And about the latter part of your comment, context matters my friend!!! There's a difference between actors from ethnic minorities playing Han characters versus Han people being possibly cast as already underrepresented ethnic minority that's also frequently discriminated against, specially when the STORY has heavy cultural nuances.

It's pretty typical of transmigration stories to never adress the transgmiator's real life. And tbh it'd be a pointless thing to adress unless they're something like time travelers who keep going back and forth between universes and timelines, which is not the case for most of these stories.
