If it happens, it's probably because of the edict. FL's mother and father were involved with it and ML may get angry because his family almost got wiped out because it was lost.

It looked like such a hail mary, but I guess FL is know-it-all/read-it-all to figure it out just by few ambigous clues. Looks like she already knew about the poem even before we did.

Are they like really really gonna kill off that Cangbei princess? Her relationship with that merchant guy is one of the better written ones in here and her character is nice as well. Would be a real shame if she dies like that, even that villain's illegitimate son got a second chance.

I've heard better. The real highlight here is the background music, that one is one of the best.
