Haha, I share the same sentiments with you. I don't even know what to say. I don't want to hate on another girl. I liked her at first, so in those scenes made me feel sharp pain. Its unreal.

Yeah, I have been watching dating shows for very long time. So, I first saw him in another dating show. He had like 52k followers at the time all down from 60k. He was struggling to break through in content creation. People didn't really resonate with his character in that first show. I mean he was the most attractive but still an oddball and its mostly because he was too brutally honest. That is, he never gave his women assurance. I later came to learn through an interview that he was struggling at the time and was dealing with depression. So, he did not try to give his women assurance because he didn't have it figured out.
So yeah, he was a non-celebrity to me. And yes, Single's Inferno made him a hit. But after the show, it wasn't all that kind. He was basically one of the most hated character towards the end and lost like 200k subs and had like 600k subs.
But fortunately, he kept appearing to various shows which kinda cleaned his image a little bit. But for me I think Zombiverse, which was a netflix show, made him him even more popular in S.Korea and globally too. So, the hate train he got towards the end of the Single's Inferno died down.
Interestingly, I read he had shot Zombiverse even before joining Single's Inferno. So, even without it, he was meant to be famous.
To answer you, I agree, I think his popularity is largely due to Single's Inferno but its also mostly because he put himself out there. The face card too. Unlike Zia from season 1 who I can say the show really mapped her because she hasn't done anything else.

Hhahaa, me too. We were all shocked. Its almost unreal. A person can't be that bad.

Its becoming harder and harder to defend single's inferno each season, LOL. Maybe they're all there for fame and limelight.

Ooh well, then she's living dangerously. People can try and relate to being a femme fatale and may find that being admirable. But there's a difference in being a player. People detest that. The trick is knowing the perfect balance. Most importantly, you need to be subtle. She didn't need to be that brutal.

Interesting week. We say good bye to Exchange S4 and hello to Single's Inferno. No breaking from the dopamine rush of dating shows.

And by the way DEX is doing a really good job being a panelist on this. At first I thought he might not fit because he was basically a non-celebrity. But the fact he has no filters, which represents most of us, is refreshing. I watch many shows and disagree with what some people do on it but the panelists somehow find a way to sugarcoat it so as to make it less controversial. So, after the show you're left thinking maybe you're too judgmental or harsh. However, with DEX refreshing take kinda makes you feel validated when you see something is not right. We can't have all of them like DEX as panelists but indeed need one person who is exact opposite of the others.

So, I first liked Min Gee, then saw Min Sue and how friendly she was and liked her too. But that final episode, WOW. Completely brutal. I wasn't even that drawn on Su Been but how rough Min Sue was on him kinda made me to root for him. Because wow. I guess people just have to watch and see for themselves. I don't like leaving hate comments on the casts. We all hated Gwan Hee for being a two timer and basically being insensitive. Well, what a man can do, a woman can do better. And Min Sue is a perfect embodiment of that. Its going to be a rough season, LMAO. I guess each season need a villain for it to be a hit. So, I will reserve my judgment on her.

Well, he was brutally SHATTERED by Mina Sue in truth and dare game. It will be a miracle if ever wants to date again, LOL.

Now that you mentioned it, its almost like I didn't see him.

Nah, it is definitely HJ. At this point, I don't want him to choose YY. It wouldn't be honest. He seems too hung up on his ex. Also, if any of them asks the other to choose them, I think they will match up. HJ already confessed she still likes him so I don't think she will make that move again. Now its all on BH. If he confesses then they will be the final couple.

I loved everything about this show. Kim Seon Ho acting always draws me in. Also, Go Youn Jung is always becoming my favorite k-actress. I think her split personality acting was the best thing of the show. I am surprised that there are actual people who got bored. I thought it had a good balance of everything. But to be honest, I always find something enjoyable as long as I love the actors and the characters. The plot should just be decent. So, people may have some point. I am not exactly a reliable reviewer as I am basically biased.

Then you must like wearing denim clothes. She might reconsider you then. I know Baek Hyun did.

The good news is that, single's inferno is coming up and can be up to your taste. Even better news, you just have to endure one more episode to call it quits. They may or may not air a reunion, but who cares. You have suffered enough.

And the good thing HJ isn't you. Its probably why she is more loved. What makes HJ lovable is that she knows how to appreciate someone. You are not dealing with fruits and vegetables. These are people with emotions and thoughts. I see you have no respect for that. Thats probably where you and HJ differ. You must think she's stupid how she's gentle with everyone even to SY whom she has little feelings towards.

Constant fights and argument eventually weared out their relationship. They almost felt they would each feel happier if they didn't date. So they both said they were young and didn't know better on how to resolve their conflicts.

Sorry for you. But Yunnyeong will get a better man outside the show. I am least worried about her. Have you seen how charming she is. Always bright and has the best reactions. Honestly, the reason Baek Hyun is even contemplating between her and Hyeon Ji means she's that charming. Because if you couldn't tell, since the beginning its always been Hyeon Ji. You must be thinking he's switching from Yunnyeong, but its always been Hyeon Ji, he just was never honest with Yunnyeong and himself. Hyeon Ji is the love of his life.

And honestly, if he didn't care about the feelings of the girls, he shouldn't even be thinking this hard. He should as well just lead on one of the girls and if it doesn't work out after the show, just move on to another different girl. Thats being slimy. But the fact he is taking time to think about his decision and the belated honesty to Yunnyeong about his confusion, just tells you he takes them seriously.

Honestly, if both Baek Hyun and Hyeon Ji choose other people, they would honestly be settling. Yunnyeong deserves better than that and Yooshik as much as people want to criticize him, he deserves better too. They're only right for each other.
And it won't blow up if they get back together. Why? First, they never broke up because they were out of love, its just that they couldn't resolve their conflicts in a mature way without being emotional. Secondly, having something for someone even after 5 years, that means you really like them. They are mature-ish, so they will protect that love much better.

Also, no one is noticing, Hyeon Ji is only considering marriage if she has to choose between Seung Yeon and Yooshik. But she hasn't set any expectations on Baek Hyun. She would be more than happy to just date with him. That's how deep she loves him. Also, that last hug, she hugged him almost thrice or twice. Whenever he loosened his grip, she would hug him even tighter. I saw her do that 2-3 times mid-hug.

Also, back in Korea, whenever they were together, the way they would stick together, I always felt like they were about to kiss. Particularly, in that last hug, you can just feel that chemistry. So, that's why I am saying them choosing anyone short of each other is settling or leading on that person. I mean if I am still that attached to someone even after 5 years, I am just going to marry that person. What more do you need, that's the love of your life. That's why I am convinced Baek Hyun and Hyeon Ji would really last a long time outside the show. They would feel its always been the other person even after all that while.

Nah, that's a little bit too much. They are real persons behind the remarks we make. So, let's criticize them with love. Calling someone a toad doesn't exactly sound endearing.
