I binge-watched until episode 29 and then jumped straight to the finale to see the ending. Well, can't say if I quite understand the ending.

Even weirder why in YS’s imagination, CSS ends up marrying LBY instead of LY. At that point, CSS and LY have decided to be engaged. LBY is not even in CSS’s mind yet.

I think the poster meant the date somehow revealed that he had a date with ZLS to the fans and the fans flooded their date.

I rewatched episode 54 and I feel it has the worst editing. The dialogues in this episode do not seem to make sense.
Firstly, CSS and HBY had a heart to heart talk how CSS still could not forgive HBY and HBY respected her decision. They promised each other to live a good life and went their separate ways.
Secondly, we have CSS speak to YS where she said she was unable to give YS what he wanted.
YS said he has no regrets despite expecting this to happen. Even though he has lost but HBY didn’t win as well. And then he asked CSS to leave first and never look back so that he won’t regret his decision to let her go back to HBY.
What doesn’t make sense is CSS has not forgiven HBY and she has bid him her goodbye. So what made YS say what he said? What happened in between?
Thirdly, we have YS and HBY have a heart to heart talk insinuating YS let CSS get back to HBY.
It’s so confusing. They definitely cut scenes and dialogues in between.
Hope the re-editing (if any) can give us some clarity.

Also, I was wondering if CSS has ever found out it was actually LBY who donated the most for the Hua county rebuild.

I have just realised they didn’t give us the scenes that show CSS and LBY would dine and walk back home together like what CSS mentioned in episode 34 before the engagement. Idk if they shoot these scenes.
I was actually looking forward to see them. Idk if they have these scenes in the novel.
