I've seen up to episode 9, I'm not seeing it so far. He may want to rebel, but his delusions concerning FL are an utter narcissistic idiocy.

Sure, it's unfair. But I'm sure the actress knows what to do and looks like has already taken action. Personally, I think this is just a sign of her success, with tons of popularity comes tons of hate, just because.

What it means is that her script what got the project greenlit. However, it's quite easy to get a project greenlit when it's based on an already vetted novel anyway.

And look, if the new script what was gonna make it a hit, then clearly the first script had problems. It's just business, everybody wants a better product. She got paid for her work, no doubt, so that's that.
Her crashing out saying that it would have passed if it wasn't Bai Lu starring in the project just sounds ridiculous and not in her favor - it just sounds that her work was of lower quality only good for sub par dramas with lower tier actors.
