I agree about Empress Dowager. She doesn't look like a ruler or a psycho. She looks very lackluster and bland…
Watching her scenes is like watching paint dry, tbh. How did this dull character lacking any ambition got the upper hand in the power struggle? Starting to look like sheer dumb luck and lots of back up.
She's the consort of the late emperor. This is why she addresses the empress dowager jiejie. She should be the…
Emperor's concubines usually cannot leave the palace until death. Some even get transferred to the new emperor, no matter how yikes it sounds nowadays.
I can happily tolerate Mo Jing Li bring him back, but please get this B**** SZD off my screen already. And if…
Mo Jing Li now doesn't look too bad now, right? Compared to some other introduced trash, lol. The man has a plan at least and not being a reckless dumbass like the marquis. They should end their feud with killing each other off. That'd be nice.
Parts of it are becoming idiotic. A wheelchair wielding fighter against 10 men with blades comes out the only…
Hard agree with everything you're saying. If it was a kdrama, some especially ridiculous parts of it start looking a bit like makjang, lol.
The actress I think was just plain tired while filming it, she was telling about her being severly exhausted after back to back projects culminating in Mo Li. Even got a proper break in many years after it. Also, while this role here looks like her typical typecast one, something in it maybe was too hard for her to portray convincingly. Still, the character itself is fascinating.
Is Mo Jing Li hiding in Lishan Mountain, since it is abandoned, and no one enters there? What happened to Whatshisname…
I kinda doubt that the army stationed at the foot of the mountain knows what happened. They didn't have a clue when FL was leaving, so I doubt they know anything now. They're stationed there to make sure nobody gets in or out. That's about it.
Lol, as soon as a 2fl joins all of a sudden people calling it too soapy, some people say theres not enough romance…
It's not about any side characters. It's mainly the main couple, not feeling it, seen better from both actors. Something's missing here.
They've also been saying they understand each other well, while keeping tons of secrets. It also looked for a while now that they've basically skipped a few steps in this relationship and are acting like an old married couple that only interacts doing mundane stuff at home. Where is the developing believable romance? FL narrating her teenage crush isn't it. And they've barely been on one sort of date.
I get that love can be expressed in various ways, this here is just maybe not my cup of tea. Never liked slow mundane soap in dramas.
Seriously, that sort of end for Qin Cang was just too sad; even the brother, as spoiled as he is, knew better…
I don't think he's dead yet. He was found pretty quickly. And what was the point of showing him with that travelogue girl if he just quickly dies like that.
I feel the Fl is so disconnected with everybody..... I mean obviously she will be with the experience she had.…
Their couple is not clicking with me either. Dunno what it is, the acting or writing. On her own she's great to watch though, when she's plotting something.
