I feel so so horrible for pxr...she could be the it girl after GMP's popularity but her label fumbled the opportunity and her resources kept getting worse and worse until she almost got back on business with anhezhuan, then they decided to release this show right after that one and now she's caught up in a mess again 😭 Is she ever gonna get what she deserves or what???

If you are gonna choose a romance drama you must accept that your screentime and your char's importance is gonna be equal to your fl's costar. You can't accept this kind of genre then demand a 1st billing and more screentime bc it's selfish and ruins the defenition of romance.
I AM allowed to criticise actors who choose this genre while they don't even respect the nature of it.

You shouldn't choose female centric ip adaptations and romance dramas in the first place if you can't stand being equally billed to an actress and have to boss around and make the production team change everything so that you have more screentime and look better and cooler. It's very unreasonable and difficult for me to understand why rjl and actors who have his mindset won't choose male centric dramas and do romance instead.

It's actually a common trait for traffic actors who want all the attention to demand so many scenes where they suffer for the fl so that the audience sees them as selfless heroes and the fls end up looking like heartless arseholes with no sympathy

You can't critisize a single thing on mdl without ppl calling it hate and harassment. Mind you the hatred and harassment the fl is receiving here is a reflection of problematic behind the scenes politics that have been very present in the industry for years and keep getting worse and if anyone who sees things beyond surface level is allowed to discuss and critisize it in a space created for viewers to do so.

And btw the author is a pick me loser as well. Your female centric novel gets butchered and adapted into a male centric mess and instead of sympathising with the woman who fell victim to this very sexist cliche that constantly happens in the industry, you talk shit abt the her. What an idiot

Don't even care if ppl k!ll me for this bc it really gets to a point....rjl is exactly the type of actor ADWAD made fun of. A narcissistic man with the ego of a god who wants the romance drama cashgrab and attention from his mostly female fanbase, yet can't stand the mere thought of a woman taking his spotlight in the said ROMANCE drama for a minute; so him and his team CONSTANTLY demand script changes in his favour and ruin the plot. Then the fl becomes the target of hatred and harassment bc her smaller team and fanbase couldn't save her char from getting watered down in favour of a selfish man.
And no I am not making this up out of nowhere. when you keep up with the industry for years, get to know the bts politics, see the same thing happen over and over again and watch EVERY.SINGLE.ACTRESS end up in a miserable situation whenever he's involved, you realise HE must be the problem!!!!

I believe whoever designed the costumes in Princess hours sucked the soul and creativity out of every coworker of theirs in the industry to succeed bc I've genuinely not seen a single fantasy slash historical kdrama with costumes that are not straight up hideous ever since (Maybe except mr sunshine and Jeongnyeon). Like there's sooo much you could do if you combine traditional korean elements with western fashion yet they always end up with ugly, unfaltterinh, shapeless party city ahh costumes 😭
