Yeah dlw's company really sucks. She should've gotten way better resources with her skill and educational bg. Icb they're fumbling all the praise and attention she got after MM this bad... btw I'm also so soooo happy for cfy and wyl 😭 xianyu might have had some faults in the production and writing department and gotten critisized for it, but one thing I saw people being united on even on chinese socials, was that both of them delivered amazing acting and put lots of genuine effort into promoting their precious show. This is the highest form of compliment for these young people because it means the good performance is a result of nothing but their own talent, skill and hard work. (not fancy costumes and sets, not a director who guides even green actors to do a good job, just their dedication alone!) They both have a bright future ahead of them and I sincerely hope they get to work together again 😭
