Episode 30: For me Gang Ju he’s the best character in the show and the family owes him an apology when the truth…
I felt it when you said about the chairman not caring about his step-son taste but as soon as his biological son came along, he was suddenly trying to know his taste. Also, he was trying to initiate conversation. He is trying to communicate with him. I didn't take those scenes with a heavy heart when I first saw them. But now that I am thinking about it, its actually sad. Gwang Ju spend his entire life trying to please his step-father including giving up on his dream on exploring film making and actually trying to learn about his step-father's business. It hurts because he tried too hard only to be thrown out the first instance the father loses trust in him. Its as if his insecurities of trying to please his step-father became validated. You try hard to please someone to get into their good mercies and also its because you may think they can throw you out the first chance they get if you disappoint them. The father had no interest of where the son he knew the entire son's life stayed after kicking him out for him to host his biological son. Gwang Ju was too soft-hearted to actually still try to get in his good books that he even kept the membership of the gym where his father went. I guess its as they say, "Blood is thicker than water". Gwang Ju became irrelevant soon after the biological son came along.
Any one excited for Choi Hee Jin, literally the only bright spot from the Impossible Heir.Unfortunately she is…
I might get a 2nd female lead syndrome here too. First love aren't meant to work, how about they both end up with the 2nd lead. That's something you don't get to witness.
Well, your reasoning is so poor. The ML mother is also not so innocent. She evaded the tax. That's not a lawful…
Okay, let me go slower. She didn't kill means she is not the worst kind. She is a schemer because she wanted to trap the chairman so she isn't exactly innocent. Now, you understand? Its just his mom's feelings. She will be fine when she gets all her money back. Embarrassment from the public? Well, that's given. But the public will soon forget after six months or even a year and she will stay rich anyway. But if Da Rim's mother gets convicted for a crime, she will face over 10 years of jail and it will destroy the entire family. The grandparents may die of shock, the son will lose his job and the sisters' reputation will be ruined such that they may not get employed anywhere else. Moreover, the son may also get divorced in addition to being fired and the entire family will go down with debt because they will have to compensate for illegally using the money. So you may not side with the girl but at least have some compassion for the entire family. Also, I believe she is genuinely in love with him. She quit her job and even though the ML is always looked down on by many people, she always believe in him. She's such a doll (adorable) that she says she will love him even when he just breathes beside her. He doesn't have to prove himself for her to love him. I believe her. I would also have changed sides if my partner risked their parent's money to save my family. I mean that's some self-less love and it wouldn't have mattered if I had a crush on someone else. That would be history because that is someone you don't come across everyday so I wouldn't want to lose that opportunity. So his mother will be fine. The end of the story is with her rich. But we have Da Rim's entire family saved, which I think its a less evil that Gwang Ju is willing to take. Just break his mother's heart a little to save an entire family. Its bad, but there is no better option for him to consider.
Well, your reasoning is so poor. The ML mother is also not so innocent. She evaded the tax. That's not a lawful…
Bruh,,, you are too self-righteous for your own good. Yes, they saw a man bury the money. But did they steal it afterwards? No, its only after they saw the man had died and became convinced that the owner of the money was dead that they decided to take it. They convinced themselves that the money had no owner. Also, please read the whole statement. I said it is STEALING or THEFT. I didn't say otherwise. Also, who are you saving the money to give back to if you don't know the owner. In this case, they thought the owner was dead. They wouldn't steal if they knew the entire story behind the money. Anyway, my entire argument completely disregards money as a source of happiness if you read it to understand and not to reply. I say MONEY CAN'T BUY HEALTH. So its better to be in debt after getting the life threatening condition treated. I said its better to be SAFE THAN SORRY. And in this case, the grandparents and the mother were even willing to go to jail than have Da Rim blind. In other words, its people before the money.
Well, your reasoning is so poor. The ML mother is also not so innocent. She evaded the tax. That's not a lawful…
Technically speaking, they didn't intend to steal the money. They just found it and kept it for themselves. Now, the right decision in this case is to report idle money. But let's assume you're a mother and have a daughter who is about to go blind forever if you do not have her treated. Will you keep that money for yourself even if its stealing or not? Also, I called it exactly that, THEFT. I don't think my first comment sugarcoated that term. Stealing from the rich and giving the less fortunate is basically robin hood. Its a crime and theft nonetheless. Well, if you do find some cash that you didn't acquire through violence and threatening and have a life changing condition that is time bound, then please go ahead and steal it. it's better to be safe than sorry. Money can't buy your health back once its lost forever. So its better I am healthy with a big amount of debt to pay coz in the end you should return the money because your intention was always to be healthy and not misuse the funds.
Well, your reasoning is so poor. The ML mother is also not so innocent. She evaded the tax. That's not a lawful…
You have a sound argument. Though for her to pay the taxes she owes, it means she will go broke. Remember, she only has 10million while the taxes for that 15 years amounts to 13 million. I know its wrong but in this situation even for me, I think I wouldn't want to pay the tax. So, I would wait for that period to end before spending the money. Yes, Da Rim's mother is a flawed character. She is selfish and inconsiderate to other people (or people that are strangers to her, she's not affectionate). However, I think she is a good mother and daughter in law. That is why I have a soft spot for her. She will face the consequences of her actions real soon when she knows the money which stole and helped her and her entire family, who it belongs to. He hates Gang Ju and speaks ill of him every chance she gets because she blames him for the 3 million he lost in flames. But when she finds out the truth, she will be embarrassed and she will regret. I don't think she killed anyone. She is a schemer just like you said with the chairman. But I don't feel she's that evil to have her rot in jail especially how sweet she is as a mother (Okay, partly. I noticed Cha Rim doesn't think of her as a good mother). But she tries to be one.
You made a perfect judgement of all the characters including Da Rim, how quickly she changed ships. But like I mentioned in some other comment, Gang Ju's weakness is that he doesn't like seeing his loved ones suffer. So, there's no way he would not have helped Da Rim. Going to jail and ruining an entire family seemed like a bigger ordeal to him than simply his mother's being exposed to the public.
Like I said she won’t be jailed…… but will she get her money back???it looks like she won’t by the way…
Well, your reasoning is so poor. The ML mother is also not so innocent. She evaded the tax. That's not a lawful or even morally thing to do. The ML shows how loyal he is to even to sacrifice his love for his mother. She isn't getting jailed, which I think is a win for her. The one who was at the risk is Da Rim's mother. She was about to get jailed. I think he did the best thing given the situation. Also, its not like he didn't want to return the money to his mother, just the situation changed. You can always make more money. Da Rim's mother stole the money to help her daughter to regain her sight, which is priceless. No amount of money in the world can help you regain your sight once you lose it. The stolen money helped Da Rim's family. It helped treat Da Rim's grandmother cancer. It also helped Da Rim's aunt pay for the tuition of her son. Okay, let's see a bigger picture. It is this same money that caused strain between Gang Ju and his step-dad that he decided to leave the company and start his own. This stolen helped him gain business acumen to earn money. The way he was able to earn 4M won to fill the money that was used is nothing short of impressive. So maybe the money that was stolen from Da Rim's mother served a better purpose than just being stored in the safe until the new year for it to be used after evading the tax. I think even if she lost that money, there was so much to be gained.
All that said, she doesn't lose the money. She must have recognized the bags his son came with in the house when she went to the mountain with the police. It is then that she might have realized that her son actually had the money and instead of giving it to her, he hid it. So she feels betrayed because it is her son who does this and bitter just because the entire country will know that she tried to evade the taxes. So she will be embarrassed. But there is no law, based on the story, that will stop her from having the money. It is rightfully hers. Rest assured. Anyway, you have a weak reason to hate the son when he is trying to save everyone.
oh thank god! They are creating them as the second couple! Oofff! If not I would’ve quit because it felt like…
Sorry to hear that. Yes, the parents are there for each other and seem to get along. But maybe there are no romantic feelings involved. They just vibe well as friends. I want both of them to be happy with whoever they fall in love with.
Wow, people really are not having fun watching this? I agree from episode 13-24 its kinda slow. But it picks pace from episode 25. I am currently enjoying it.
Its as if his insecurities of trying to please his step-father became validated. You try hard to please someone to get into their good mercies and also its because you may think they can throw you out the first chance they get if you disappoint them.
