I am a little baffled at the comments seriously 1st at their perception of the drama and second about their perception…
I don't care about realism in media if it gets in the way of fun. This drama is just not fun to watch, it's plain boring. Media should be entertaining, ideally it should touch some strings in the viewers, so liking or hating it is better than feeling bored and indifferent. And media is escapism from reality, nobody wants to relax to depressing shit they can see everyday irl.
I don't want to complain but, both in the poster and in the teaser, the FL seems weak, fragile which is totally…
You mean compared to her badass old self when she was a mage assassin? But she lost and as of yet has not regained her magic powers. And from the teasers you can't tell whether she'll get her powers back along with her og body. Maybe she never will, because it is not known what happens to her yet, or how she got her og body back and at what cost. Her body may still possess two souls inside, with Bu-Yeon still blocking her powers. But it's not like she hasn't accepted her fate, after all, she gave up the chance to regain them for love. Personally, I do wish she'd get her powers back and kill that slippery slytherin villain. He ruined her life the most, so she's the one who should off him for good.
As for the poster, I like it, it's very intimate. But I think I liked that first one with the jade eggs even more.
Lead couple are such a snoozefest to watch, good on their own, but 0 romantic chemistry together. I'm on the verge of dropping this boring show, but I'm already 13 episodes in...
i dont understand all this reaction about seo yul, his feelings for naksu never went away. he just said he'll…
Go Won is a mild third wheeler compared to Yul, he's mainly there as an antagonist to ML and as comic relief. But who knows what he's gonna do when he sees Naksu in og body, he's a very petty character.
I just finished watching season 1. I'm confused. Her original body was burnt in public. How is it going to be…
She was fished out from the lake by the Jin clan women, it was confirmed. And mama Jin ordered to find her alive to find out whose body she was possessing. So it's probably gonna be some artifact or some magical mumbo jumbo from Jin clan vault that resurrects her. Why her though and not Bu-Yeon - 🤷♂️
I just finished my rewatch yesterday and I agree about the 2nd half (it took me a month (!) to finish rewatching…
Yea, I think it could have been perfect with 20 episodes total, not 20+10. I hope those extra 10 part 2 episodes will be on the level of the first half, not the second half, and with nothing rushed in the last episode like it frequently is in kdramas.
I'm rewatching AoS with a friend right now and damn, first half is so tight and gripping. Every episode is more than an hour long but we just don't notice it. It's also very bingable as it turns out. Too bad that second half, starting from fake Bu-Yeon plot introduction, becomes meandering, starts going around in circles. But still, I'm looking forward to finishing it again to be fresh for part 2.
This girl must be adopted i guessHe is lawyers as per tag mentioned above. So that means the girl from of his…
Why do you think she's adopted? So far nothing points to that. ML daughter's mother shacked with another guy and moved to US and it's over between them (watch episode 1 where ML's male friend from the convenience store says so). She likely just ditched their daughter onto ML and his mother. And ML had to take care of her alone, especially after his mother died. He left his lawyer job and started doing jobs closer to the hospital to be together with his daughter as much as possible.
Sometimes shit like that just happens and it's not pretty, it's life. Props to ML for being such a responsible dad. Good news though is that leukemia in children is curable, so his daughter has a chance to survive this. But he sure sacrificed A LOT for her.
Grandma just confirmed it. But it was ML's friend who works at the convenience store with him who mentioned it in detail in episode 1. He accused ML of trying too hard for his daughter as if he commited a crime, but in his opinion it's that woman who's evil for moving to US and shacking with some other guy. And ML replied that it's over between them, but she's still his daughter's mom. So she's not dead, she's definitely not FL, she's just some woman who ditched them. Maybe we'll even see her returning as "annoying ex" trope.
No, it was mentioned it was some woman who ditched ML and her daughter and ran away with another man to US. ML's daughter got obsessed with FL because somebody said she resembles her mother or something like that. And since she can't reach her mother she started writing letters to FL.

It may be a problem, if true. If he still does feel that way and will take advantage of FL's amnesia, it's just gonna make people hate his third wheeling even more. I'm hoping he'll just be there as a friend though, but as you say - he's SML and it's Hong sisters.
What's the worse that can happen? We already got the lowest part of the plot at the end of part 1, per classical…
Well, I'm sure they'll still have unexpected twists in part 2, part 1 had many of those. So you'll still get your expectation subversion shot. But I don't think they'll shoot themselves in the foot and do something out of the left field concerning how it's gonna end. And by that I mean a happy ending.
tbh, i don't have much hope in a happy ending or an satisfying ending or plot because i just can't trust the hong…
What's the worse that can happen? We already got the lowest part of the plot at the end of part 1, per classical plot structure it should only get better from there. And I doubt they'd repeat themselves by trying to kill off the leads again. Though they may sacrifice SML (Yul), because that's many a SML's fate in kdramas.
I really don't like the amnesia trope, but I hope they'll get over that soon due to part 2's short format and the rest of the time will be spent on finally getting revenge on the villain, mending relationships and closing many loose ends left from part 1.
The only thing to worry about here, I think, is that they may rush the ending and that some characters may not be getting a satisfying resolution (Bu-Yeon, for example).
Looks fine so far, but why the heck FL's manager tells her to read her mail herself? There are lots of crazy people out there who are after celebrities. So who knows what's in that mail - from death threats to anthrax. That's management's job to browse through it first and give it to a celebrity only if it's safe.
Personally, I do wish she'd get her powers back and kill that slippery slytherin villain. He ruined her life the most, so she's the one who should off him for good.
