im not sure if i like Queen tbh.. (the og one who has returned)
The real queen turned out to be a bitch as well 🤣
I only wonder how she's still lucid after being drugged for 10 years.

Mama Jin is extremely dense. That's just another proof right there 😂

She's a soul shifter - if she used her powers she'd have killed everyone inside the ice stone barrier.
Those were minor compared to what was required to lower the barrier - Uk used all of his energy to do so. If she were to gather so much energy, it would have killed everyone.

1. Jang Kang's reveal and redemption were atrocious. Even though he shat everywhere and on everything he could…
Actually, we don't know whether you're soul shifter for life even after soul shifting back. This was the first time it was shown. But I agree, logically I assumed he no longer is. But with today's episode it also makes Naksu's fate uncertain if she were to return to her og body.

There was no mention that Jang Kang was a descendant of Songrim founder. Children being born under certain stars do so randomly, not in the same families through generations.

About Jin Mu - I think he got away. And he's not a Choi, it was never said he was. Or are you saying the shaman did soul shift - into Jin Mu? Didn't look like it when he was talking with CP. And what was shown in the preview with shaman using bells - I think it was a scene from the past. The shaman probably Jin Mu about the bells - and he's going to use them to hypnotize Mu-Deok. Not sure whom exactly though - Bu-Yeon or Naksu. He's has close ties to both.

Jin Mu's a snake who'd betray anyone to save his skin.

I hope they not gonna continue his third wheeling in part 2. Girl clearly rejected him now.

If we don't get a ChoDang proposal, I will drop one ⭐
Yea, too many overly draggy scenes in earlier episodes, but now they rush important things by the end. The bane of many kdramas - pacing! Why is it so damn hard to properly pace the plot? Ugh 😒

Jang Gang's return/conclusion wouldn't have been such a let down if it wasn't hyped from literally the first episode,…
Yea, exacly. They mishandled him completely. I'm very disappointed.

Ok, first things first, why do the showrunners have such a big desire to lie and mislead people in the previews…
1. Jang Kang's reveal and redemption were atrocious. Even though he shat everywhere and on everything he could 20 years ago, he cowardly ran away and turned his son's life miserable on the a very weak pretence. And he's still is a soul shifter somehow, though returned to his body - implications are unpleasant as to how his managed to stay alive. And only now that he's already so unwell he followed Master Lee's command and turned himself in, only to die immediately after. Yea, he interrupted the shaman's ritual maybe, I'm still sus about this. But no explanations from him, no goodbyes with Uk, maidservant Kim, or Park Jin were shown. So much buildup about his return, but it was just a fizzle in the end.🤦‍♂️At least I get it now where he got the information about the alchemy of souls to begin with - shaman's book. And after desperate mama Jin asked him to save her dead daughter he stole the ice stone from her later. What a fool.
2. What happened to So-i???
3. I'm sus about the queen and the shaman, did Park Jin kill the queen's body by hurling a spell at her? Why the queen is still inside shaman's body? Surely there are still soul ejectors out there. Is it really the queen now in shaman's body?
4. Did papa Jin survive? They've said that the bride's father is in bad shape.
5. Why nobody arrested Jin Mu?
6. What will happen to Yul now that there's a Jin worm inside him? Also, why was it so easy to remove it? Didn't the villains say to So-i that it's in her head now and can kill her if she disobeys? Also, how the ef that small worm works as a blood transfustion, lol?
7. CP is very jelly, we'll see what they make of him now that he knows Uk was the real King's Star.

Ok, first things first, why do the showrunners have such a big desire to lie and mislead people in the previews and tease with false scenes? Those "wedding" scenes fooled no one since last week. We all know how it's gonna go already - bad guy's last attempt to pull a dirty trick on the good guys, no happy ending and a cliffhanger because part 2 is incoming.
Second, I was extremely disappointed with handling of Jang Kang's character.
The rest below in spoilers:

That's false. Stop spreading nonsense.

you have to separate the actors from their characters? like the whole thing about alchemy of souls is that Uk…
Lol, Dr. Who is a generational show with no end in sight. Every generation had their own Dr. Who, the actor was changed so often nobody cares who it is anymore - man, woman, old timer, youngster, who cares...
But AoS has very specific and tight story to tell with a definitive ending. Can't really compare these two shows.

No, the other guy is right, it's gonna be awkward af. This has nothing to do with what you're saying. This whole plot twist is getting even weirder exactly because the leads already got very chummy with each other, ML even said he finds Mu-Deok pretty as a whole now, not just her soul shifted eyes. No matter what people say, you can't really separate loving one's mind and personality from the body. You accept and love a person as a whole. For example, take irl situation - you've got a girlfriend, you know her body and face and got comfortable with her. One day a complete stranger appears and says: "Heya, it's me your girlfriend!". And you honestly wouldn't bat an eyelash at this? Won't be freaked out and uncomfortable? I'm sure when this happens in AoS they will have to address this and leads relationship may very well take a step back because of it.

Ans same goes for the audience as well - we barely got any scenes with GYJ, we never really got enough time to get attached to her face on screen. But JSM was there with us for 20 episodes straight as FL, going through hell and high water with ML, so of course readjusting to a new face playing the same character will not be a seamless process for many people. This whole plot twist is a daring experiment from script writers, it's far from common - there's no knowing how the audience will react to it in the end, they may have dug themselves a grave here.

No i would say goblin
I severely disagree about putting Goblin on the same level as AOS. Also, it had a different genre and vibe to it - contemporary supernatural snoozefest. But that’s my opinion of course.
I haven’t seen many kdramas of the same level of quality in a similar genre. Maybe only Kingdom.

If JSM's character is not coming back for s2, you know why in the first place they casted a rookie actress and…
That’s some dumb reach of logic 🙄 They needed an actress who can do a good job and be the lead for 20(!) episodes, the majority of this show’s episode count. They needed a lead who can captivate the audience to watch so many episodes. It’s dumb to think of her like some disposable minor character they could ditch without the audience caring. It’s FL, of course the audience will care. And many people got attached to her face, it’s not a book after all, but a show you watch with your eyes on screen, instead of simply imagining it while reading.
So this has nothing to do with her being or not being a rookie. Also, The Four Seasons are rookies too, but nobody’s ditching them in part 2, and I’m sure people’d be just as pissed off if ML, or say, CP were swapped for some other actor.
Will the rumored GYJ be able to play Naksu just as well remains to be seen. Her scenes so far were too scarce to make any definitive answer. But she can do action scenes well, for sure. Not that it’s the main focus of this drama.
