Omg, how many more dumb cliches can this drama have? Now we have an obligatory breakup in the teaser, because of course we must suffer through that. Besides the cute main couple, the plot isn't interesting enough as it is, now they gonna waste screen time even more on this bs? I'm already skipping most of the boring stuff like that work cringefest, evil sister plotting and annoying SML scenes. It's all turning into a big trainwreck. As usual, seems like it had a great start and gonna end on boring finish. This drama should have been 10-12 episodes tops, there's not enough meat on the bones of this plot and cliches most of the time are portrayed in the dumbest, cringiest ways.
Keep watching, there's more than one villain here actually.
Though it was a coincidence, but it was basically FL who saved him. If she wasn't there, he probably would have died there on the road from profuse bleeding. That English teacher would have lured him out of the house anyway, I think. And FL saved him again later when there was another attempt on his life.
I find it funny all the hate for the SML because he likes the FL and pursuing her. Yet everyone loves the SFL…
The difference here being SML is a third wheel in a budding relationship, and he clearly sees it's ongoing and is being jealous. SFL though doesn't stick into anything ongoing, it's ongoing only in delulu SML's head.
Totally agree. Interesting how she ended up at the ML house probably seeking some comfort and care which of course…
If she thought he wasn't safe to be around, she wouldn't have ended falling asleep at his house, for sure. So yea, she simply gotta digest that whole situation.
am I the only one who thinks that in reality the onion plot would be mad creepy. like imagine a celeb texting…
To ML's defense, he was feeling lonely. The guy even talks to AI frequently he so has no real friends to confide to. And he did understand this whole situation is weird and even decided to turn down the Onion woman in the end via director's help. He knew if he turned up himself it would have been super awkward. Plus, he realized he liked FL irl, so didn't want to pursue two women. And he did delete the app and his account in the end. And in episode 12 FL calls him out for doing this and he does apologize.
But what you gotta do if fate keeps throwing FL as a blind date at him 😂.
I don't understand why some of you can't compliment one show or work without putting another one down. It's not…
I wasn't saying anything bad about that other drama, though I could, as it has some big problems. I was just saying that I'm enjoying this one more and am baffled at such low score.
I dunno why the rating is so low, maybe because the first episodes were rather messy, or because ML actor is old, but this drama's characters somehow are more fun to watch and are more relatable than in a more popular Dynamite Kiss. I guess, once again, MDL's biased preferences are showing. Anyway, for those who are on the fence whether to watch it or not, give it a go.
Alright, ML was pretty cool at the end of today's episode. Telling the truth is the best thing here. Now it's up to FL to decide whether she wants him or not.
I’ve watched 2 eps, and I’m currently on epi 3. I didn’t like how they didn’t mention why she doesn’t…
With how it was presented you'd think that she felt the same connection as ML there, but no. Apparently for FL it was just an inconsequential fling. People here telling that she's got no time for romance are making excuses for FL's poor character development. But you'll see for yourself later on.
And of course, as usual in these types of dramas, ML is coming on like a tank, wearing FL down until she accepts his advances. FL here is on the acceptance stage already, the end is nigh. She suddenly about to realize that she loves ML too. The drama has its ups and downs, but FL's lack of naturally progressing genuine romantic feelings is one of the let downs here. It's more like: "He actually is a great guy who always saves me, imma gonna fall in love now". And I don't know what FL thought was going on on Jeju island, but she should have felt something going on between them, and it wasn't ping pong. I'm just disappointed that she viewed their time there as inconsequential and acted like it was nothing special through all the drama, compared to ML who was blown away. And through all the drama she was looking uncomfortable with ML, but now she's gonna skip all the bases straight to the finish. I dunno, just disappointing FL character development here. Not to mention a cliche damsel in distress.
Another major let down is the whole existence of SML character here - super annoying waste of screen time.
SML always butting in here was so unnecessary. He's a dead weight in this plot, just drop him somewhere already. Preferably not on SFL, she deserves much better.
Until FL loses that job or ML quits it, I won't be able to truly believe in her feelings towards ML, because he frequently goes on power trips and she must obey. She must get out of his boot heel already. Right now it just looks like he's making her uncomfortable and there are barely any feelings there, compared to the whole ocean that is overflowing from ML. Typical kdrama bs with power imbalance, where ML comes like a tank on a poor FL, who's got no options but accept his advances and then it's the end.
Atleast Baek mari n jihyun cooling down the lies story..U know.. i hate fm.. fo lying like a forever.. ah.. u…
One Dollar Lawyer was a waste of such good actors and chemistry. The showrunners and writer's quarrel fked it up. I wish somebody competent and without internal problems would pick that drama and make a good season 2, one can dream...
