erm... unfortunately not happening... this is based on seeing the raw version only with lots of fast forward. Unless the script is a jewel of the thai language worthy of Oscar...just no.
You can watch in Bilibili but there is no eng subs... only chapter 1 and they have no sense whatsoever... if anyone knows a nice thai person willing to translate it, that would be nice. Doesn't seem particularly good series let's be honest but I'm curious.
The positive stuff... chemistry btw Ken and Leu was off the charts... we got lots of eye candy to watch in every episode. Music top notch at all times.... Views of Thailand were amazing... That blown up pic of them just about to kiss in black and white was beautiful... camera work at times was very good. The not so good... why nobody question the gloves thing... too much crying ... Ken getting choked every other minute (he should really have mastered how to get out of it by the 4th attempt) ... bruises on and off ... confusing plot with more holes than a colander...the ending wth???...they should improve the shooting sounds... how 5 guys shooting another one in the open could not hit him at all ...people appearing in some sequences without really making any sense, how come are they there at that particular time ?...it's Leu working with the police or not? if yes, why is he accused of murder?... why to spend last 10 mins of the last ep showing what happened to the sister character? a little side note would have sufficed tbh. She wasn't that essential to the film. Anyway, it wasn't a waste of time at least for me. I still enjoyed watching this series and above all watching the relationship of Ken and Leu. Liked the age range of the actors, young but not too young as to make the whole thing unbelievable. This is for me the perfect age for a nice BL character. Those school kids with braces and acne are just such a turn off! So yes, I do recommend watching but be prepared for some disappointment. This could have been as good as KP but the shoddy plot or direction/execution ruined it. And that end... Why would not show that they reunite at the end? or at least a final convo btw Ken and Leu putting all out in the open and the reasons and then if Ken decided it was too much and not to get together again ... then yes, do that open ending you want so much! Hope there is a season 2 improved !!
someone said below "what a garbage" ... and kind of agree...maybe will not call it garbage but this is quite, quite bad. Horrible editing, story full of nonsense and plots already seen in better movies, a FL that can only open her eyes really big and lots and lots of cringeworthy moments. Has in my opinion only 2 good things... the moments when all bros are interacting and the OST. I really liked the songs at the start and finish.
I avoid Asian dramas that focus on mental health like the plague. They dont take it seriously, it insults my intelligence…
I would still recommend you to watch it ... it's honestly really good if you're looking for an action drama. Jiang Lu Xia is the only female in this series that is any good and she does a very good job of portraying a female soldier. The rest, they could have got rid of them for all I care. Fair enough they are not very good at the medical stuff, they don't seem to be able to add any realistic scenes of this ... they always look amateuristic at best. However, is the first time I've seen them trying to look into the psychological consequences of trying to create killing machines, and for that they have to be praised. Maybe not the best out there but good attempt nonetheless.
Mostly because ppl tend to see Military drama from China all about propagandas, which is partly true, however…
Totally agree... like the american counterparts, yes there's lots of propaganda but you have to look beyond that and it's very well done and full of realistic action. Like the US doesn't sell their boat in avery single film (rolling eyes) ... we're just more used to it and also they do it a bit more delicately and with less verborrea... my goodness the chinese like to preach with all those patriotic deliveries hehehe!
I absolutely loved the first 40 episodes. Military dramas are my absolute favorite, and this one started very…
Totally agree on the romance part! The last 5 eps, well, I personally did not find them so terribly bad. Indeed, they could have stopped at 40 and the rest look like a later addendum but still not too bad and more action and more Yang Yang getting lost on his own, hehehe... My theory with the chinese dramas and series is that they get paid more the longer they are, hence the average of 35 chapters per series 😈😈😈
coming here to let ya'll know that im rewatching it 😗 .also, many asking for romance whereas i wasn't a big…
Just finish it myself and indeed will re-watch at some point. Also, quite glad there were no romance scenes tbh... this series did not need them and the females represented with exception of the character of Lone Wolf, truly, didn't know what were doing there. They should have never been in. Totally unrealistic portrayal of female military personnel in my opinion.
Put aside all the chinese political propaganda of which of course was a lot (ff used a lot too) ... and personally I found this a very, very good series. Usually, I get bored at 15/16 eps series but not on this one... I keep looking forward to the next ep as all of them were full of action, which is what this series is all about. The use of effects like camera action from the perspective of the viewer, like in a video game was really interesting and fun. It has nothing to envy any of the american made similar series or films, which let's be clear, have the same amount of propaganda. The trope of the deeply troubled hero that has no friends and keeps trying to be the best there is, it's one of my all time favs so I enjoyed this one a lot...it did not hurt that Yang Yang is just edible, I'll literally die for him, he's just sooo amazingly handsome and cute and has a bod to droll for days...sigh! Anyhoooo... my only pet peeve on this one are the female representation... that was just plain awful to witness with the exception of the Lone Wolf character which I thought it was portrayed really well as a loner. As for the other 2, not sure why they are there in my opinion. Both of them look as much as a soldier as me as a cupboard! the kinda FL was tiny, wearing an uniform 3 sizes bigger and looking like a bit of wind would send her to the other side of the hemisphere. Utterly ridiculous looking and not sure what was her purpose. Sooo glad there were no romantic, mushy stuff tbh. It appears that chinese films and series can only do ridiculous petite, delicate females... there are no other female types in China apparently. In this the americans are a bit more realistic. I'm not asking for a macho looking woman but at least someone appearing strong enough to withstand a military training and career. Like Mila Jojovich... she's amazingly beautiful but still looks like if you cross her, she'll be able to kick you till next week!! Apart from this, I totally recommend this series and prob will watch again in the future.
Why the women always scream like crazy when they see a man without a shirt? It's beyond stupid and idiot! They…
Right! personally this type of trope annoys me sooooo much, sometimes I just stop watching the drama all together. Not sure how in this day and age script writers find this situation in a drama in any way entertaining or funny in any way whatsoever, so it's OK to add it in. It's just cringeworthy. Guys, just stop it will you!
I do know that when you watch a lakorn, any sense of logic or rational thinking or normal human emotion goes out of the window. But who in his right mind, have someone that spend years looking down on him, reminding him that he's a charity case, telling him that he's got nothing and will get nothing but still has to work like a horse, hurting on purpose not only him but all around him... and then finds that same person is his real grandmother and that indeed he's an orphan because of her and lied all his life... who in his right, logic, human mind would be able to forgive her and forget ??? Sometimes the desire of sainthood in these lakorns is absolutely annoying to all hell and a good ending would have been to see this couple getting on a plane to Italy !!! That would have been a good end and not this total K-r-a-p....phew...rant over... was getting sooo annoyed I had to say it... then I remembered ...is a Lakorn lol
I really, really struggle when the FL is a doormat, smiling all the time to a guy that doesn't love her so I'm finding hard to even finish the 1st ep on this one.
Following the advice read here I did persevere instead of ditching this after the first 3 eps...Jesus! but I wanted to slap that woman few times!! Anyhoo... as with all this type of series it has the usual tropes and the enemies to lovers theme. Not particularly fond of Kao as an actress tbh ... the only thing she does well is to open wide the eyes and move them side to side to express everything! Anyway, not the worst I've seen or the best. If you are willing to throw out the window, reason, logic and normal human behaviour, watch it. If nothing else, to keep looking at the cutest thing under the filipino sun, my dear Mark Prin. Those dimples should be illegal ...sigh!
The not so good... why nobody question the gloves thing... too much crying ...
