Uhm Tae Goo was a nice surprise to this show. I mean when would we have seen him as a ML in a romcom? He is not the Korean beauty standard for MLs so the show creators really took a chance with him. Their fault however is that they didn't think the show would peak so they didn't even set aside funds to promote it. It was a bad call on their end. I am 100% sure if this show was picked by netflix, it would have been sensational.

Just keep watching. You won't notice when it start getting better for you. Trust the universe and believe it will get better coz it will. Also, come back to give testimony if it does. We need more believers! LOL.

Give it time. By next week's episodes, it will be much better.

Lord, I just went through your comments. So you guys have all these complaints? Its either the majority are finding it painful to watch or its the minority that are not enjoying it but are contributing a lot more in the comment section while those of us enjoying (assuming we're majority) are not commenting. Hence, it looks like most of us are not enjoying the show.
However, it is impressive that what all of you have in common is the praise to the ML for embracing the role well. And the complaint that all of you have in common is the poorly written FL character. I mean I understand your point to some extent. But I believe its the 7th episode where it is explained why she behaves like that. It is because she has a trauma of her father who was sucked by his work life that he ignored her and her family. So as a rule she is committed to never being emotionally entangled with a patient. So the actress is portraying the role well as she is supposed to be unlikable or distanced. Also, I saw some of you complaining about her being hard on the ML, remember he is her patient. So she has to distance herself from him to make sure she does not become attached as his doctor.
So there are two sides of the story here. One is for the ML. His redemption arc that he overcomes his bad past and rebuilds himself (career and maybe romance). The other side of the story is the FL as she becomes involved with the ML, she learns about herself. She will become attached to him as it is a romance. So as her redemption arc is that she learns that you cannot avoid being involved or attached to your patients. So the one who commented that the FL treats the mouse test subject better than ML, that's going to change. So give it more time.

I agree and disagree. But I have no logical reason to disagree with you as your argument makes perfect sense. I just like the FL that's all. She has good intention just that the way she goes about it that's questionable. She means well but I agree the writing should have made her character more likeable.

The only people rating the show low haven't really watched it. I mean at the start it didn't look promising but after some few episodes, its one of the shows I am really looking forward to on Friday/Saturday. It deserves at least 8.0 MDL rating.

I think that's why people tend to mistake him as being rude. Since, its difficult for him to be pretentious, he comes off as being arrogant to some people. Like when he was an panel host for Single Inferno Season 3, he was straightforward and blunt about some scenes. I just think its a simple misunderstanding mainly ingrained as part of his personality. I have watched almost all his reality shows, and if one does the same, they will be surprised how thoughtful and the much respect he has for someone older than him.
You could say its because of the cameras. But there's a limit to how much you can pretend. Eventually, you real personality comes out.

P.S I noticed being blunt and straightforward---that people mostly describe as being arrogant and rude---are mostly associated with introvert individuals. I guess its because they lack awareness of being around people as much people as the extroverts. An extrovert can simply fit in and go with the flow of the mood or vibe. They may not be blunt as much as to not ruin the status quo. So, in a way it is a weakness for some introverts who are not shy to speak their minds. They risk to being blunt. On the flip side, introverts are good listeners. And most importantly, they're least judgmental---I know that contradicts the idea of them being blunt. But they're rarely on your business or even judging it. But if they think something is off with, they can get blunt about it. I thought I should mention their positive attributes now that l mentioned their negative attributes.

Waah, I thought @Ayin really explained it well for you. You said you need to fight for what you love. But its not like you're fighting your enemy. Thats your friend. You can get their feelings hurt in the process. Initially, it was Lune who thought he was only one that had feelings for Star. He didn't think it was mutual. So in that case, their feelings weren't really confirmed. So in Lune's POV, why should he risk a perfect friendship by claiming an interest of someone his friend likes. But now that he knows Star likes him, he can finally plan on how to carefully deliver the news to White that he also likes Star and he wants to pursue her without hurting his feelings. I mean if it was a random stranger, you wouldn't give a f***k about their feelings and would do as you've suggested, 'fight for what he loves'. I don't know the type of person you are but I am the type of person who would not want to hurt the people around me, especially my friends and family. Now that the feelings are mutual between Lune and Star, I agree he should open up to White. White is their friend. You don't fight against your friends. You just look for a way to have them not hurt. Coz at the end of the day true friends are always on your side.
I sensed you're the brutal honest type. Its okay if you're that type of person. So use this trick when you're handling your relationships, 'its not about the intent but the impact'. So always look at how your words or actions impact your relationship.

Instead of looking at the character, look at yourself. Would you let your friend hurt for something you can avoid telling them? I mean its easy to judge if its not happening to you. Also, if Lune wasn't aware that White had feelings for Star, it would have been a whole different story. Lune would have told the truth. He wouldn't have a reason to lie. Its seems White is your favorite so far. So it doesn't help with your argument. This is because you'll see most things in his perspective. Yeah, that's being biased. Its not a bad thing considering its a drama and every viewer has a bias.
But yeah I am judging from my experience. I have liked the same person as my friend. And in most cases, I gave up on that person for the sake of my friend. Also, like Lune, I have denied having feelings for that person to my friend to spare their feelings. I haven't found undeniable connection with a person like Lune has with Star to make me be in the same dilemma as Lune. If both me and the person, my friend and I like, had a deep connection, then honesty is the best option. Yeah, eventually, Lune should be honest with White. Especially now that Star has confessed and he feels the same way. I wouldn't advise him to throw away that connection. But again, we love our friends. Sometimes opening up such things may mean losing that friend forever. Don't be lied about someone being kind and they can forgive easily. Once they feel hurt or betrayed, you can lose them forever. So for me, Lune has a reasonable reason to lie to White. For now, actually. Maybe, not later. Its a gamble really. So give Lune a break.

Well, he knew beforehand White had feelings for Star. Honestly, I wouldn't blame him for that. If my closest friend had a crush on someone I liked, I wouldn't wanna hurt him. Plus, Lune has a social life thanks to White. So turning against him or hurting his feelings is hard even for Lune. Also, no one would have known he existed if not for White. Even Star didn't know him. So, he may feel indebted to White.

Well, I have a feeling she has something for White and not Star. But lets wait n see. She pretty much was worried about him when she saw his feelings get hurt.

In both cases the FL lead retaliated. They even had to resort to physical violence in some. In crazy love, the FL made sure she got her revenge by publicly humiliating the ML. It happens. Not one side is taking the hit.

Hence, I said they're still disliked.

Its been long since I last watched this, but if I remember correctly he started liking her when she stood by him when he was going through a depressive stage. It was when he lost his friend through the cruel sport fixers and Kwon Sook stood by him and didn't give on him.
