No intrigue? You don't see the intrigue? I'm really confused.
I mean there's no intrigue whether FL is ML's wife - she is, she just fell into a river and lost her memory. She has the same voice and face down to a freckle, but ML is confused like she's a masked Batman or smth. Dragging this out for 12 episodes doesn't sound like an appealing watch, if that's what they're going for. ML should already be investigating where she came from, who found her and what they know, instead of asking a thousand stupid questions trying to jog her memory or whatever. There's also no intrigue who's the main villain or what his plans are - it's as usual some shady minister with all the power in court who wants to use ML as a sperm donor to get a puppet grandson he could rule through. He was also the one who invented that whole plot against FL and SML to depose them. So what else is left? Body swap? I'm not sure this drama even needs it, but let's see how it goes. But it sounds like it was a very boring cliche plot and writers didn't know what else to do to liven things up but insert some fantasy into it.
Can anyone explain what family the crown princess comes from before she lost her memories? I'm sure she's the…
Haven't you seen the subplot about a woman's who's husband died and his relatives wanted her to die? She's not part of her father's family anymore after marriage, them's were the rules back then. He can't take her back. So they could still be mourning her somewhere back in the country, but nobody cares. Also, they're likely just not relevant to the plot and looks like not even part of the court. Though I'm curious how the prince was even allowed to marry her if she wasn't approved by the court and they've invented this for whole plot to depose her.
Uh, I really wanted to, but I'm not feeling it. This drama's too dumb for me, I guess. There's barely any intrigue, chemistry is meh, lots of empty talk and few useless characters eating away at the screen time. I also think FL actress was miscast here, there's a certain type that looks good in saeguks, and she ain't it. Even though I do like her in contemporary dramas.
Let me preface this by saying it’s a 10/10 for me so far……..but you have to REALLY suspend disbelief. In…
The laziest part was the ventilation duct that connected prison blocks to the visitors’ area. And of course being of that specific large size, which you can only encounter in cinema.
Uh, where are they going with these Hunger games or whatever it is at the end of episode 4? Tbh, I was looking forward to ML escaping and starting to plot revenge. It’s rather tiresome to see his continual suffering in that crazy caricature of a jail. The main villain is also tiresome - yet another one of those unhinged delulu chaebols with infinite power and money. What a beaten to death cliche, and actor’s performance is so cringe. 🤮
They've explained it already. The left minister has all the real power and wants to marry his daughter to him…
The usual power struggle and corruption in court. For example, the old queen who's alive doesn't like the left minister, as he's from another family clan. Historically the real power in court was held by powerful family clans, who through nepotism assigned their relatives all the juicy state positions. They all perpetually plot and try to undermine each other, it's all very boring, really. I hope they're not gonna focus on this in this drama though, it's been beaten to death in almost every historical kdrama out there.
This is some intense stuff. But these plots about maniacal evil chaebols with infinite power and money to make anything happen for lulz are really getting out of hand lately.

They've basically spilled all the beans already. I'm sure they'll show what happened later in detail, but nobody's even trying to keep it a mystery. Rather disappointing, tbh. Hopefully the comedy will be good.
and dal I is definitely his wife but I'm so much curious the reason behind his wife's death
They've explained it already. The left minister has all the real power and wants to marry his daughter to him to provide an heir. Then the minister plans to kill him and rule through his grandson. So the minister framed his wife that she killed his mother, then she was supposed to drink poison as punishment but was found drowned. Somebody apparently helped her survive somehow, but she has lost her memory. The drowned body was somebody else's obv.
Well, it was kinda funny, but there’s no intrigue from the get go. The villain, what happened to FL and the typical SML are introduced right in the first episode. ML is also your typical powerless king type who holds no power in court. So far, a typical saeguk with nothing new. Probably gonna be entertaining only for the comedy.
That One Dollar Lawyer recommendation triggers me. That was such a huge disappointment and waste of superb actors talents. I hope this new drama will have a better, unrushed plot.
What's this gonna be about, I wonder. Are they gonna swap bodies for the whole drama? That'd be quite awkward, it's not like both characters are female like in Alchemy of Souls.
You should stop posting these "scandalous" news. First of all, dating somebody is not a scandal, unless they're already married to somebody else. Second, nobody cares. People want to read drama news, not news about actors private affairs.

FL is more or less ok. But everybody's acting feels very forced.
