I cried so hard in Episode 31. I lost it the time Pei Yuan and Ear arrived at the scene and saw the damage. When Pei Yuan was holding Old Bao and started to call him “elder brother”. I believe that’s first time he ever addressed him as his elder brother. And when Li Ni dreamed of them 😭😭😭😭😭 Rest in peace, Old Bao, Huang Da Ge, Zhao Er Ge, Youren and Youdao. You will be missed. Your characters brought so much fun and laughter yet you ended up tragically.
On a side note, it looks like Prime Minister Gu is the hidden villain and was secretly helping Sun Jing. In episode 38, it seems he will be working with Jieshuo people.
What is his back story? Why makes him betray Da Yu?
What a ride in episode 30. My favorite supporting characters especially Old Bao died 😭😭 How is Li Ni going to deal with his 2nd brother ? I guess final battle will be between Li Ni vs Jieshuo people. The imperial grandson is still not in the picture from the previews of future episodes, how is the script writer going to bring him back into the story?

Right. In costume drama, usually a character will be very loyal to the other character if they’re indebted to them like for saving their life. But I can’t recall a back story what makes A’shu so loyal to LCF. He just follows his order blindly without questioning anything. I mean he was once a member of Cui army and was treated well by A’ying. He doesn’t seem to be a bad person as well.

What does LSS mean when she said TTJ lied to her again in episode 40 when she's at the tombs?
I binge-watched until episode 29 and then jumped straight to the finale to see the ending. Well, can't say if I quite understand the ending. Why in all three lifetimes, the history (or I rather say story) repeats itself? All of their miseries seem to stem from miscommunication and mistrust. But again, if it's not it's no longer a xianxia, I guess.
Also what does Li Susu means by "Tantai Jin lying to her"? Lying to her he loves Ye Xiwu instead of Li Susu?

Recommended this drama to two of my friends. One of them was addicted to it. She binge-watched all 56 episodes in 4 days during weekend and weekdays. 😂😂 She even worked from home because of her puffy eyes from all the crying. It reminded me of those days when I was still chasing the episodes.
