Yeah, you have a point. I am just surprised because for most of us who started watching K-dating shows early on, Heart Signal is literally one of the pioneers that even the Chinese copied that concept. It was one of my highlight shows then.

I didn't expect this show to have less engagement than others. In particular, this season. People were always excited for the release of Heart Signal. Maybe that excitement has gone down over the years. Or most of them are waiting for all the episodes to be released to engage with it.

Yeah, Yugyeong deserves that. As beautiful as she is, she is also rock solid and unwavering. So she deserves at least someone who is like that.

For Minkyung, it was deeper than that. They're both young so marriage wasn't exactly the thing that made them grow apart. Apparently, Yoosik was celibate. So that explains why she was pushing for marriage.

You are called a player when you are too smooth when you talk to your counterpart. Or as they like to say in Korea, you're a fox. It can both be a negative and positive thing. In this context, they meant he's too charming. I don't think they meant it as a two timer, which is what we mean when we call someone a player. They're all exploring and I think Wooyeol is a little too good at it that it seems very scary to most of us. Like he knows how to string the girls' emotions along, which fair enough to me earns him the title a player. I give him the benefit of doubt that he's doing all that to find his best match since he isn't showing all girls that side.
It seems as though when he finds his target he knows how to play the game (flirting). And he's really good at it, which will really hurt many if he doesn't settle for them in the process. I am yet to see whether he will give Yugyeong false hope now that he is showing to lean more on Gyuri. If he does, I will be disappointed because I like Yugyeong. I agree with her, I wish he wasn't that smooth. This will make Yugyeong get false hope which will hurt her because I can see them not working out. I don't who to root for now because they were literally my ship. I guess I will be bored watching the show once that ship sinks.

I mean I understand Seowon. I don't exactly agree but I do get him. They're different aesthetic to dating someone younger or older. Someone younger, you have to be the cool one. Like you have to look out for them and more often than not you have to be the reliable one. Someone older, you see them as cool. You look up to them like you want to be like them as you mature up. So Seowon finds attraction in that sense. Now where I don't exactly agree with him is that sometimes people can be more mature for their age. Or even less mature for their age. So never rule out anyone. I guess he's just using his past experiences to make decisions. I guess they all currently doing that. But sometimes something can surprise you. But its his preference just like how you have yours. I read someone saying he gives them an ick and I was like what? He is just going for what he finds attractive.

I think she had her walls down when she said, 'I am no longer suspicious of him'. So now I think whatever Wooyeol does will hurt her. She was right. She should have protected herself more but its easier said than done.

You just said, the chaebols. Its them who control the state. And its pretty much like the Samsung family and a few other rich families. Here's the thing, to me, actually S.Korea is better than most countries including mine. Like they have impeached a president and some of the most powerful individuals have been put behind bars. Look it up. The chaebols are basically almost untouchable. So they have to be influential (powerful) too.
So one thing I can tell you is that KSH might be wealthy. But doesn't mean he's influential to a chaebol level. So trust me, if he's guilty, the courts will find him so. I don't think he can buy himself out among the high officials. But what might actually happen is that he may have better lawyers and representative who can argue his case better in court through his money. So it will have to be damning evidence that even the best lawyers can't even get him out of.

Just watched today's episode. And I am just disappointed. Is age that big of a deal? I am just surprised that they're people who actually believe they can only date a certain age. Apparently, Wooyeol likes to date older ladies. I mean its his preference but I am just pissed because Yukyung would get hurt. I guess I feel bad because of how pure she is. Now I know what she meant when she said she only believes what is ahead of her. So she gets hurt because she will believe what she sees and doesn't read too much into it. Its gonna be a rough watch next week. I don't like watching when my favorite person is getting hurt. Wooyeol will never get to hear it but he will be letting go one cool girl. Just because she's not calculative, which can get her hurt in modern dating but if you love her right, you will have the best woman in the world.

Wooyeol and YK is actually my ship. But I wouldn't ask you to be on it though. They're most likely not going to work out. Its more like a hot guy dates a hot girl kinda vibe. What I mean, at the moment, they're center of the attention. Or they're both popular. I never see such relationships work. One has to be the less popular one because if they both have options, they might not put in effort to make it work.
There's only one way they could work out. Only if Wooyeol chooses to pursue it. It won't work any other way because YK as we all know from the 1st episode, she doesn't like to feel like she's the one who is losing out. I guess she has had bad experiences where she went all in and it didn't turn out great. Plus, I think the other guys with time may pull her away if Wooyeol doesn't give her that assurance.
But if Wooyeol gives her that assurance, she's most likely going to go all in on him. She's that type. She only needs some reassurance. More like she wants to feel safe that the feelings are mutual if she has to go all in. So yeah, the probability of all that happening is close to zero. Because how I saw it Gyuri has a strong personality, which seems to be what Wooyeol likes. But I still want Wooyeol and YK to work out just because YK is the prettiest when she has that 'in love' look on her. Though it won't.

Well, I looked over at evidence on both sides. I don't know what to believe. I will just believe the final judgement from the court. Again, I blame the parents more in my opinion. I think there's more harm than good that comes with exposing your kid to that much spotlight that soon. If you expose your kid to a control exposure, that won't be that bad. But they had her doing gigs where she was paired with an actor 9 years older for a romcom or was it a fantasy, when she was just 14 years.
So from where I am sitting, the parents must have used her as a cash cow. And when she was cancelled and all that fame and money evaporated overnight, they didn't support her. She was working at restaurants where people would take photos of her and mock her online. She once posted that she's just human and people should let her just live.
We can sit here and blame KSH all day long about him grooming her. But I place the blame of her death on her parents. She died all alone in her home when she was going through all that. The agency dropped her or they make us believe the contract expired. Who did she have on those final moments. Everyone failed her. So, I think its easy for her parents to just put all that blame on KSH. And it may be right depending on the outcome of the court. But they're facing the consequence of their actions. And its not more about KSH or the netizen.

So guilty until proven innocent? Unfortunately, she's not here to defend herself. Thats the sad thing about a case involving someone who died. I only hope the truth is revealed soon. Even if KSH is innocent, his brand has already took the hit. People will never see him the same again, whether the charges are true or not. So I can count his career as already over.

So grooming. Okay, now what led to her death? Is it the grooming or the neglect from the family or the cancel culture?

I am curious, are we blaming KSH for her death or grooming or both? I also don't trust the parents. Assuming the allegations are true, where were they when all this was happening? She committed suicide so she must have felt extremely lonely. She just had her worst three years of her life after the charges and debt, did they ever care to check up on her? I just think they neglected her. She was infamous at the time and she didn't make money for them. One of the biggest burden with child stars is that they shoulder family burden from a young age. I am just thinking that maybe she would be alive today if she had a solid support from those close to her. Don't get me started on the cancel culture. I just think we all failed her. And if y'all think KSH is the main culprit and its proven to be so, then he should pay for those crimes too. If KSH was a woman, I think he would have committed suxxcide too. Or he has better emotional support or probably just guilty of it all.

Man, tell me about it. I was surprised. They were supposed to have a kiss scene too but the actor actually had to refuse and instead had something like chewing gum kinda kiss. So I am here thinking why was she cast in that role in the first place. I get it, she might have been the bread winner for her family, but there are limits to the roles she could have taken.

Wait till you have to start watching from S1 knowing that she died and that was her last work. Man, I was just sad and somehow angry. I am wondering was it that sad for her to choose to let go? I started watching her when she was 14. So I felt like l lost someone who I watched grow up. And thats just so sad for me.
