Even though he’s ruthless most of the times and sometimes reckless, but when it comes to his comrades, he is level headed and won’t abuse his power. He won’t sacrifice them for his own gains. Also, I love how he checks upon Ah Fei and Ah Qi and makes sure they are safe and sound.

I would like to praise LBY in these two episodes.

Tbh..the English subtitles cannot do justice to the affection shown by Consort Yue towards the Empress in episode 43 opening scene.
Before the Empress leaves the room, CY actually addresses the Empress as older sister instead of “Her Majesty” or her name. While the Empress has been addressing CY as younger sister instead of her title. That’s the first time CY has ever addressed the Empress as “older sister”. Such a heartwarming scene indeed.

LBY fight scene is so good and well executed!
Kudos to WL, director, cameramen and the choreographer.

I finally got to see the “rabbit” on the soft armour!
That “rabbit” soft armour protected LBY’s life. His love for CSS levelled up instantly.

It’s only the first two minutes. The opening scene already makes me cry a river. 😭😭😭

I tried to watch the drama since a few people recommended it in this page. But I couldn’t get into the story because of the heavy CGI, the FL character and the acting 😭😭

Now you mentioned that. I just realized he really lost his identity with no way to prove he's General Huo's son. The only person who knows and is still alive other than himself is basically her mentally ill aunt.

ZLS’s character is so badass there and she has a sizzling chemistry with Yang Yang.

Before LLTG aired I still occasionally rewatched the drama and I will still do.

I was rewatching the tower scene earlier today and wondering how they filmed it. Now I got the answer.

I think the empress has a bad health to begin with. Her family scandals especially crown prince’s and the 5th princess’s made it worse. You can see her health has been deteriorating since the Wang family’s fall.

She’s so cute in that scene. Disguising herself like a man and carrying a bag with her mandarin duck wings gift for her beloved fiance.

ZLS’s born to play CSS and WL’s born to play LBY.
I can’t imagine other actors playing these two characters. Period.
The performances of both have been so amazing.
We should appreciate the efforts of these two talented young actors have put for bringing the characters to life.
Just enjoy the ride.
For sure, I will feel a void in my heart after this drama ends. Ive been religiously looking forward to Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays since this drama aired.

We are super blessed ZLS and WL use their own voices.

Aw~ I want to see this in the drama. Their kids must be so cute.

I like how CSS’ tone of voice when speaking with LBY has evolved in parallel with the development of her feelings towards him.
She speaks in an endearing way and her voice carries deep affection.
ZLS is amazing for her ability to portray wide range of emotions depending on whom CSS interacts with.
