Last time I watched was ep 12. There were some minor issues from the bad people, but it was still fun since there were plenty of sweet moments between the main couple. I paused watching for a bit cause the previews kinda scared me. So, should I just watch eps 13–16 now or save them for later? Are there more problems than sweet moments in those eps?
The moment Madam Yu sent lady zuo after our FL, she's also in my hit list. I want Yu family to be completely destroyed
I'm totally fine with any scenario as long as Yu Jing Xiu gets what he deserves lol😅. He's so selfish but he thinks he’s doing the right thing. This guy seriously needs to get humbled.
Lady Duo and Yake competing against each other every episode to see who’s gonna piss me off the most 🙄 I…
As annoyed as I was with Ya Ke in the early episodes, I honestly don't care about her anymore 😂. With the way she behaves, she’s just digging her own grave.
At some points, I felt a little sympathy for Lady Zhuo. Only if she had directed her grudge toward Old Madam Fu, who clearly ruined her life instead of the FL. But because of what she did to the FL, she's just more annoying.
As for Madam Yu, no matter how much she admires the FL, she is a woman who will do anything for her family, especially her son Yu Jing Xiu. And it feels like Yu Jing Xiu is a character who's going to get his karma (I hope so), so she will most likely become an enemy, maybe even the final enemy? Because she is the smartest one among them all.
I don't really watch historical dramas, so all these villains are honestly stressing me out, and there are just so many of them😭. At first, I really wanted Yu Jing Xiu to get his karma first. But Lady Zhou pissed me off so bad with what she did to the FL in episode 12, so now I want her to go down first. Lu Da Hu also looks like he’s going to be super annoying in the next few episodes. I’m seriously so annoyed lol, the bad people just keep coming😅.
As for Fan Ya Ke, she’s just not that smart. The way she acts, she's clearly digging her own grave, so I don’t even care about her. For the grandmother, I know the FL has to get her revenge, but honestly i just want the grandmother to see the FL become super successful without needing some political marriage. Madam Yu is still a gray area for me. She likes the FL, but since she’s Yu Jing Xiu mom, she’ll definitely protect her son. That means she’s bound to cause trouble later.
So, for those who read the novel, please give me some spoilers! What’s the order of the villains getting their karma according to the novel? I’d appreciate it if you could explain what happens to them, but if not, no worries!
I don't usually watch historical dramas, but this show is seriously getting better every episode. Guess it’s because you rarely see this kind of theme. Love seeing how they both start from zero.
This drama drags out the youth phase way too much. It honestly feels like a massive character introduction that eats up 17 episodes, which is more than half the show.
It tries to be a slice-of-life drama with different issues and lessons every episode, but it just fails to deliver any real depth or realism. Lovely Us has the exact same concept but does it way better. Another drama that nails the youth phase is Always Home. For me, those two are the absolute best when it comes to youth dramas.
Don't get me wrong, this show isn't terrible, but if the youth phase was just for introductions, it didn't need 17 episodes. They should've either cut it short or made it actually matter to the main story.
The chemistry is spot on for the romance, and the comedy is entertaining enough to get some good laughs. Both really capture what a romcom should be. I’m not sure why there’s so much criticism about this drama.
I know your concern because Love Actually S5 set the bar very high😂
Many couples dating outside the show. All the characters are likable, some have flaws, but they all have great development. The friendship is also good. It is likely the best dating show ever made
