Yeah, this is probably the slowest-burning drama I’ve ever seen 😂, but since it has 40 episodes, the story unfolds nicely, and at least there are plenty of moments where they’re together.

I hope you enjoy this. It’s more of a slice-of-life story, realistic and mature— and the romance develops more slowly compared to Hidden Love, but trust me, the romance is definitely worth the wait. There are also many supporting characters here, each with their own struggles. At first, I tried to skip over their stories, but it turned out I actually grew to love each of their stories and their struggles.
done watching, it’s truly a masterpiece. A slice of life, slow burn, realistic drama. Actually, there’s so much I want to discuss about this drama, but one thing I need to highlight is that the female lead in this drama is one of the green-flag female lead in the world of C-dramas. When it comes to green-flag FL, before watching this drama, I always only thought of the FL in Hidden Love, but after watching this drama, there’s finally another FL who can be called a green-flag. Interestingly, their faces are quite similar, and I can picture them as real siblings in the real life 😁
5 episodes in and I'm having a hard time shipping our couple but intrigued enough to keep going. The storyline…
Keep watching! I was also bothered when the male lead forced a kiss on the female lead, but later, during the flashback scene in the middle of the episode, the reason why he "can" did it will be explained. Their flashback scenes are really great in my opinion. I really love the little details shown in those flashback scenes.
i miss them so much am about to rewatch it but do you guys have any cdrama recommendations similar to this show…
Lovely Us is one of the best in its genre. It’s a youth, slice-of-life series with a slight romance. It might be a bit slow in the early episodes, but trust me, it’ll be worth it.

Don’t get me wrong, i still recommend this drama to those of you who want to watch a light hearted drama with plenty of sweet romantic moments and a refreshing vibe. With its chemistry, visuals, cinematography, soundtrack, and a few other plus points, this drama is definitely worth watching. But when it comes to healthy relationships, I think theirs relationship seems healthy because ML is just too good.
needed to come back here after watching this drama when it first come out because people on social media were always recommending it, but for some reason I never added it to my list of favorite dramas, until I started remembering it. CMIIW because I watched this drama right when it first came out, so I might have forgotten some details. This drama is actually good, but one thing that really bothers me is the FL character. Especially when it comes to putting effort into their relationship. I feel like it’s only the ML who’s always trying to make the relationship work. I didn’t like it when FL rejected ML during his first confession. I know FL has trauma because she just broke up, but even though ML showed his affection, she really enjoyed it and even flirted back, yet when ML confessed, she rejected him. After that, I hoped FL would feel a little guilty after rejecting him and show some effort, but she didn’t. Once again, it’s ML who puts in the effort to keep their relationship going, even though at that time ML needed support because of his relationship with his father. And ML had to make even more sacrifices because FL had to study abroad when they were in a relationship. In their relationship, it’s always ML who helps with the little things. ML helps FL with her insomnia, ML helps FL with her work, ML helps FL with her relationship with her parents. And other little things when they’re on a date at home, it’s always ML who prepares everything, like cooking and so on.
