The first drama that came to mind is True to Love :)Pretty please recommend me others who meet and fall in love…
Sorry for the late reply. As for Korean dramas, there are quite a few: My Liberation Notes She Would Never Know Hospital Playlist S1-S2 (although it focuses more on friendship and life, there are three couples who meet as adults) Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha Crash Landing on You Salon De Nabi (Slice of Life, but the romance is quite cute) Angel's Last Mission Love (fantasy) Oh My Venus Love to Hate You You Are My Destiny One Spring Night Oh My Ghost (supernatural) Something About 1 Percent Doctor John Ugly Alert (long drama) Mad for Each Other The Package Please Don't Date Him Ga Doo Ri’s Sushi Restaurant
But as you can see, most of the dramas I recommend are from 2022 and earlier. My interest in romantic Korean dramas has decreased quite a bit because, for some reason, I feel like Korean dramas have declined or maybe I'm just getting bored. But if you haven't watched them yet, you can still check them out because they are good.
I'm more interested in Chinese dramas lately. If I were to recommend Chinese dramas, here they are: Reset (more into mystery and fantasy, but the romance is very good) Meet Yourself (highly recommended; quite slow-paced because it also focuses on life, but believe me, it is very worth it) Love Between Lines Forever and Ever Fake It Till You Make It Why is He Still Single (more about life and comedy, but the romance is good) Dine With Love Definitely Not Today
not a fan of second-chance romances, so I'm not really interested in the main character. Prefer stories where strangers meet and fall in love as adults, and the second couple has been really interesting so far.
Which two couples are still together? Thinking about watching it
- Hou Chengjie (Jeffrey) and Ren Jiabi (Wowo) - Wan Xiao and Zhang Weiying (Kaka)
In addition, two male contestants who successfully found partners are catfish (contestants who joined later), so it might take 2–3 episodes to spot them.
I remember seeing on X that there were 2 couples rumored to be together after the show before it even aired, but I forgot who they were. Does anyone know?
I agree i loved both of those especially because the FL in both TBT and LBL actually was equally affectionate…
That’s definitely Meet Yourself. It’s a little slow at first, but trust me, it’s totally worth it. And the female lead in this drama is exactly as you described. In my opinion, it’s the most greenflag female lead in a C-drama.
Forever and Ever, Fake It Till You Make It, and Sniper Butterfly are also great ones that fit your description.
Will Love in Spring is good because the female lead acts her age, but I’m not sure about the balanced affection (you’ll have to watch it yourself to judge) but you’ll get plenty of kisses, so I think it’s worth a try 😅.
You Are My Glory and Hidden Love are the opposite. You get balanced affection, but I’m not sure if the female lead acts her age. Still, I think they’re worth watching.
This is one of those dramas with the best story buildup. The first two episodes set the stage perfectly, leaving us eagerly anticipating the next episode. It reminds me of Meet Yourself (C-drama) and My Liberation Notes, both of which have great story buildup.
But I found the storyline involving the female lead and her ex to be quite distracting and unnecessary. I’m more interested in seeing how the female lead progresses in her career.
Decided to watch this because season 5 just aired. I understand why, when scrolling down the comments, many people say it's bad, but in some of the recent reviews, they say it's good. In my opinion, aside from one couple, the cast lacked romantic chemistry at the beginning of the show. With a total of 26 episodes, it felt very slow-paced, especially if you watched it while it was ongoing. But trust me, if you just have a little patience, you are the lucky ones who get to watch it after it has finished airing.
This is one of those dating shows where all the cast members are incredibly genuine and kind. I don't think there's a single cast member I disliked, they all have their own distinct charms. Some people have their flaws, but if you watch until the end, you'll see that they are all good people. And because they are so sincere, their friendship is arguably the best out of any dating show. I never expected to see such a great friendship on a dating show where the cast members are mostly in their 30s.
As for the romance, it was indeed lacking in the beginning, but the second half was really good. There is one couple that everyone talks about, and I get it—they are incredibly sweet. However, I think the other couple is fantastic too. Maybe it's because I was more drawn to them individually and I like their genre more. He silently does thoughtful things for her without getting in her way, and she finally notices his efforts and falls in love with him. Their love story is beautiful, and you'll miss out if you skip it.
The fact that those two couples are still together makes me appreciate this show even more.
