Well, that was a total waste of time. The editing, camera angles, the dubbing, and the fact that the female lead actress barely opens her mouth when she speaks made this drama super hard to watch. The dubbing wouldn't have been that bad except for the female lead actress making it look like she is only mumbling her lines most of the time instead of properly pronouncing them so that they would line up with the lines spoken by the voice actor. This drama was a mess.
On the U.S. iQiyi app, it has been completely removed from the Coming Soon list. Since it is still showing up for you, maybe I will hold onto a faint sliver of hope.
One thing I will say, I wish we would have gotten a scene with Qian and Yuan playing with/cuddling Lili's baby. That would have been over-the-top sweetnees and cuteness.
Now that I have finished watching Unknown, I am going to rewatch it all over again while waiting till May 4th when Wandee Goodday starts airing ππππ
Am I the only one obsessed with this series? I started this when ep 8 was out and since then I rewatched the existing…
This is one of the few series that I have watched each episode as it has aired instead of waiting a few weeks so I could binge watch several episodes at once. I love this series, and tomorrow after I watch the last three episodes, then I will start the series from the beginning and binge watch it all at once.
Welcome to the Mourn You Forever Xiang Liu Appreciation Society. We argue alot about how much XY knew about XL's…
I don't know if I can handle seeing live action Xiang Liu die. A part of me hopes that they kind of gloss over and minimize his death a little in the series, while the other part of me wants the whole tragic scene, including the epilogue, played out on screen so that all can mourn and grieve over our damaged and tortured anti-hero Xiang Liu.
Oh God! Just finished reading the novel and I must say I have never cried so many times while reading a book. I have never cried so hard for a secondary character. I have never felt so absolutely heartbroken over a secondary character such as I have been for Xiang Liu. I have never seen a more deeper love by a secondary character than what Xiang Liu has for Xiao Yao. One of the saddest things is Xiao Yao never knew of just how great Xiang Liu's love for her was. I have never sobbed so much and for so long over the tragic ending of a secondary character such as I have for Xiang Liu. Xiang Liu's last thought before going into the last battle where he knew he would die was this: " Xiao Yao, from now on I can no longer stand watch to protect over you, you have to take good care of yourself, wishing you a lifetime of worry free happiness." He made sure that Xiao Yao could protect herself, he made sure Xiao Yao was never alone, and he made sure that Tu Shan Jing would always be by Xiao Yao's side. Only with this could he go into that last battle and die in peace, knowing that Xiao Yao would be okay. And he made sure that Xiao Yao would never know of just how deep his love for her really was. Xiang Liu is truly a character who has left an indelible mark on my heart.
I don't know if I can watch season 2 after the absolute heartbreak that Xiang Liu has just put me through, but I know if I do that tissues will be a must because sobbing will be happening multiple times throughout the season. πππππππππππππππππππ
Just started chapter 29 of the novel, which is where season 2 should pick up. I have never seen a tv drama so closely follow the novel before. Nearly everything that is in the novel is also in the series, and nearly everything in the series is also in the novel.
I will admit to being a little scared of what the second half of the book is going to bring me. I know some of it from reading comments about the novel over on season 1's page, and I know I will be sobbing at some point.
Or maybe July/August/SeptemberOr even October/November/Decemberπ π
π€£ππ€£π Truth! I have watched the first season four times while waiting for season 2. How many more times I am going to watch it before the second season airs??
someone who has read the novel could tell me if itβs an happy ending or if I should schedule an appointment…
It is a happy ending, but the novel is quite different from the series. The novel is much darker and the romance is very minimal until the last chapter or two. I rarely say this, but the TV series is much better than the novel.
Since it is still showing up for you, maybe I will hold onto a faint sliver of hope.
