a great romcom with average ending.the first half of the drama is 10/10 and in general a solid 8/10 imo
At least the ending is not rushed, everything is wrapped up and there's no last minute bs, like in many other rom-coms recently. It's been very tiresome, so many showrunners can't for the life of them figure out how to make a proper ending.
Yea, shorunners clearly knew what they were doing inserting this clear allegory on irl conflict, with very similar looking country names even. If they didn't want any controversy they wouldn't have put it into the show. They probably wanted to have more publicitity through controversy.
I'm guessing the showrunners wanted this controversy, otherwise they would not have put this conflict into the drama, which is based on an irl one, with very similar country names. They are probably one of those "bad publicity is also a publicity" supporters, you can't be this dense.
This article is just depressing to read. Nobody's gonna do anything, even with suicide cases on the regular. And who knows what's going on behind the scenes that these companies are doing to these youngsters to make profit. I've only seen one Japanese documentary on the topic about exploitation of girls in those big J-pop groups, like AKB48, but it was enough to get the picture. How contracts with such inhumane conditions are even legal? These companies implement predatory practices to entrap young naive people and exploit their dreams to become stars. I get that they want to make a return of investment, but how are they allowed to demand these obscene loan shark type penalties?
ooooh that makes sense, i was thinking this felt like part 1 of a season. i wonder why they're making us wait…
They filmed S2 and S3 simultaneously. Why we're not getting it straight away is likely because of Netflix's greed, they've done this before with staggered releases - people who wait for another season not likely to cancel their subscriptions.
2 More games being played (the ones on the wall) but stopping before the last game. A LOT of brutal likable Main…
I think: 011 shooter would die to save the father. She shot him in a way for him to survive, just gotta save him from organ harvesters. Grandma and her idiot son would die together. LGBT character and pregnant girl would survive, because of course they would. Pregnant girl's ex-boyfriend would die to save her. The Frontman and his cop brother gonna kill each other. ML's gonna survive and maybe become the new Frontman. The rest are gonna die. The games are not going to end, as it will be revealed it's an international ring.
why do i feel like loophole here, the fact that internally these pink people harvest organs of players, would…
The organ harvesters are doing it illegaly, or at least they think the Frontman doesn't know. They bullied 011 shooter to stop killing people so that they can continue harvesting. The sailor grandpa on the boat was clearly in cohoots with them. Divers were swimming to his boat to handover organs and he brought them on land. That's why he was hanging around the island when the cop was shot in season 1. The cop and ML are too trusting. But then again, if you stop trusting people you gonna end up no better than those who run those games.
Not sure what people were expecting from season 2, but looking at negative comments it was something outlandish…
Not sure if anybody noticed, but the Frontman's number was 001, just like grandpa's in the first season. They weren't even trying anything new, lol. ML certainly didn't catch up on that.
Not sure what people were expecting from season 2, but looking at negative comments it was something outlandish for this drama. Personally, I think it was a totally fine interim season, looking forward to the finale. Nobody was perfect and the idea was no longer new, but it was still quite entertaining.
One thing I didn't quite like was how easily normal people started savagely killing each other. The O's weren't brought anywhere near the animal state to be doing that. And I rather doubt greed would make most of them jump over themselves to do that. And another would be how trusting ML still was. But then again, his plan didn't work as planned, he was dragged into the game as a plan B, which didn't work either, and he needed people's help to stop the game. Too bad that didn't work out either. I suppose they gonna drag all the survivors to finish the games and the only hope are the mercs outside.
Not sure how it's gonna end, but from the first season I couldn't help but think ML's gonna take the Frontman's place eventually.
Don't see a reason why. But then again, everyone's perspective is different. One person's callous words could make another to suffer. And that first person may even think it's nothing special, it's just the way it has to be. Just like in the times of Harvey Weinstein, it was considered the norm for actresses to get roles through bed, him and men of his circle didn't think it was anything bad.
Just because you got it stamped by a lawyer it doesn't make it more legit, jeez. Looks like somebody did something to her, may as well be that guy, you don't get this sick by yourself. Unless she's completely nuts, I don't see a reason why she'd lie about this whole thing. She's not some attention seeking nobody. People were very concerned about her health, so looks like she just explained what happened.
