Me too... and I'm not one to rewatch dramas from the beginning... but I'm making an exception for this one.
I do rewatch my favourite dramas from time to time. The second time usually gives me a better understanding of the characters and story. I do skip scenes tho.
I am so excited for being able to binge watch the remaining episodes today! No more torturous waiting. Imma rewatch the whole thing again from episode 1 very soon.
I'm utterly conflicted. I wish there were a few more episodes to flesh out some of the plots but I'm also happy…
This is well said! I completely agree with your analysis of their characters and circumstances. “They need to fully let go of that part of themselves in order for them to love the other person completely without anything holding them back”.
Btw I have a question related to ancient China’s history. As mentioned multiple times in LLTG, when a person does not obey his/her elders, he/she can be convicted for defiance. Was that really a thing back then?
Lou Ben’s storyline made me sad and cry a bit Despite his competence, they chose to hold him down, forced to…
I understand where you’re coming from. There’s no excuse for the path he has chosen though. It’s not like he didn’t have access to the power. He’s been given choice to shine by LBY multiple times. With his boldness, he could have disobeyed and bypassed his uncle easily. But he chose the worst way possible.
Now I am curious how CSS figures out LBY’s real identity in the novel. Do you mind sharing more details?
Ah it’s feet washing scene! Thank you for taking time in sharing these thorough details. Judging from the previews and the number of remaining episodes, not sure if we still get to see that scene.
Only 4epis left after the exile. I just hope they don't rush things. I badly want a longer reconciliation process.I…
In Director Fei we trust. I love how we all trust Director Fei’s capabilities to give justice to the closure of this masterpiece especially to our main characters.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS DIRECTOR AND SCRIPT-WRITER.I could type a long detailed review of this epic piece, BUT:How…
Very well said! I like how they keep referencing back what has been said in the earlier episodes. There is no meaningless dialogue in this drama. It’s truly a masterpiece and one of a kind.
Episodes 43 and 44 were so good! I loved the conversation between Consort Yue and the Empress. It needed to happen…
They seem to read our minds and our worries for the Empress from previous episodes. They addressed it in Episode 43, giving the Empress and us viewers, a peace of mind.
It cost me US$ 7.99 even with VIP subscription!
It’s not cheap..
😂🤣😂🤣
I like the spirits! Hahaha

They still managed to slip in comedy in such dire circumstances.
