My guess based on the previews is YQ’s too busy finding Ayin. So HS’s evil deed is forgotten for now. Hopefully the script writer can give us an explanation why Peacock is still walking freely in episode 32 even more powerful.

There are certain things that we viewers know but Ayin doesn’t. I can understand where Ayin is coming from. She’s been hurt so bad by GJ’s previous actions. In Ayin’s mind, all GJ’s subsequent actions after he destroyed his love thread was because he felt guilty as Ayin sacrificed half of her lifespan for him not because he still “loves” her. It doesn’t help when GJ said he regretted saving and hatching the egg of water divine beast. If not for it, the calamity might not have fallen upon Daze Mountain. My interpretation is, in Ayin’s mind, GJ regretted his love for her and her existence. So to Ayin, GJ/YQ’s trust is very important to her as that might be the last hope and connection to their already estranged relationship. YQ keeping things to himself and not communicating his plans to Ayin doesn’t help at all. He should understand Ayin’s character. She’s not the one who stays still when her friend is wronged. She’s loyal and stubborn. So when YQ can’t ensure her of Hong Yi’s safety, she has to take it upon herself to ensure that. I don’t blame GJ as well. As a True God, he bears huge responsibilities. Without hard evidence, it would be very hard to defend Ayin and for Ayin to avoid punishment. GJ/YQ’s problem is that he is too closed off and doesn’t communicate. He should trust Ayin to resolve the problem together. With her intelligence, I am sure, they can come up with something. But again, Ayin is FY’s tribulation. I guess in a way, Ayin’s demise is already set in stone since the beginning and nothing might be able to change that. It’s only the matter of when and how.
