from the future vs past. I guess I liked the ending, but I wish they had shown more of it if that makes sense. It just felt a bit flat.

  • Ms. Incognito

    177. Ms. Incognito

    Korean Drama - 2025, 12 episodes

    7.0

This drama has its flaws, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I watched it thinking of it as a makjang. Hence, I think my opinions on this drama are going to be a bit more lenient. The first half was great. It was exciting with all of the drama and revenge stuff. The second half is where it starts to get draggy. They added a cookie cutter "community/village" setting that seemed formulaic. No one cared about the stupid kindergarten. FL's "bestie" won my heart. I was really worried they were going to do me dirty. Things in the second half seemed either silly or overexaggerated. The villain had the upper hand for way to long and did it way too easily. It was too unrealistic in that sense. Oh and the big twist was easily predictable since the beginning. After saying all that, I still enjoyed it in terms of makjang standards. Do NOT watch for the romance. It was so unnecessary tbh.

Good story. Well produced and acted. It's personally not my cup of tea due to the heavy subject matter. It just makes me angry and upset at the world. FL's mom really pissed me off. I felt no pity for her in the later episodes. Anyways, despite the good writing, I still felt like there was a lot of filler stuff that didn't need to be there. It got a bit draggy at times due to the pain and suffering these characters felt.

It's a cute and simple story. Main couple is cute. Love the awkward romance. I think the main issue I had with it was the acting, which was the typical exaggerated Japanese style of acting.  Anyways, FL's choice of cosplay outfits cracked me up cuz a lot of times the characters were from some smutty/erotic romance.

  • The Yakuza Boss's Beloved

    180. The Yakuza Boss's Beloved

    Japanese Drama - 2025, 8 episodes

I went into this blind. I was expecting cringey romance and it delivered cringey romance, but not as bad as some cringey romances I've seen. Actually, I'm surprised ML actually turned out to be yakuza. I thought they were jokingly calling him that in the beginning. How to describe this drama? As a couple, they were fine. Everything was standard for romance stuff. ML is easy on the eyes. FL is somewhat of a doormat. The yakuza part was a bit unusual cuz ML barely counts as yakuza besides having a tattoo on his back. The actual yakuza storyline was super mid. I personally was expecting a cringey business romance, which was on point, so I wasn't disappointed.

    181. My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999

Aww, this had so much potential as an online gaming romance. In the end, I feel like production dropped the ball. It felt more like a cheap jdrama than a movie. Also the romance was a bit mid with these two falling in love and rando supporting characters throwing hurdles at them. ML was dull...a bit of a snoozefest tbh. Idk what was appealing about him. Anyways, I feel like the ending could've been expanded a little bit instead of where they left it. Overall, I'm kind of disappointed because I really saw the potential for this one.

  • Romantics Anonymous

    183. Romantics Anonymous

    Japanese Drama - 2025, 8 episodes

Technically it's a cliche plot, but this "outdated" plot from a few years ago gives me nostalgia and comfort. It reminds me of the sweet and fun dramas from back then. I miss them. It was sweet and done well. I feel like FL's acting might have actually been a bit off with this one. Anyways, this cast lineup was fantastic. I enjoyed the plot and the chocolate. This most definitely hit the spot for me.

    184. Kantaro: The Sweet Tooth Salaryman

    Japanese Drama - 2017, 12 episodes

This is such a weird drama. It's very silly and unserious. The main character goes around Tokyo trying various sweets. He keeps his passion for sweets hidden. I enjoyed the desserts and I enjoyed ML's internal dialogue. ML's reactions to the desserts can be a little insane and abstract. Sometimes I think they spent a little too much time on his food reactions. This is the part where I'd doze off or get distracted. Anyways, it's a super unserious watch that felt more like an ad showcasing various dessert spots in Tokyo.

I couldn't get into it. The first few eps were interesting, but it was hard to hold my attention after that. ML's pursuit of FL in the beginning was funny. I haven't seen the original kdrama or webtoon, so I cannot compare. By itself, it was meh, but if you love the OG storyline, I can see how you would enjoy this. The music was semi decent.

    187. AARO: All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office

    Japanese Drama - 2024, 10 episodes

The initial episodes were so bad, formulaic, and predictable. It felt like a knockoff version of The X-Files where they went around disproving certain mysteries. Then there is a twist that changes the entire trajectory of the plot. It gets so much better. If you go back and rewatch they drop so many hints early on, but they literally sounded like nonsense lol. Anyways, after this twist the plot gets somewhat confusing and complicated (mainly because of all the new names you have to keep track of). They try to throw in more twists, but I was still able to easily predict a lot.

  • Typhoon Family

    188. Typhoon Family

    Korean Drama - 2025, 16 episodes

    6.0

Business drama through and through. Someone mentioned this was like Itaewon Class, but set in 90s. I kind of see the similarities, but this is worse. For one thing, ML and co repetitively get scammed. The amount of fraud and betrayal gets annoying. There might be a few "wins", but they're hardly anything to celebrate. As soon as they are able to breathe a little, something else comes along to ruin the fun. It also got super lame toward the end. Was the romance even needed in this drama? I think it was unnecessary. It felt forced. Nothing against the cast.

Umm, I think I honorarily qualify to mark this drama complete from the few random episodes I saw here and there with Jelena and Amarina. Apparently I watched the lesser entertaining episodes and yet I was able to predict ALMOST the entire plot from the beginning. It basically follows a very standard and average xianxia plot. From what I've been told, most of the "dark" arc (that I missed) went in circles so I didn't miss much. The ending was....different than what I was expecting. I think most people would hate it, but it is refreshing. I personally was bored watching this series, but again I've been told I ended up joining the watch party on the boring episodes. Tbh, I didn't care much for this couple either. *runs and hides*  Oh, but I was a fan of the evil brother.

The last two episodes were extremely disappointing, especially that last episode which was a complete waste of time. I'm so pissed they went that route. I was like "REALLY!? In the LAST episode!?" The only reason I'm not as disappointed as other people is probably cuz I binged this drama. I'd imagine if I watched this drama for weeks, I'd be even more pissed or would've dropped. Too bad. 197. K for Kimbap

    Korean TV Show - 2024, 2 episodes

    5.0

I thought the first episode was more interesting than the second. The first episode features various types of kimbaps from different regions throughout South Korea. The second episode focuses on how popular kimbap is around the world and touches a little bit on the ingredients.

  • First Love

    198. First Love

    Korean Drama - 2025, 6 episodes

    7.0

It's an anthology so I'm not sure how to rate this. Some episodes were more interesting than others. I'd rate them between 6-7.

  • Forgotten

    199. Forgotten

    Korean Movie - 2017

    8.5

I've heard multiple movie critics rave about this movie. I finally got a chance to check it out. It was mind bending. I loved it. At some points I was holding my breath. I can't remember the last time a thriller made me feel this way. Ok I can, but it's been a few years.

  • Left-Handed Girl

    200. Left-Handed Girl

    Taiwanese Movie - 2025

    8.0

Indie film, but I really loved it. The little girl was the absolute cutest and a great child actress. I loved the cinematography and how this was filmed. When it came to the little girl's scenes, they would shoot from a low angle so that you could see things from her perspective. I also love the whole plot of unsupervised children in general. Anyways, I found it to be enjoyable, but it probably wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea.
