did the writer forget that this is a romcom?
He decided to change genre to makjang.

For those who were saying there at least won't be an amnesia cliche - you jinxed it!

Also i liked the scene when his brother said your motives are dishonest going to his friend's house. Abd again…
It was a very funny line. Adding him often talking to AI here was done on purpose for lulz.

Right? For all the negativity initially, thus others abandoning, I too am so enjoying this drama and would say…
Btw, ML's drama age is not the same as irl. It's late 40s.

All actors are doing great here.

He told how he does things to FL in the last episode. If threats aren't working, he's eliminating people. SFL quit immediately after SML got hurt, so there was no need to do anything else. And again, he doesn't give a f about his half-brother.

Personally, this show became too cringey to watch. FFding scenes because of too many dumb tropes and cliches. And the beginning spark of the main couple went away halfway through the show already. Speedrunning this to the finish.

Half brother. And that guy is evil, with no redeemable qualities.

For the 1st time ever, I FF through some of the Ep. 14 scenes because I could see that they weren't advancing…
I’m not sure what you are confused about. Sure, the secondary couple scenes feel like they were tacked on at times, and they may not be very interesting as characters in general. But there’s nothing illogical in the plot. In fact, it’s quite intricate and well thought out, if you’re paying attention. And the main couple’s romance is advancing, they even went on a date already despite the chaos.

The evil brother did that to SML not because he hated him (though, being evil I'm sure he hates everybody), but because he wanted to threaten SFL, who was about to release a bombshell article about him. That’s why she left SML, to protect him from further harm. It was explained in the episode, but you probably missed it due to FF. Same story’s about to happen to the main couple.

Mothers hate each other because of the professional jealousy spanning decades. Was also explained earlier.

Kwon Se-Na is just an ordinary delulu bish working for the evil brother. Basic archetype.

That fighting scene at the parking lot with the stunt team, lol. Hilarious 🤣.
ML and the director have the funniest scenes in this drama.

We all knew that the child was his...Hope we get more of their story.... She's a good mother!Evil brother
Tbh, that second couple is not very interesting to watch. These support characters are only interesting in the context that they are involved in the evil brother plot, are part of FL's workplace and are butting in the main couple's affairs. I'm not even sure lack of screentime is the problem.

on episode 10, ML just cant catch a break isnt he :"))) at first i thought that he's such a spoiled prick,…
Yea, and ML is getting more mature with every episode, especially the last ones. With his smoothtalking and the way he handles people, he’s actually being revealed as a very nice and cool guy.

Forgot this was still on, it didn't pull me in....don't know why? I like 2nd couple are they a couple now?
It's a slow burn drama. Everyone will get together only at the end, it seems. But they're getting there.

Every romcom these days ML character has to do everything to make relationship happen. He should confess first,…
Well, it's a trope. But not every drama has it. There are dramas where FL confesses first.

FL is such a shy dork, ML had to invent a concerted plot with other guys to lure her to his house and trap her in a massage chair to listen to his confession again 🤣.

Nah. In K-Drama, they always break up just before the final episode. It's almost like a curse. That and the time…
And for the dumbest of reasons, no less.

Yea, it went straight into makjang territory with that slap. What's next, kimchi slapping? 🙄
Well, the Manipulated was pretty much makjang with that villain.
But yea, there rarerly a drama nowadays that embraces it fully.
