FL's cheating bf deserves a high kick into the stratosphere. F*cking hate that guy. What a cowardly, lying piece of shit! But overall I liked this break-up episode, FL acted it well. Looked painfully real. It looks like a serious drama so far, not much comedy here.
Still no subs, I was always frustrated with the Oasis drama by waiting for the subs, but they at least released…
Does TVING has to have English subs though? It's not an international streaming service. And if it's not airing on official international services then wait for volunteer unofficial subs and calm down.
why the drop in ratings ?? let me guess , they focused more on romance & fluffy moments instead of actual cases…
Actually, no. It's still mostly about cases and revenge. My guess there's nothing fresh here and that it's a saeguk isn't helping either. Or maybe what the majority wants is romance & fluffy moments, but there's barely any, hence the low ratings.
I disagree about the verdict of the last case, but I guess in Joseon times prisons and labor camps were non-existant. For murder it's either off with your head or off you go...
It is similar to The Menu with its message, but I found FL here unrealistic. People train to become chefs for many years, she only knew how to cook street food/wok and suddenly she's an ace with all these crazy recipies and techniques that require not just raw genius, but tons of practice and thorough knowledge of theory. It wasn't shown that she had spent a lot of time in Hunger to become so knowledgable, a year max maybe. So it was just looking ridiculous. Other than that, it's a good enough drama and I liked the ending, it had the same message as in The Menu, but without being too pretentious. 7 out of 10.
Chansung pls choose a nice guy the next time. He always has annoying characetrs
Yea, I'm getting biased just by looking at him here. Too many annoying characters in previous dramas. Still remember him being a cheating jerk in Suspicious Partner most vividly.
Honestly I am trying this because of the cast. I missed Yoo In Na after Snowdrop. I also like Yoon Hyun Min and…
I like the actress as well, but there's something off with the script here, I think. Dunno how to put it into words...Banter doesn't match the acting? Banter is too verbose? Not enough comedy? It's just simply not funny? And it's not just YIN, seems like almost everyone is trying too hard, but it comes off as weird. And whoever is behind the camera they're not doing a very skilled work, looks half-assed at times.
Anyway, I'm kinda disappointed, I know this actress can do better, absolutely loved her in Touch Your Heart, one of my favorite dramas. Now it kinda looks like it was done on a whole other level compared to this one. YIN was great in Snowdrop too, all older generation actors were. Politicians and spies stole the show. Romance there was total cringe though, FL was a very annoying dumbass and shouldn't have hired a noob idol actress for a lead role. And not to mention Goblin, secondary couple was the only thing that kept me from dropping it hard.
So far I'm only liking here FL's spoiled brat of a sister and that good soldier boy story. More interesting than watching FL live in her fantasies or petulant ML. Soldier boy somehow reminds me of Midnight Runners movie. But anyway, it's been just two episodes, maybe it'll get better later, I'll hold on some more. I think to make it interesting they should drop the leads' broken previous relationship baggage asap and focus on them working together. But if they gonna drag it then I'm out, I think.
I don't have any pop-ups there, I'm using Opera browser, it comes with preinstalled blockers that also block those annoying YouTube ads. But there are widgets and settings in other browsers that prevent pop-ups and ads.
Played the first episode with my family last night, wanting a nice funny comedy but was hit with an excessive…
The first episode doesn't give this show justice, watch at least few more and you'll see why so many people like it. And if your parents are so prudish about swearing then don't watch it with them.
Only 1 episode aired and already questions about romance 🤣. Characters barely met! Anyway, there's no romance tag for this. So far. And many action comedy dramas don't have it at all.
