Aside from the biggest mystery of how she'll be rezzed and why such a long time skip, I wonder how long are they gonna make Naksu incognito?
Many people know her face - Park Jin and his retinue of mages, Jin Mu and his cronies, Yul, Heo Yeom, etc. As soon as she shows her face around it's inevitable somebody's bound to recognize her. And since she's still a criminal I wonder how that goes for her.

I just wish Yul will move on already and find himself another girl to love.

That's all good and fine but doesn't answer my question about her weird behaviour. If she needed him that much like she looks to be, she wouldn't have been able to stay away from him for so long. And he wasn't hiding or anything, she easily could have found him through his relatives and visited him.
What's more, ML clearly still needs time and space to recover from his past. Since he didn't contact her yet, why'd she think it's ok to force him to come back together? He clearly looks like he doesn't want to. ML broke up with her, but it was even mentioned in the last episode that she doesn't get why.
I think they're simply making her look like your typicial toxic ex, who's like "He's doing fine without me and meeting another woman to boot? Not on my watch!". Your typical third wheeler insert for annoyance sake, that sort of thing.

I don't get something about the annoying ex - why she barged into ML's life now? She hasn't seen him in a while - he left his job, served in the army, started working with his uncle. But it's not like he went to another country, she could have checked up on him if she wanted to. But now, suddenly after she's seen him again by chance, she goes into "berserk" mode like a bull seeing a red flag - gotta make him mine again, because I'm lonely or whatever. Very inconsistent behaviour, she seemed very fine without him, but now she acts as if she can't live without him. And doesn't matter to her that ML looks very uncomfortable with her advances, because he started a new life and wants to get away from his past.

Yea, I don't even know what to say about ML and FL's overdue romance suddenly lifting off and immediately crash landing in bed, but chef and webtoon writer are cute. I'm rooting for them, they look like the only real potentional couple to come out of that phoney reality show.

Clearly you didn't get a lot about ML and/or didn't care to get it. And those supposedly terrible things that ML had done can be narrowed down to him mistreating his secretaries due to his nasty personality, for which FL made him pay for. The rest wasn't his fault actually - other people either made him a scapegoat for their own problems or wanted to ruin and even kill him for their own selfish reasons. And he didn't do anything new since the start of the drama so I'm not sure what made you hate him in later episodes, especially considering him undergoing great character development with FL's help.
And you missed the whole message of this drama - forgiveness.
But whatever, can never change someone's opinion about a drama anyway 🙄 .

We have a lift off finally, but something's still off. I get that the prelude with this couple may not have been necessary, because they've known each other for decades. But I'm still not getting any romantic vibes from them, there's little to no chemistry. Not sure what's going on here, is it the script or the actors?

I wasn't talking about his backstory (though 2.5 episodes was criminally too long for 12 episodes drama), I'm talking about the penultimate episode, which was a total filler that ended right where it started but one year later. Absolutely unnecessary and again, criminal for 12 episodes drama.

It's not probably, it was confirmed she was saved by Jin women.
And I doubt Naksu's body was snatched from the pyre while everyone was watching. And they did show a close up shot - it was her. Somebody could have done a magically altered body switcheroo prior to that, but nobody had any reason to at that moment. I think her og body is really ash and there will be something else that resurrects her.

Or he may think she's some sort of living artifact from Jin vault or somesuch, taking her likeness. The biggest mystery is how her return will be presented, I'm betting on the artifacts.

It's one of the points because romance in dramas is in high demand all the time. Even in this drama's comment section whether it has romance between the leads or not was the most frequent question from people who were on the fence whether to watch it or not.
And chemistry was there, but it was wasted.

She's a very nice actress, can play completely different roles. And this year she's everywhere it seems - ABP, AoS, EAW, this one...
But her nickname is "I'VE NO CHINGU!" forever now for me, because it's such a meme 🤣

You're right, she does look kinda similar to Crazy Love's ex with trying to get together with ML as if nothing happened, but that ex was another kind of delulu. There she ditched ML herself many years ago to save his ass from being killed by her chaebol father, but she still loved him.
But here I'm not sure what's going on with this ex. It's wasn't her fault they broke up, but it doesn't look like love to me, more like obsession due to loneliness and maybe a need to prove something to her mother?
And somehow she's very annoying here right off the bat with her unsubtle attempts to get together again. Maybe because she's not as classy as that ex in Crazy Love, or maybe because ML there made it clear from the start that he won't be giving her any second chances.

One thing for sure out of this - love polygons will continue because the writers just can't help themselves.
